Extreme Cleaning of Smelly Dyson Cordless Vacuum (V10, V11) Disgusting but finally disinfected

- I figured out an extreme way to clean my Dyson Handheld Vacuum. It smelled really bad no matter how clean I got the filter and dust bin so it had to be done.
The part I dunk in water has a lot of crevices. Look inside the holes and make sure there aren't any giant hairballs because those you will need to pull out with tweezers or something.
This video just shows how I cleaned my Dyson and I do not and am NOT recommending anyone to do the same. This video is just for entertainment purposes.
This is an effective method for cleaning the vaccuum. No other way to eliminate the smell. Large balls of lint and hair develop throughout the device which prevent dust from being pulled all the way through. So long as you wait for everything to dry, there really is no issue cleaning in this manner.
I had to use long needle nosed pliers to pull out the fur balls cause it smelled so nasty even though I washed it 3 times. Not included in video cause I didn’t know at the time. It’s kind of a terrible design that makes me wonder if they have built in obsolescence to make you upgrade
This is the only way to clean the Dyson really well and to get rid of the bad smell.
I disassembled the Dyson like you showed in your video. In mine, it is full of massive dust powder - I had to wash it couple of time to remove all of the mud that become of the heavy amount of dust. That was the only way - or else buy a new one.
Isn't this crazy that there is no normal way to clean the inside. All that dust, mostly dead skin cells, is combined with the oils in our skin and probably general humidity that ends up sticking to the inner walls of the Dyson. Glad my video was helpful and thank you for your comment.
@@vthoughtproject Well, Dyson is the best vacuum i had. But when I saw all the dust stuck inside the main core tube and that it's not cleanable. I realized that many ppl throw away their old Dyson and buy new one. That exactly what I had in mind. But following this genius video I made mine clean and fresh. Just make sure to dry it really way. And of course pay attention - no warranty for that action - but mine was expired anyhow.
Stinkiest thing has to be the exhaust HEPA filter. Clean that good with dish soap first and dry thoroughly before using again
Thank you for your comment and I 100% agree. I had a bunch of these that were returns from Best Buy and what I think happened is that people buy them but don't clean them regularly. I mean basically just empty them out after each cleaning. It takes 2 minutes and they will be fresh and clean for a long time. Most importantly make sure everything is super dry before using
I've cleaned the filter with everything under the sun and to no avail. Which could only mean the source of the smell is originating from within the vacuum. I'm too afraid i'll break it if i open it so I'm thinking of just returning it and purchase a vacuum that won't have this issue in the future
Oh yeah, if possible returning it is the preferred way to go. They should not have made it so that it has these nooks and crannies inside that can trap junk and smell@@Dabby724
