This is such a badass scene. He totally takes out the firm by walking right in to the lion's den to deal with the Moroltos face to face. He was able to totally switch the narrative. Instead of him supposedly selling client secrets to the Feds, he's actually looking out for clients who have been cheated by the firm.
For those of you who don't know, the guy who plays "Tony" is Paul Sorvino, father of the Oscar winner Mira Sorvino, yes, that actress Mira Sorvino from the movie Mighty Aphrodite.

How it helps mitch from the firm not killing him?
Not exactly looking out for them. He made an offer they could not refuse.
"I think Ruth is right" is an underrated quote....it's just perfect.
True 😅
Perfect scene, camera angles, dialogue, acting, sounds, etc .... especially Ruth!
Joey was the embodiment of the good listener in this scene. The brains of the outfit no doubt.
Great movie that you can learn from, get them all back from all angles.
Once again, it all hinges on greed. Had the firm not tried to get away with overcharging, he wouldn't have been able to turn the tables on them.

One of my favorite scenes in that awesome movie! I likened this to the Feds bringing down murdering crime boss Al Capone on……tax evasion charges!
I will say this is my favorite scenes.
Strange that you _"liken that Al Capone tax evasion"_ angle when that was exactly what was discussed in the film.
How very prescient of you 🙄
Make movies great again
