You really ought to use your keyboard controls more to control g-lock and roll. Swinging the mouse around is horrible at high speeds because it affects target acquisition and nose control in general. You'll be better off rolling into your turning direction instead of just using the mouse to automatically do it terribly slowly. Using the mouse only for turns in these introduced a lot of yaw that's just useless, slow, and inefficient.

@@alexvolute7454 You have a mig-17. As of now a variant isn't needed as Russia has a strong line up at that br. Countries that are in need of more planes in there air tree are nations like Germany. They have 4 tier 6 planes... The addition of the Lim-5p was a good add-on to the tree. Please cope with the fact Russia doesn't get an upgraded version of the 17, yet has some of the best planes in game.

To be serious however, adding a 17F to russia would require 0 development (shenyang is already in game) so its addition would not detract from any other nation. I am not saying other nations should be blocked from getting russian planes, just that russia should get them (or an equivalent) as well. Think MiG-21MF and MiG-21SMT or Su-22UM3K and Su-17M4 The fact that Russia has "some of the best planes in game" is entirely irrelevant to the issue, as i am not speaking from a balance perspective.

Since you asked. I think this video is pretty garbage. Also, note before you read: by coincidence, his verdict on the Lim 5 is correct in this video, it is a good plane. However, the small number of games before judging the plane and the fact that he only focuses on kills for it is very likely to obtain skewed results in other ocassions. I also haven't watched any of his other videos on planes. The gameplay does nothing to show the strengths and weaknesses of the plane, and most if not all the kills you get are either people who aren't paying attention or full commit head ons, which are entirely down to luck, and which you still fail to optimize because you shoot too late. This means that what you did could have basically been done with any similar plane in the game, because it entirely depended on enemies screwing up or luck, and yet you give the idea that it was all thanks to the performance of the plane. No sort of dogfight was shown, no sort of actual skilful gameplay which showcases the capabilities of this plane. I guess you out ran some people, that is it. You have played total of 6 games with this plane. In 5 of these you have died, which is a terrible result considering all the kills were the way I described them, lucky, and yet you died almost every time. This is on top of the fact that basing your verdict of a vehicle in such a small amount of games is very likely to give skewed results. The commentary itself, very poor as well in my opinion. You are basically saying whatever comes to mind at any given point without any thought behind it. You never explain what the enemy did wrong, what you should do, what you did wrong when you died. Simply glossed over it and went on to comment how you got 2 kills. Basing your opinion on a plane on the amount of kills you got over just a handful of games is idiotic. Rather than that, you should be looking at how the plane performs in individual engagements. Look at it's energy retention, turn rate, acceleration, etc. compared to the planes you are flying against. You should also premeditate, explain and reflect on what can be done or happened in the situations in the video so that viewers actually get something of value from the video. Now I am sure that some of the people that watched will copy this bad gameplay, things like taking full commit head ons which are a stupid thing to do because you are leaving whether you survive or not to just luck, instead of learning how to shoot, dodge head ons and then engage on a dogfight. Also some tips, which are beginner tips that someone with so many thousands of matches like you shouldn't need, but you do. Please utilise keyboard pitch and aileron controls rather than dragging your mouse through the screen, it also helps with defensive flying. Try to use your free look more to learn what is around you, and prioritize surviving and winning the match long-term over getting easy kills which a teammate is already set on getting. Also enable IAS+SPD in order to see both air speed and real speed on your HUD, which helps to know how your plane will fly depending on the altitude and atmospheric pressure, as well as knowing how close you are to your stall speed, top speed or that of your flaps. I am not the best player ever (I do have more Air RB battles than you though), however, I am not putting my mediocre gameplay out there and giving misinformed advice for noobs to copy. If you want to get better at the Air RB game mode, I recommend you watch other CCs such as DEFYN who provide much more relevant information about the planes they're flying and how they are flying them.
