This was a fun ranking video to watch. I’ve always had a problem with ranking franchises, especially the big three, because I love nearly all of them to death. For that reason, I prefer tier rankings. But this ranking was pretty cool. When it comes to the big three, I pretty much love all of them (except the Rob Zombie Halloweens and Halloween Ends). But even with the three I don’t love, I can appreciate something about them.
This is an interesting approach to a ranking video. While it may not take much time to explain the rankings, it does effectively use a montage to make all the films look their best. It feels more like a celebration of each sequel than a lament over their faults.
Lori’s “I am not leaving until I see him die” speech in FvJ will give you goosebumps…mostly because of that top button that Freddy cut off 😜 Nice list, D! 🫡 Top notch editing, I might add!!
Freddy vs Jason would have been much better if they had done these 5 things 1-Bring back Alice Johnson (Nightmare 4 and 5) and Tommy Jarvis as the protagonists instead of Lori and Will. 2-Keep Kane Hodder as Jason 3-That Freddy is just as dark as he was in the original 1984 movie. 4-Let the movie be a little longer... instead of lasting 1 hour 30 minutes, it should last 2 hours 10 minutes. 5- That the movie has a more terrifying and darker tone like the first 4 Friday the 13th movies and the first 3 Nightmare on Elm Street movies.
Just rewatched, your top 3 are mine. My brother actually sold his copy of OG Nightmare when I was 9 because he thought I was watching it too much so I got Dad to buy me VHS with some of my savings. Basically my brother was told don't mess with your smart little sister 🤣🤣🤣
@@bryanmack4054 yes! I felt his look was also his best. People take issue saying they broke t he rules making him in real world but I didn’t feel that way. He was trying to get back his abilities and possessing someone I felt added a good dimension to the character.
Freddy vs Jason is an entertaining guilty pleasure movie that knows it’s not meant to be taken seriously and has fun with it including the pin ball style sound effects during 1 action scene.

That is a great list Darren i would have a few different, but for the most part it is alot of what I think I would rank them. I actually enjoy the David Gorden Green trilogy quite a bit so I would of probably rated those lower. Great list Darren. Without a doubt though Nightmare 2 Halloween 1!

Not a bad list and ranking. I am surprised that Nightmare 2 is higher then Dream Warriors. Halloween Resurrection is by far the worst movie out of all 33 movies you ranked. I can’t argue with your top 2. Even though my favorite slasher is Freddy Krueger. But Halloween 78 is the one that started it all.
