    Super speedways, short tracks, road courses, and any track in between #24 Jeff Gordon was the best!
    Was a huge fan of his before he became a fan favorite.

    I was watching this race. Same winning car he used for Brickyard. Its pain to look at NASCAR right now with rules bs and so as downforce reduction. I miss the glory of chevys and the 2014 aeropackage.

      Couldn't agree more. I know it is to save costs but you dont reduce the amount of horsepower in this sport.

    • @coderider9019
      @coderider9019 4 года назад +1

      Yeah that was a fun package to watch, and it gave drivers more control. So Gordon really did well with it. If only he beat Jr in Martinsville, or didn't have the wreck with Brad. He'd easily be 2014 champion.

      I absolutely despise the splitter, but 2014 definitely was fun to watch with the amount of horsepower and aero these cars had. Then they decide to take away the horsepower the next year and make it boring as piss.

    Indy, Michigan, and Pocono are my favorite tracks. I like tracks where the cars can run wide open on the straightaways and lift a little in the turns.

    What a joke NASCAR is now....
    Those spaceship looking cars...
    Now at Atlanta, they all just run single file with foot to the floor??
    All about aero now...takes the skill of better drivers and throws it all away. NASCAR is now so far removed from its roots.

    What a missed title chance. Being SOFT ultimately cost him the title. See Ryan Larson

    • @jeffgordonedits1258
      @jeffgordonedits1258  5 лет назад +2

      Being soft? Uh, what? Point resets and being wrecked hardly qualify as being "soft". He was robbed, just like Roy Jones Jr.

      @@naturewisdom677 Let me guess...you must believe Jeff's 2015 Season was superior to 2014 simply because the Chase results say so? Jeff didn't choke or underperform, he had what was rightfully his stolen, anyone should be able to see that. Let me guess, you think Park Si Hun was the winner over Roy Jones Jr. since that's what the official record shows?

      @@jeffgordonedits1258 i think your a sore loser and a big baby honestly. Again i dont just follow stats. Ive been inside amd out this sport every race since Michigan 1999. What do you know about Nascar? Do you know why Richard Petty was denied 5 in a row and how the points system played a part in that back in the early 70s? Do you know the real reason why Ray Everham left Gordon? Do you know how many times the points system was changed? And im not talking 1972 2004 2007 2011 and 2014 and 2017. Do you know when the first plate race was run? Do you know who the top 10 drivers of all time are by statistically calculating the facts? I dont think you do. You sound like a big baby whos mad his driver lost. Well deal with it. Jeff Gordon had LEGIT chances to win the title in 1996 1999 2003 2004 2007 2014 and 2015 and either choked it away or got beat. When you watch nascar you cant just watch cars going in circle. And you probably should stop drinking during the races too because you clearly don't remember what happened during the races let alone seasons. Idc how much of a fan of Gordon you are. Facts are facts. You say stolen. I say he bitched and cried too much expecting nascar to make a change for him.

      @@jeffgordonedits1258 Just because he lost his focus because he cheated on his wife sleeping and telling all his personal life secrets to a prostitute and lost his drive and focus forever doesnt mean you stay bias. Jeff Gordon was not perfect and lost more titles than hes won.

    • @naturewisdom677
      @naturewisdom677 5 лет назад

      @@jeffgordonedits1258 Tony Stewart said it best to Gordon in 2011. And I'll paraphrase. Stop bitching. We havent raced that points system since 2003 so why is this topic important? Are we racing it today? Maybe if Jeff Gordon was tough like Tony Stewart he wouldnt have lost 3 titles to Stewart on HIS watch. Some greatness huh? Maybe of Jeff had paid more attention to his career instead of the points system he wouldn't have gotten his ass handed to him by someone his Jr. in Jimmie Johnson 6 times over huh? Remember 2002? When Johnson won 2 races and was ahead of Gordon in points 23 races into the season? Remember when Jeff Gordon got beat by David Rutterman at Chicagoland in 2010? Remember when Jeff Gordon got beat by Paul Fu%king Menard at THE BRICKYARD 400 in 2010? Remember when Terry Labonte handed a 10 win Gordon his ass in 1996? Remember when Gordon has the 2004 Southern 500 and the championship virtually wrapped up if he wins that race getting the points lead as well but CHOKED coming down pit road running over the air gun? How did nascar rob him there? Rememebr when Jeff Gordon couldnt hold off Dale Jr and Ryan Newman at Phoenix after leading 100 straight laps late nearing the end of the race? Wanna keep going? I can talk nascar all day and i will show you that nobody was robbed.
