I visited Spain a couple of years ago believe it or not because I saw Ronda on a TV program and decided that I had to see that beautiful city. I spent 3 weeks touring Andalucia: Malaga, Tarifa, Gibraltar, Jerez, Arcos de la Frontera, Zahara de la Sierra, Ronda and Granada. As much as I could, I tended to stay with the smaller white hill towns (and stay away from the tourist traps of the larger cities) but obviously some of those simply had to be included. What a trip! I urge anyone who is looking for their next destination, to seriously consider Spain, more specifically Andalucia. And if you do visit Spain, you cannot possibly miss the Alhambra in Granada. The hostess of a British TV program, "Secret Spain" said of the Alhambra, "This is a place you must see before you die". But before you leave, do your research, know where you're going and book online before you depart as much as possible.
