    I LOVED the Game of Thrones and the Walking dead games! I was GUTTED when they didn’t release a season 2 for Game of Thrones. Does Gareth ever find the secret grove?! We’ll never know 😂

      @@Blue_Leafz yes I was never a huge fan of the Borderlands games, telltale made a great game with strong writing for it. I know borderlands 2 is held in high regards but I never really liked the art style to be honest.

    Fantastic video! 💯 I am a huge fan of Telltale Games. Telltale's Walking Dead franchise is my favorite fictional story of all time. I'm sad that Telltale went bankrupt because of bad management but I am glad that Telltale has another chance. The Expanse was a pretty good game. I really hope that Wolf Among Us 2 ends up being an absolute Masterpiece!

      Thank you so much! This comment means so much because I made this video hoping a tell tale fan would watch and enjoy it! This comment means a lot! Honestly, the walking dead first season, it’s not often we find an outstanding story in video games, and this was one of the best I have ever played! I was so immersed and cried at the ending. I remember getting it and I played Both season 1 and 2 back to back! No breaks! Once completed I felt like I’d been on an emotional rollercoaster! I even loved their other games though like GOT, etc. I honestly believe tell tale games are some of, if not the, best writers in video games. Every game they made really hit the spot and I played them straight through. I’m glad you enjoyed the expanse and I need to get to playing that one next! Thank you again! What was your favourite tell tale game?

      Yes and that is unfortunately a tale we hear far too often. The best games seems to come out when the studios have their heart and passion for what they do. Once money becomes the main driving force it all starts to reflect in their work.

    • @AVVGaming1
      @AVVGaming1  5 месяцев назад +1

      @@brianachim2670 honestly some of the changes that took place at the company just seemed so unnecessary! Especially with crunch deadlines for their work. They write stories, with a lot of depth, that requires team. If they rush that, the quality has to drop naturally, which then has a knock on effect and eventually lead where we knew it would. It’s a shame the video game industry almost always ends up with this.

      No which killed the replay value and made it all feel a bit redundant. They probably didn’t do much as they wanted to stick to the game of thrones story, but that’s why we play tell tale games is for the decision making. Besides that, the stories, voice acting were all absolutely top notch!

    Man TellTale is such interesting studio that I loved for a long time, but as I played more and more of their games I got tired of it. I've only cried a grand total of 3 times when playing a game, and the ending of the walking dead season 1 was the first time.
    I loved the walking dead season 1 but as time went on TellTale just really fell off. After awhile it all felt the same and not in a good way like how a studio can have their own style but they do improve on it as time goes on, TellTale felt exactly the same with no improvements at all. So yeah I stopped playing their games after awhile. I also started to find the whole episodic thing a bit annoying, I get why they did that to drum up excitement for the next episode, but I just want to keep paying and not wait a month for the next episode.

      @@TheMysterieRPGguy I’m 100% with you! The first walking dead was different. It was so well written. We all fell in love with Clementine and panicked when she went missing! We all cried at the end of the game. It won game of the year because it was different, special. The second season was good, but nothing was much different. It was the same game, but the story, whilst still good, was not as good as the first. The third was another step on and so on. They never left that comfort zone and it became stale after a while. They never tried anything new. Then Witcher 3 dropped in 2015. A game with even more decisions, with deeper consequences and a giant open world as well. Telltale did not continue to grow or expand, they stayed the same and when you do that, especially in this industry, you fall behind. As always, I agree with every point you make! Lol

      @@AVVGaming1 It's funny how we seem to be of one mind right, kinda scary almost haha.
      And yeah the gaming industry moves so fast you really have to keep up or you get left behind. We're kinda seeing that with Ubisoft as well, they can hold on for much longer because they are much bigger then TellTale but their games suffer from a similar problem, stagnation.
      They got their big open world Ubisoft style golden goose and they've been milking that ever since. To be fair though Ubisoft does occasionally try something new, but their games suffer from diminishing returns just like TellTale did.

    • @AVVGaming1
      @AVVGaming1  5 месяцев назад +1

      @@TheMysterieRPGguy yes with Ubisoft it’s a case of repeating the same formula over and over again. One big problem is their timeline on releases. They have to get these huge games out quickly with limited time. But they also suffer from bad writing with no depth. And the RPG elements aren’t there either. I think their peak was Far Cry 3 and maybe Odyssey? That would actually be a good video to do next. Just to explain why Ubisoft doesn’t hit the same levels of say a Skyrim, Witcher etc.
