Thanks! The supercharger is a 6502-1 Long nose with egr valve. If you don't have to smog your car you could get the non-egr style. The headers are coated SLP 1-3/4" ones. I'm not sure if they still make them. The supercharger kits are available from places like Jegs and Summit. You can visit the Holley website for more information on Weiand products. Sounds like you want to make a stroker 335 out of your 305? I know HotRod magazine built one of those years ago for an article.
@@19ADAM80 Oh, yes. I cut out an opening at the front of the air-cleaner housing to mimic the Scott-injector scoop on the Mad Max car I sealed it with honeycomb grill from a Fiero. You asked me about the breather.

I don't remember any vacuum lines to the transmission, only fluid lines from the tranny cooler. Shifted fine. Had to adjust the kick-down cable as it was stretched a few inches up and over to reach the Quadrajet atop the blower.
Did you put new internals(heads, pistons, etc.) on the motor for the blower? I have an Australian 308 V8 n would like to supercharge it in the future instead of swapping motors.
@@Talee_Gaming9602 Nice! I also added a Snow Boost cooler to inject water and methanol on the top of the blower. That prevents detonation and increases fuel octane. It also cleans the intake valves. Only use it above 3000 rpm at WOT.
No. Street-driven. 60 to 90 happens quickly with a whir of the blower. It's non-opped at the moment. Needs a fuel-pump. Don't relish dropping the exhaust and axles to get to the tank.

Cool setup. 10 years later whatcha working on?
Given the price of fuel and the threat of climate-change I have moved away from hot-rodding. I continue to maintain my daily-driver and my '72 Vega.

That was the whole point. A Mad-Max style power plant that is smog-legal for California.
Very nice, what part #'s? Id like to do a similar build for my 80 camaro 305. Only thing i want to try differently is a 6" connecting rod on it

Not much belt wrap, any slippage issues?
No. It has several grooves in it like a modern serpentine belt.
Where did you find your breather, or did you modify it yourself?
Thanks
The pcv breather is factory just with a small extension to the hose to reach from the air cleaner to the valve-cover.
@@MrSFSTUDIOS
Oh, guess I wasn’t seeing it right, looks like the bottom section of the breather was cut out so the air filter can get more air.

If you are worried about California smog, it may not work for that year. I think the kit was good for carbureted engines to 1986.
Maybe a torquestorm supercharger
