You have me craving quiche! LOL I just adore your plant table, I have some $1 marked down plants I have grown and helped thrive! Nice feeling isn't it? Great video!
The quiche has been fantastic! I hope to get more! Thank you, I love the plant table, too. It does feel good to help the little plants live. Excited the peace lily is coming back!
Hi Sarah! We had a snowy day here today. 9+ inches. I made Swedish meatballs over egg noodles for dinner. Perfect on a cold winter's night. Loved seeing your food pantry haul! See you on Friday!
Hi Chris! Wow that's a lot of snow, if I got that kind of snow, every thing would shut down! Swedish meatballs sounds fantastic. That is perfect on a cold night! Stay warm, and have a great evening, Chris!
@ragdollpreppers2648 I used a bag of Swedish style frozen meatballs. Beef meatballs work too. Sautee some chopped onion in a pot or dutch oven, add meatballs, 1 can of french onion soup or beef broth, and 1/2 can of water. Add a little nutmeg, black pepper, parsley flakes and a bay leaf. Simmer until meatballs are heated through. Add 3 tablespoons of flour to 6 to 8 oz of sour cream. Mix well. Add to simmering meatballs to thicken the gravy. If too thick, add water or broth. Taste for seasoning. Serve over egg noodles or mashed potatoes.
wonderful goodies from the pantry - the quiche looks so good. rough day - 3 hours in preop and 3 rounds of prep eye drops only to find the equipment needed was malfunctioning so sent home. no idea how soon equipment is repaired or replaced. so in holding pattern. we have rain coming tomorrow. take care, stay well and warm.
Hi Karen! Oh I'm sorry to hear about the equipment, but thank God they realized it was not working correctly. Virtual hugs! The quiche was really good. I like the size because it fits in the air fryer so well. I hope the rest of your week goes very well, Karen, and stay safe! God Bless You.
Hi Sarah! The rug as a bed cover is a good idea. The images look Southwest-Thunderbirds, perhaps? Sometimes plants just reach the end of their life span no matter what you do. I always feel guilty that a plant under my care has died. Another good video and haul. Thanks for sharing and take care. See you next time. 👋🏻
Hi Judy! Good point, maybe it is the mighty Thunderbird! I've not given up on the plants and hope they "wake up" soon. Maybe they are confused with the weather. It's that time of year where it gets sunny, then rains and such. I do hope they come back to life. Have a great night, Judy!
That ham sure was a great score. To prevent moldy bread, Iwill take my loaf bread and put 2 slices each in a ziplock bag and put in the freezer. Frozen bread toasts well or defrost for a sandwich. I think a shelf in the plant area is a fantastic idea. You are so creative and I love how you think out of the box. The rug on the bed is brilliant 😊
Thank you so much! I been thinking of getting a little mini-freezer and do like your suggestion to freeze 2 slices of bread at a time. I love the throw rug on the bed. It makes my room more bright! I'm looking for that shelf at the thrift store, I never know what I will find there!
Happy Tuesday! What a great video! The rug really matches the colors on your bed, it looks so pretty. I loved seeing your meals - the chicken was my favorite. Have a great week and see you Friday! ❄
Happy Tuesday to you! Thank you so much! I think the rug looks good on the bed also. The meals were wonderful. That chicken sure was good! I hope your week is great, too! See you on Friday.
That sounds great! I eat a scoop of peanut butter every day. The chicken meal was very good! I hope you have a wonderful night. And, thank you for having tea with me!

I have the same experience with bread molding quickly I get from the food pantry. We have those same pretty little blue flowers here in south East Tennessee. What state do you live in?
In the summer it's rough on bread I guess from the humidity. I get that mold that sneaks up on me! The little flowers are so cute. I'm in the South on the East Coast. I don't share my location right now just for privacy reasons, but might in the future!
Welcome to the Channel! Yes, the food pantry allows in-person shopping and I can choose items based on their rules. Some items fluctuate like vegetables. One week it could be 3 veggies, another week it might be 5, depending on inventory.
I feel bad that some of the items you get at times are bad. They really shouldn’t give people things that might make the sick and you shouldn’t have to eat something at your own risk❤I’m not blaming the food pantry. I’m blaming the stores that actually are aware that some of these items are not fit for human consumption.
Sometimes it happens! For the most part, the food is good, but it can become an eat at your own risk situation. I do smell food before I eat it. Once I got a lovely mini cheesecake that smelled off, so it had to go!
