Just remember there are around 243,000 1969 Camaro’s made compared to only around 89,000 1969 Charger’s. So even if a Charger is rusty it’s definitely harder to ever come across one in the wild these days. Should always buy a charger when you see it. It will always sell.
you should save that old girl! love the CB content, almost scored and oldschool 750 chopper for $750, but alas, someone beat me to it and reposted it for $2500 without doing anything to it :'(
How much do these cars cost when you pull them out of the bushes? Or are the owners just happy to get rid of them? I am just curious. Do they get 500 or 1000 or 2000 bucks?
Thanks for the suggestion but the car had already run its course with the elements and rust got to it. under the dash, floor pans, trunk pan and quarters were hammered! Every square foot of the car had some kind of rust. The owner thought he had some barrel jackson high dollar car. Them silly guys, got to stop watching them shows.
Would someone call Mark Worman from Graveyard Carz in Springfield OR. He might just take this dead charger and resurrect it. Worman IS the MOPAR GURU. His crew can take this car from junk to treasure in about 1 to 2 years.
Every panel is rusted out. Auro Metal Direct makes everything, but everything would have to go. It would dissolve in the dipper. It's only value is what few parts can be salvaged.
That thing is pretty gone. I bet half would dissolve in the dipper. Looks like salvage what parts you can then lay it to rest. Definitely not worth 15k when you would spend 100k to rebuild it. And I say rebuild because too much would have to be replaced to call it a restoration. It's all rust.
You can see it's too far gome with rust. Even Graveyars Carz would write that off as a parts car. Not much salvageable though. It would dissolve in the dip.
yes, I believe it finally sold! took soo long because it was soo rusty! Some guy bought it for $13k and shipped to Texas where he soon after posted it for $25k
From the looks if the floor I have to wonder what is left of the frame. Take it to be dipped and half the car might dissolve. That's not a restore but a rebuild with all the metal that would need to be replaced. Mark at Graveyard Carz would probably think twice as to if it's worth it.
Please give the guy the $1,500. Last offer was a refusal at $1,200. Step up and stick $1,500 in his hand, drag it home and stick in in your garage. Like money in the bank or your future project. Win-win
@@KFLY67 Holy smokes ! My bad. $15,000 is waaay different. I have done some restorations and once you get into it it can get very expensive. You probably will dump 30 or 40 thousand dollars on top of your initial investment just to have a finished car for the price of one already done. $1500 would have been a lot better.
"paint just needs a little sanding" that was hilarious!
Rust bucket
Wow a nice survivor charger. So glad that the dukes didn't destroy this one.

It looks like half the car would dissolve in the dip but he'd be the guy to save it.
Whats the location on this car
Last I know the Car sold, it’s now in Texas and was listed for $25k! LOL!
Rest in peace.
Do not want to know the state of those floors...
The owner was like “ oh yeah they are pretty solid, just a small rust spot in the rear” LOL
The floors go on all of them
What a crime! My dream car :/
I would have snapped that up! It's easily worth 10k

It was a nasty rust bucket hince why I didn’t even buy the car. Sad. I really wanted it.
Save it before it sees the crusher
Rust!
That thing is so far gone with rust a good shock wave would dissolve it. Keep the boom boxes away from it.
Restore it if possible .....

Where they willing to sell it because I'm looking for a 69 dodge charger restoration car
