WONDERFUL TONY AND FIRST LADY.....THE WORLD IS LISTENING......HAVE A TRIP TO ZARAGOZA FOR THREE DAYS THIS COMING MAY, 2024 WITH THE FAMILY AND YOUR VIDEOS ARE TREMENDOUS. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, ABRAZOS.
Excellent to hear that, Ann. We gather you've watched our videos on Zaragoza here ruclips.net/video/Bcl3fOrQXpI/видео.html and here ruclips.net/video/_scvZd5TJbQ/видео.html
Thank you so much we are planning a trip to Portugal and Spain and have found your videos so helpful and informative. You have been very helpful to us. Thank you Keith
Thank you so much once again, Nathan. We would really like to speed up the rate at which we publish the full routes, but they consume so much time and resources I'm afraid we will only be able to publish two routes per year. All the best!
Thanks Jeremy, due to COVID-19 restrictions, it's going to be a very long process, but one day we'll get there. We are in the process of publishing our route number 2, but the next route will take a while. All the best.
Dear Tony and Cecilia, you put so much work on this project! Well done! And thank you very much for your soulful presentation on La Rioja area. Sorry to say, by some reason we did not find any detailed info on the Routes N 3, 7, 11, 12, 19. Please advise and please could you give a few links. In a few days we arrive to Bilbao and plan to spend next two weeks cruising on the roads of Northern Spain and Portugal. Thank you in advance for all your help. Best of luck on your journeys.
Hi Joe, many thanks for your kind words. We only have four trips ready (see them on the first fixed comment under the video). The investment need for each road trip (both in terms on money and time) is so considerable we cannot produce more than two trips per year. All the best!
Great channel, very informative and helpful. We are planning to visit the Northern region next week in our campervan. We arrive in Bilbao and will be heading to the North West region. Cannot wait!
Thank you, Lee-Anna! We've just returned home from a week in the Basque Country. So far it's been an unusually cold and wet summer, with a quite a few days with maximum temperatures below 20 degrees, which for July in Spain, it's quite chilly. Bring some warm clothing just in case! Have a great trip!
Thank you so much, learned something new. I have pretty much covered every part mentioned here except the islands and Galicia, Extremadura, Salamanca and Santiago de campostela a couple in the west (to my own surprise may I add 😳). I love Spain and have covered ground in the country.
I have been really enjoying your videos as they are filled with so much great and useful info. Muchas gracias! What we have planned is taking the train from Porto to Vigo, pick up a car and base ourselves in A Coruna (or somewhere in Galicia region) to explore for 3 days before moving on to another spot for a night to drop off the car and taking the train into Madrid the next day. The question I have is what town/city do you recommend for an overnight stop between A Coruna and Madrid. Your insight is so greatly appreciated.
Hola Kelly, buenos días. Esas rutas son una declaración de intenciones, por ahora solo hemos desarrollado cuatro, el resto, inclusive la Ruta del Quijote, irán saliendo poco a poco.
Hi Tony, it's a pleasure to watch your videos and we have planned our trip based on your guidance. We were planning our day trip to Toledo from Madrid in a rented car. Can you please give us reference of a tour guide?
Hi Ashish, we don't have a video on Toledo yet, though it's on our priority list. The car will be completely useless in the city, you will have to find a paid parking lot to leave it during the entire day. Toledo can be visited on your own, we don't have a specific recommendation for a tour guide in the city.
Hi Anthony, you're right, if you buy the train tickets once month before travel, you are likely to find expensive fares, as the more affordable one will have been sold months ago. A car can make financial sense, but always remember to budget for the cost of parking your car in the cities you visit. The pandemic has severely hindered our efforts to produce more road trips, we are unlikely to have new material before July at the earliest. All the best!
We have been doing Spanish road trips for. 21years with caravans motorhomes trailer tents tents camping all over France and Spain 12 years at camping vinaros we have just got back from an aborted trip we only got as far as saumor. In France where I. Had a bad fall so I didn't feel like carrying on to Spain if I am fit enough the next time will be may
Very informative video sir. Love your humbleness in the video. I am planning my next road trip in spain (15-18) days.. i like few days in mountains, few in coastal towns with blue water and few enjoying countryside. Thank you. By the way hi from India!
It’s a good time of the year to visit Spain but the beach season will only be just about to start. The temperature of the Mediterranean Sea in May is still quite cold. If you could make it in June, that would be perfect. All the best.
Great channel, very informative and helpful ! If you do not advice traveling in Spain by car , then how to do it ? which way is the best ? i intend to travel from Barcelona to Andalusia - Gibraltar-Sevilla by car. Pls advice or give us a link. Many thanks !
We advise against using a car to visit Spanish cities. But the car is the way to go for road trips. To go from Barcelona to Seville we would either take a high-speed train or fly. See how to buy the train tickets here: ruclips.net/video/MYqz41n5Qn4/видео.html
We will be in Spain in June and are planning a road trip from A Coruña through the North to Oviedo, Gijon, Aviles, Santander, Bilbao, San Sebastián and possibly crossing over into France to spend the day in Biarritz. We are thinking of taking 6 or 7 days for this trip, as we are staying with family in Coruña and will also be visiting las Rias Baixas. Are there any hotel recommendations that you can give? Thanks very much for these videos.
Hello Silvia, we haven't got yet any specific material on the topic you request. If we were to cover as much ground as you are intend to do, we would allow for at least two weeks to avoid the trip becoming a stressful race.
Thank you! It will be our first time in Spain in 2023. We have 2 girls ages 8 & 12. Which road trip would you recommend? Also I noticed, you don't have Sevilla, Granada and Cordoba. Could a road trip be made of these 3 regions? Thanks!
Hello there, it's truly impossible to give a blank recommendation, given that we know absolutely nothing about your kids. But check out the trips we have published so far to have an idea whether they would please your family or not. We don't include cities on our road trips as the routes are all about driving the countryside. If you visit the three cities you mention, you shouldn't rent a car, travel by train between the three cities. All the best!
In the description of the video (and in the fixed comment too) you will find links to the only road trips we have published so far. We don't have anything on Bilbao yet.
Thank you so much for your helpful videos, Tony! My husband and I will be driving from Madrid to Segovia, and then on to the Ribera del Duero region for wine tasting in October. Do you recommend any hotels in the region that we could stay at that would allow us to get transportation to the bodegas / vineyards or that would be close enough to walk to? Thank you!
Hi Syria, we have been to the area but haven't prepared any videos on it yet. It's a region where bodegas are really spread, ideal to be toured by car.
Hi tony I have just started to research some road trips in Spain will arrvive Barcelona start of September 8th have not seen any places along the coast from Valencia down need to be back in Barcelona 30th sept so about 21 days any advice ?
Hola Tony! We starting our WE ARE THE WORLD PROJECT, ROAD TO UNITY European expedition in Madrid, Spain, we would love to collaborate with you. Let me know if you are interested.
Hello there again, let me know what you had in mind. We're currently on the road, so it might take a while for me to get back to you, but I will definitely do so. All the best!

That's great information, and really well explained. Hard to choose btw. so many outstanding options!!

Hey!, great vídeo!
Don't mention it!
Hola! Me encantan tus videos. Tengo una pregunta..no puedes encontrar mas información sobre la ruta de Don Quixote. Me ha pasado de alto?

Great video! Question - Which road trip is recommended for mid-late March in Spain for landscapes and some hiking from what you've shown here?
Thank you. Of all the trips we have ready, Lanzarote would be perfect.

What about from Malaga to Barcelona? is it worth?
Well, it's not in the realm of the short road trips we design here, but if you have time to spare, the possibilities are endless.
Hola Tony, what is the video number for the road trip in the region of Bilbao? I tried to find it, but I am unsuccessful. Thank you in advance.

Hi What is the best route from Asturias to malaga with a diesel vehicle, as some cities have restrictions. I need to get back to mijas costa.
We haven't done that research yet.
