- 1968 Dodge Charger barn find!
Connor, myself and Shawn's son, pick up Shawn's 1968 Dodge Charger out of the back of old guys shop. Car has been sitting a very long time. We air up the tires, and trailer it home and get the engine running. Original 383 car, been swapped to a 440, auto, power steering, power brakes and AC car. Cool car, super fun adventure! These opportunities are getting more and more rare these days.
Omg. I think my heart skipped a beat. Beautiful car. I had on and sold it my first car. I was 16 and been kicking my self ever after. I'm 52 now
That’s one hell of a 30 year barnfind. Great color, vinyl roof and interior combo. Those bumble bee stripes just finish it off. Thanks for sharing, don’t see videos as good as this.
Good for him and his son! Nothing beats a new project, all the feels! Thanks for the video!
You bet! Yeah man this memory will live on with him and his son, glad we we're apart of it too.
Love this video. She's beautiful! Shined up like a new penny.
Thanks!
Wow what a gift! I know exactly what he's saying. He could have sold that car to anyone else and for way more I'm sure. That's a great man. He seen something special in your buddy and blessed him. Great video.
Buddy's a good dude, does a lot for other people so he deserves it no doubt.
@@HOUSEOFDULA yeah I could tell that just from that video. Funny how these cars find us. Love the content bro.
Can't get no better than this!! If you're ever in Dallas there's a spot with about 15+ classic cars in a garage covered in dust. I've been watching it since I was a kid. Most of those cars have never been moved.
I love me some classic cars...so nice..I watched it twice.
Sweet! Thanks man. Such a neat car.
Super cool video, always fun meeting the old guys with the cool stuff. Its awesome he let you record this.
Yeah, he was asked before I showed up and more than willing to let the cameras in on his property.
Brother you made out like a bandit. So cool. I had a 68 383 and a 70 Dodge Charger R/T with pistol grip shifter and Dana rear end. Love your channel. Keep up the good work.
Shawn is one lucky man . That older gentleman was a fine fella. Congrats Shawn on the greatest of molars ever built. I truly love it even with the interior
Mopars
Man the interior lol I dont know. He is lucky, hes building up a really neat collection and there is no denying the body style on this car.
Awesome video! One of my favorite cars. That joker looks amazing once cleaned up.
Not today, nor tomorrow... but some day. Good man, good project(way past a project!), nice family bonding. GREAT to see dreams getting acomplished. Will be waitin' for part 2!
What a find! Great color combo. Super clean. Love Conor!
wow ! what a good looking ride , and , the seats are not 'that' bad , lol
looks like it went to the rite home ...
The body lines of those cars are amazing. So cool, and you can tell that man loves his cars.
Oh yeah. Car guys here no doubt lol But for real the lines on a 68/69 Charger are even more appreciated in person.
Super nice car. Cleaned up well.
Great video, looking forward to seeing more on your coupe as well.
Cool you start out the video with a Mustang & a Torino then off to pick up a 68 Charger! It doesn't get much better than that!
Yessir! Good times.
Now find me one boss! Love those cars
Very nice barn find your fortunately lucky to find something like that one of a kind looks beautiful
That’s awesome!! Thats an amazing barn find.
Love the 68 taillights!
Awesome finds. That’s a barn a man could spend days in looking at the cool stuff.
Toyota Sequoia... Ray Ban edition. 😂
For real right!? lol Thing had enough glasses holders.
Love that green nova !
Ditto! One of my favorites of his.
60`s & 70`s American muscle cars have always been admired
Wow beautiful car , nice!
came up in great shape, what an awesome find
Man that thing was beautiful under that dust! The nova on the lift is sick too
Awesome content, keep it coming.
At first I was like what’s he doing? Then as the video went on I enjoyed it more n more!! Nice car!!
Appreciate it man!
Thanks for sharing 👍
Hard not to like any muscle car from the 60’s & 70’s
Such an amazing car!
That was amazing. Nice car
That is crazy!!
Just when I thought this channel could not get any better!!! MOPAR now your talking. I got Mopar taste but Ford pockets lolo. Very cool tho
Looked like a great day to get a cool car ! 😎
Hell yeah! I wish I had a project like that.
That's something really worth 😎👍
I love it I subscribed just because the 68 charger my fad had one just like it except it had black top and interior sweet car I would love to own it
Nice find..
Wow that was sweet find omg😳
You NEVER find one of these in 2021 in that condition..maybe in 1979 at a used car lot..the MOPAR fairy was under your pillow on this score.
No way! Not a big Mopar guy but thats a great find!
I agree. Neat car, mopar or not!
Does he have a channel? would love to follow more on that car
Nope. But dont worry, he'll be on here more, folling that cars build. Maybe help wrench on it.
@@HOUSEOFDULA sounds good. Thanks for the great content you put out
As Rod Stewart once said. Some guys have all the luck
No words, just 👍👍👍👍👍
SUBSCRIBED, VERY COOL....
Ur one lucky guy .
Damn that's sweet, what a find
Im not a car guy and Im watchin this cause Im a car girl.
Touche! Welcome car girl!
Nice!!
Dude, you could not have been more correct about those seat coverings. Even if they were brand new and had new car smell they would still have to go. :-)
lol
Dream car
Solid cars like that are rare finds these days. Fyi--all 68 Chargers came with bucket seats.
Good to know! Man, my knowledge on these mopars is limited.
@Mason George No its not. Again, not my car but was a fun trip to pick it up.
Just last week, I went and picked up a 1982 Mustang GT "barn find" that's been sitting since 1990. I'm making a video for it now.
Would love to see this. Whats you channel name Sean?
@@HOUSEOFDULA I'm not sure what channel I'm going to upload to yet. It'll either be this account or my "shop" account "Duggan Racecraft", I'll send you a link once it's up. Keep up the good content, I love your videos!
@@dugganracecraft Yeah man def let me know
@@HOUSEOFDULA here’s the link for it! ruclips.net/video/QgVjxlCtHpE/видео.html
@@dugganracecraft Sweet! Watching it now
Looks like it comes with a bottle of Makers Mark on the center console 🙊😎ride
The "old guy " did a nice job of lookin gafter his car.
I pray i have extra $$$ money for a car like that
Leave the interior it's pretty awesome!
I love it ive always wanted a 69 dodge charger rt my favorite year
We're watching this to see if you're going to screw up this car or not?If it's a 383 magnum car. Change the 440 out for the period correct 383 magnum motor. If you wanna keep any of the value to the car. I would take it in a much different direction to upgrade it. But that's just my opinion. Good luck guys.
Thanks Earl, I need to do a follow up video on it. Hes added nice coilover suspension, front and rear and big brakes, with some 18" black Aodhan's on it
I beleive its already a 440 swapped car, but its a little tired
Reminds of the BULLIT charger!
God bless all of you.7 something time pm
Ya a 68 is the year I'd like above all other Chargers. Something about those round tail lights and how the rest of the car fits with that arse. Congrats. Take one of them and screw the vin numbers and do it UP the way you want... keep the other all original but.. ya. lol
how much did he pay i never caught that part of the video
OMG 😲
where in TX?
Where are u guy located
Mopar love
Barn finds, barn finds, find me one. I’ll pay a finders fee.
I know right. All about networking it seems, finding someone who knows someone type thing. Hes great at it, Im not so much.
I would not touch that interior it matches the time of the resto . and shows its survive ability sweet.
Exactly
Great! no more fox bodies
Oh no, no, no lol Sorry. Im a car guy, love all american muscle. We'll follow his build from time to time, but this channel has ford centric on the projects.
home plate is a pentagon not a diamond the field is is the dieamond
I wish I could find a charger in a shed some where. Its unlikely as I live in london in the uk and i dont have a shed.
Id dye that interior.. make it black..
That top actually looks painted on, I dont know if thats actually vinyl....after that amount of time sitting...i dont care where you live there is going to be discoloration of some sort
how do people get so lucky? i dont get it. And we dont want to watch your 15 minute ride over there, we just want to see the car.
Once word gets out, many dollars will be knocking on his door!
the 68 Charger in my pic can be forsale, 35K
35,000K = 35,000,000
@@jw11432 my bad. opps please forgive me it was early in the morning.
@@gonzo5912 lol all good bro, figured it was a mistake, just pointing it out for you. 👍
What's that?Is that a Toyota towing the most revered of all AMERICAN muscle cars of all time?.......Just doesn't look right. The American auto manufacturers build the best trucks on the planet....It would look much better pulling that Charger around with a newer 2500 series 6.4L Hemi Ram.
do not molest that one.
Probably got it for next to nothing .
No he paid for it...that being said compared to current 1968 Charger prices he did get a deal yes. But these are cars are insanely high priced and always will be
Damn, I wish I had made better career choices. I'll never be able to afford one. I'm way too much of a loser. Nice car. Good find, man.
Hell me neither! lol but my buddy owns a roof company and works hard, deserves this car, hes still enjoying it.
