I'm going to try to have the next video released on Friday Jan. 19th at 7 pm Eastern. Please turn on your notifications so you don't miss it! See you then!!!
Thank you! I'm glad I got the honey. I've seen that brand in the grocery store and the price is usually high. With the food pantry offering it was a real treat!
That cheese tray looks delicious. Don't worry about the honey it doesn't go bad. The salmon will be fine as long as the can is in good condition. I've gotten a lot of that from my local food pantry over the years.
I was concerned about the Salmon! I try to get that as much as possible for omega-3's in my diet. I'll take a closer look at the can to make sure it still looks good. Yes, the cheese tray is nice! I'm so glad they had it, it's such a specialty treat item, it makes me feel all fancy! And it had figs which I love! I'm glad the honey is still good and I cannot wait to try it.
Just so, you know, honey never expires. It's one of a few things that never goes bad. In fact, they've found some honey and jars inside the tombs in Egypt. And they were perfect as the day they were put in the jars.😊
It does smell good! By the time I shopped in the personal care area, they had one bottle left and I'm glad I got it! Wow $2.99 is really high for a sample bottle. The cost of everything has risen so much. I'm glad the food pantry is available, it really helps.
Thank you! Yes, the curtain rings are working out nicely. They have some weight to them but the rod is still holding up well. It has fallen off the wall before but so far so good! I'm loving the shirt, too! It's a cozy top and love the color.
Hi Sarah. Because honey is so high in natural sugar (about 80 %) and only about 18 % water, it should basically stay good forever. As long as it is not stored at very high temperatures, and the lid is kept on tight it should be fine. Even if it crystalizes you can still use it, if you are using it for cooking just gently warm it up, either pop the whole jar in a bowl of fairly hot water, or use the defrost setting on the microwave, or if you just want a spoon or two to add to a drink like honey and lemon for a sore throat, just use it as it is. It is also really nice having a spoonful in herb and or fruit teas, like the camomile one you had in this video, (especially if you have a sore throat or a cough). Much love and respect from Jo, here in the South East of England. xx
Hi Jo! Thank you for watching all the way from England! I appreciate this info on the honey. I do want to add it to my hot teas. I'm also thinking of warm milk with honey would be a nice treat during this Winter season. I do like the medicinal aspect of the honey as well, that's a good reminder! Have a wonderful day!
I love your videos and your channel. I love how you show the meals put together from food pantry. I go to food pantry but I haven't been in about a month now because of various reasons. I'm having such a hard time and I don't have anyone who could go and pick up food for me. But I do enjoy your frugal ways and simple living. If I was totally alone I would be living sort of similar. So many are having a hard time. Giving tips means a lot. Have a blessed and safe day.
Thank you very much! I'm happy to know you enjoy my channel. The food pantry allows me to eat better than I normally would. I ate a lot of instant oatmeal and grits before the food pantry. It's a blessing to have variety from the food pantry! I wonder if your food pantry's coordinator might be able to put together a box for you and have a willing shopper drop it to you? I think it's worth checking into! I hope you have a great day and God Bless You!
Awww, thank you for your kind words! Like that saying "the show must go on". Recently, it's been very challenging to film because of the noise in my area but I keep on keepin' on! Thank you for watching and I appreciate your kindness!
Hi Tink! Thank you, I like putting a plate together! The colors make me happy. The candy bar was a great find, and there was only one! Santa is away until next Christmas and he is in such good condition, I don't know why he was at the dump but he has a home with me! Have a wonderful night, Tink!
Another great video Sarah! you dinner & the snacked looked yummy. Loved the Christmas it was so pretty . I just did a little valentine's tree ! with some LED lights ! battery operated nothing fancy but it's cheerful we all need that. Anyway I will see you on Friday. Enjoy your week my friend. God bless, oh I loved the Peter Rabbit book . 🥀🌻
Thank you so much! I was happy the food pantry re-opened and had such wonderful items to choose from. I want to make a Valentine's Day tree like you did! I agree, having some extra cheer is a good thing. I enjoy story books I had when I was little, and Peter Rabbit helped create an interest in reading because of the lovely illustrations. God Bless You, too, and see you Friday!
great stuff from the food pantry despite it being tuesday. they prolly should have had a sign up last week that they would be closed for the holiday but what a great stock up on tuesday. loved the top. nice to be able to see out and watch the snow, i bet. i'm in central california and we've only had snow twice since moving here A VERY LONG TIME AGO! haha. take care, sara - stay warm and well.
Hi Karen! I am very happy to get what I got at the food pantry. They had so many sweet treats to choose from but I held back, a little. I'm loving the red shirt, too! I'm glad I could show you the snow, that must be strange to not see the seasonal weather changes. I think I would miss it greatly. I'll try to take more videos of that for you, if it snows again this season. I hope you have a wonderful day, Karen!
Happy Tuesday! I loved seeing how you rearranged your living room - the clips for the curtains seem like they are much easier, so you can peek out the window. We had snow here today and I was so happy to be warm and cozy inside. So glad to spend my Tuesday evening catching up with you. Have a great week and I’ll see you Friday! ❄🎄
Happy Tuesday to you! I'm glad you enjoyed the living room rearrangement. It's a work in progress. Sometimes living in a small home can feel a bit cramped so I try to make it easier to maneuver. I like the curtain clips, too, it does make it easier to open the curtains! I'm glad you are staying warm with your snowy weather. I hope your week is terrific, too, and I'll see you Friday!
Hi Sarah. I really enjoyed seeing the snow. I live in Phoenix Arizona and we don't get snow here. I am from Ohio and I do miss the snow. I love your red sweater you got from the thirt store. See you next time!
I'm glad you enjoyed the snow! I like the red sweater too, it's a fun pink-red color! Thank you for watching tonight. More snow may be on the way, if it is, I'll take more footage to share!
New subscriber here!!🙋 I've recently discovered your channel, and have been binge watching your videos. You have a very calming, peaceful spirit. Thank you!♥️
Welcome to the Channel! Thank you for subscribing and for watching my videos! I hope you enjoy my content. I usually post on Tuesdays and Fridays at 7pm Eastern. Thank you for your kind words!
When you hung your bags on the front door it made me laugh, so I'm not the only one lol! If I remember to take them in the store with me, now that's a different story.
Ha, I know exactly what you mean! Even though my home is small I still lose stuff in here! I'm trying to take the re-usable bags with me because the food pantry has to pay for the brown paper bags so I figure if it helps save a little for them, why not!
So nice rhat you have your cozy home. We don't need to worry whrn you're home in your snug little desk. Great haul since the food pantry was closed an extra day. Try not to stress over getting a video up on our account. We miss you but things happen, we'll understand. Take care during the upcoming storms.
Thank you so much! I know some folks really look forward to the videos and I try to stay on schedule as close as possible! Thank you for your words of encouragement. My little trailer can be a bit drafty but the more I caulk the seams, that does help. It's not a perfect home but I take initiative to make it a little better here and there and all those "little" things add up! I hope you stay safe and warm through the storm season, too.
Usually a quesadilla like that would sit on a bed of lovely Mexican rice and red beans and quesadilla sauce and at an Authentic restaurant in eastern WA would cost close to $18-20. So, $4.99 for just a quesadilla is really a fairly good price considering the rest can be made very inexpensively. I just arranged my front closet where all cold weather clothing , boots and shoes are kept for myself and my 3 girls. I also have a 3 drawer plastic shelf right next to the door with home-made antibacterial wipes, home-made antiviral spray and tissues in the top drawer. I keep all hats and scarves in the second drawer and all gloves in the third drawer. This ensures my kids can always find these items as they try to sneak out without them.
Your organization for your children sounds well thought out and practical! Affordable items like a plastic dresser can be so helpful. The quesadilla was good! The prepared food I get from the food pantry is a great treat because I would not be able to buy it at the store. I like trying new foods! The price stickers seem high to me but “normal” prices have changed a lot. Thank you for watching my video!
you may already know this but honey never expires. I used to work for a bee keeper and used to sell honey. It may crystalize, however, all you have to do is set it in some warm water, not hot though, and let it sit til it becomes runny again. Explorers found honey in an Egyptian tomb maybe 20 years ago and they ate it and they were fine.
Wow, Sarah, that's one of the best pantry hauls I've seen in a while...I made a 3 ingredient easy peach cobbler for a potluck using canned fruit from a food pantry...it was all gone 😊...those pinto beans would be really good with some corn bread and a side salad...I started a new medicine since being home from the hospital, $265 (down from $800 after insurance) for 30 day supply, I think I'll be relying on food pantry more than ever now, makes one wonder how people are going to fare this 2024...that petunia is lovely, a touch of spring during this cold winter weather, I'm counting down the days til spring, 63 more days to go, 18° in southern Indiana right now, was 4° this mirning...I'm glad u were able to post your video, I've been waiting all day...tfs, stay warm, and have a blessed week
Oh the peach cobbler sounds delicious! I like cornbread, that would be good with the beans, thank you for the suggestion! And you know I love making a salad. I'm so glad with your new medicine, that you have access to the food pantry, it's so important to use the resources needed to help make ends meet. When I first applied, I felt like I did not qualify, but then let the staff make their decision and I did qualify. Now I look forward to the shopping trips, because I don't know what surprises will be there for me! On the weather, 4 degrees is super cold, I hope you are staying warm and comfortable. The little petunia brightens up my home, and that plant came from the dump, amazing the things others decide to let go of! It brings me a lot of enjoyment. God Bless You and thank you for watching my video tonight!
Oh, poor Mr. Turtle! Before I go much further in the video I just wanted to tell you cause I haven't told anybody yet. I just worked out a deal for 40 boxes of pasta for 50 cents a box. I'm going to vacuum seal them up or put them in mylar bags for future use. 😊
Hi Sarah! 👋🏻 Time crunch and all, your video turn out great! I like the curtains on the rings and your thrifted shirt is very nice. All the snow made me shiver! We’re in the high 60’s. I’m so spoiled with the California weather. Stay warm, safe and healthy. Until next time. 😀❤️👋🏻 Judy
Hi Judy! I'm glad you have that comfy California weather! I actually enjoy Winter (I like watching seasonal changes). It reminds me of growing up and how it would snow every Christmas as a kid. Yes, those curtain rings are working out pretty good so far. I thought the rod might fall down due to the weight of the rings but it's holding up! I like the shade of reddish-pink from the shirt. Adding pops of color especially in the cold weather brightens up my day. Have a beautiful day, Judy!
Thank you very much! I enjoy bright colors in the Winter season, it makes the cold more enjoyable to have a pop of color from the top! Thank you for watching.
That's fun! You must have the best honey available! I'm glad I picked up the honey, although I was concerned about a "best by date", I'm glad to know that does not apply. Yay!
Native is a very good brand i've had a few samples from the company. And the only reason I have samples is because it's expensive. But I do like the brand. As always your meals look very good and delicious.
Thank you so much! I enjoy putting together quick meals. The body wash smells so good. Many products give me a headache but Native seems to have a better scent formula that works for me!
I don't think I've ever seen you mini fridge so empty! Lol! Glad you could get out to the pantry today with the crazy weather we've had throughout the country. Happy you have your pantry stocked too! Hope you are staying toasty warm Sarah! 21° here now going down to 12° tonight. Brrrrr!
Hi Chris! Oh yes the mini-fridge was getting bare-bones! Some jelly, chicken broth and coffee creamer, so glad it's much fuller now! The snow just made it more of a challenge but thank God the streets were clear and no power outages. 12 degrees is very cold, I hope you are staying warm enough to get through the cold spell, Chris. Have a great night!
It would be interesting to see what you make to eat on days when the food pantry is closed. Or maybe you pull from your stock pile? Either way I'd be interested to see
That's exactly what I do, if I don't get fridge food then I go right to my shelf stable items. Thank you for your suggestion, I'll try to make that video for you!
Hi, I just wanted to let you know they are doing a recall on spinach and salad kits by Bright Farms. I don't know if you have any of that but please check. I know you love to eat salads. I wanted to say I really enjoy your channel.
I don't know until I know, so I'm glad to learn these things, thank you for this info. I am happy I got the honey, it just looked so good! I feel like Winnie the Pooh!
Thank you so much! I was blessed to get all that I got. Yes, that honey is costly. I've seen that brand at the grocery store and a small jar costs a lot! I'm so glad I got the honey. Cannot wait to try it in my teas.
I Enjoy your videos 😉. Thank you for sharing. Also, what state are you in? I love the snow and we don't get any in Florida. If it snows again can you post it again please. ❤❤❤
Thank you very much for watching my channel! I'm in the South on the East Coast (although I don't share my state location I may do so in the future!) If it snows again I'll be happy to take more video to share with you. I've been to Florida and it's beautiful there but you are right, no snow in Sunny Florida!
I've had that brand before! It is wonderful. I don't think I've tried the night time one yet. Let us know what you think of it and if it helps you sleep!
Thank you! It makes me feel better getting it! I was trying to figure out the numbers on the label but did not know how to interpret the code. I'm so glad I got it. It should be wonderful in my teas!
Hi Sarah! It's nice to see another of your videos, it has helped me feel a bit better after a bad end to the day. I love your little trailer, it seems so cozy. I would like to live in something similar someday. I live in Arizona and we had a week of pretty cold weather, now it's getting into the 70s this week. Do you work? I don't currently work due to disability :(. I am trying to find ways to stay engaged at home when my daughter is at school for her half days. I hope you have a good rest of your week!
Thank you for watching tonight! I'm glad my video helped and I hope tomorrow is a wonderful day for you! I love my little trailer, too, it's been a great home for me. It's not perfect but it's still home and I am grateful for it! I'm glad your temperatures will be more comfortable for you. I put all of my efforts into the channel and hope to be able to have a consistent income from it. It might be a "long shot" but I'm willing to try! RUclips is a great resource to stay engaged as you say. Watching channels that are uplifting and make you feel good is important. Remember self-care is very important and occupying your time in a way that lifts your spirit is the way to go, in my opinion. Thank you for including my channel in your life. If you enjoy mobile home living channels, I'll add another Channel's link at end of the message for you to check out. If the link does not work the channel name is Kimi Cope. She posts new videos every day! Channel link: www.youtube.com/@kimicope_
Thank you, glad to know it! Sometimes when I'm shopping at the food pantry, I can't believe some of the products they offer. Including the honey! Cannot wait to give it a try.
I'm going to try to have the next video released on Friday Jan. 19th at 7 pm Eastern. Please turn on your notifications so you don't miss it! See you then!!!
I will be waiting, your videos are a pleasure
@@thelmacampbell2623 Awww thank you very much for saying so!
Honey is a "forever food" and will crystalize but shouldn't spoil 😊
Thank you! I'm glad I got the honey. I've seen that brand in the grocery store and the price is usually high. With the food pantry offering it was a real treat!
If crystalize just soak container in warm to hot water a little while, it will get uncrystalized.
Thank you for this info! That's what I do with coconut oil if it gets solid! Adding honey to the list.

I have always loved snowmen but oh a Snow turtle!❤ 🥰😍
Awww that’s cute! Mr. Turtle became a snow turtle!
Good evening everyone! Leaving my seven plus comments. Stay warm and safe.
Welcome and good evening to you, too! Thank you for watching, hope you enjoy it!
That Native wash is EXPENSIVE!! I bought a small sample for $2.99 at Walmart! Love it!
It does smell good! By the time I shopped in the personal care area, they had one bottle left and I'm glad I got it! Wow $2.99 is really high for a sample bottle. The cost of everything has risen so much. I'm glad the food pantry is available, it really helps.
I prefer the curtains with the clips. Seeing the snow made me cold lol. Mr Turtle needs a little raincoat and hood.😊
The curtain clips do help! Mr. Turtle does need an outfit!
I think the curtain rings are more practical, so you can open the curtain more easily. The shirt looks great, too. 😊
Thank you! Yes, the curtain rings are working out nicely. They have some weight to them but the rod is still holding up well. It has fallen off the wall before but so far so good! I'm loving the shirt, too! It's a cozy top and love the color.

Honey never actually goes bad. It eventually will crystalize. All you'll need to do then is to warm it up to melt the crytals.

Adding pops of color especially in the cold weather brightens up my day. Have a beautiful day, Judy!
The top was beautiful it looked good on you I liked your videos,
Thank you very much! I enjoy bright colors in the Winter season, it makes the cold more enjoyable to have a pop of color from the top! Thank you for watching.
God Bless you ❤
God Bless You, too! Thank you for watching my video. I hope you enjoy tonight's new video, see you then!
My husband is a bee keeper. Honey does not expire.
You can make hummus with the cannellini beans. There are recipes using peanut butter instead of tahini.
I love hummus, that's a favorite. Thank you for your suggestion. I never heard of using peanut butter instead of the tahini, I'll research it!
🎊 Food Pantry Day 🎊
Every food pantry trip is a blessing!
Best by dates are not expiration dates. They are still good.
That's true! I still rotate my food to use the oldest products first.
Honey never expires!
Thank you for sharing that info!
Honey doesn't expire but it will crystallize, but you can melt it to be liquid again.
Thank you! Good to know it. I'm happy I was able to get the honey from the food pantry. Rare find for me!
Do you get SNAP (food stamps)? You could use them for dried beans, rice, and pasta to extend your forever foods. Tina, Al's wife
Hi Tina! Not at this time. But you are right, if I am able to get EBT/SNAP then getting those "forever" foods would be wonderful!
Thank you for letting me know! I will check on the salad recall. I’m happy you are enjoying my channel, thank you for watching!
Hi! Honey is one of those wonderful natural foods that never goes bad. It might crystallize (if it does warm the jar up in some hot water).
I don't know until I know, so I'm glad to learn these things, thank you for this info. I am happy I got the honey, it just looked so good! I feel like Winnie the Pooh!
Been awhile. Back again. Let's see what ya get.
Thank you for watching my haul video, hope you enjoyed it!
Honey never goes bad! 🧡
Thank you! I am happy I got the jar of honey. It looks so good and I think it will be wonderful in my hot teas! Glad I got it.
What a great haul👍🏻 That honey is expensive!
Honey never expires.
Thank you! That's good to know. I was a bit concerned about not seeing a date. Now I know!
It says 08/ 25/23 but that’s a best by date. Honey is a forever food so it’s great.
Thank you! I'm glad I got it. I like the idea of "forever food"!
Honey does not expire. It may start to crystallize, but that does not mean it’s not good any longer. It’s just in a different form.
Thanks so much! Good to know!
Honey doesn't expire. Just warm it up to get rid of the crystals.
Thank you! I'm so glad ya'll know the things I don't! It's wonderful to gain more knowledge. I'm glad I got the honey, it's gonna be great!
I'm drinking Pukka night time tea tonight
I've had that brand before! It is wonderful. I don't think I've tried the night time one yet. Let us know what you think of it and if it helps you sleep!
Can't get a Quesod. for 4.99 anywhere. at least not in a mex resterant

Thank you for this info! I appreciate it!
