I have the C9 and Mel9. I thought I had seen every video on these pedals. I missed this one. I bought them because I teamed up with a women who wanted to do music by artists like Israel Houghton, Eddie James and Ashley Cleveland and other black Christian music artists. It was her on keyboards (only piano) and vocals and me on guitar. I needed to fill up the space so I got those two pedals. Of course i had to mix the dry and organ to get the sound we needed. That was a few years ago and that we don't do it anymore. Now I think I might pair these up occasionally with a Strymon Bigsky or Nightsky on a totally different project. I haven't bought it yet so I haven't decided which one. I'm leaning towards the Nightsky.
Really enjoyed hearing these. Both great, but maybe the variety of sounds in the B9 just tips it. Also appreciate you mentioning that you need to consider your guitar playing style to make them sound anything like authentic.
I like the tones coming from the B9 the best. I also went with the KEY9 (more piano type keys and some other instruments thrown in), the C9 just wasn't different enough to justify that purchase. These things aren't cheap. btw - thanks for comparing the actual stops on the real McCoy, I haven't seen anyone else do that.
Awesome review. Have been trying to narrow down which one , think the B9 is my first choice. Tks again
This was a great video. So helpful, thank you!
Amazing how close they are.

Awesome video! I own a C9 and had no idea which organs it emulated nor how to really use it... And now I do.
Those sounds are amazing! Couldnt say I had a preference of one over the other, both sound great! Great job Caleb
Brilliant vid Caleb! Im so interested in these pedals. Thank you! Love your playing & Love that Epi!!
Appreciate the detail!
Great stuff! Thanks!

I have the K9 - which is excellent. I also have the Boss SY-200, but prefer the K9. Highly recommended
As cool as the B9 is, id have to go with the C9 first. To be able to play 96 Tears and Lord Purple alone seals the Deal!
I'm a C9 user and find it much easier to lift than a Hammons B3.
786itube mentioned the K9, I wonder what he feeds it?
Does the B9 Classic Rock give that Goldy McJohn Steppenwolf sound??
Just use triads for chord making.
I had to wait 50+yrs for these keyboard pedals to play keys on my guitars........
