Haha, yes it is. I have upgraded to 32GB of ram but other than that nothing. Between the software fix and the "feet" that I added I don't get any fan or overheating problems.

Isn't this crazy that there is no normal way to clean the inside. All that dust, mostly dead skin cells, is combined with the oils in our skin and probably general humidity that ends up sticking to the inner walls of the Dyson. Glad my video was helpful and thank you for your comment.

@@vthoughtproject Well, Dyson is the best vacuum i had. But when I saw all the dust stuck inside the main core tube and that it's not cleanable. I realized that many ppl throw away their old Dyson and buy new one. That exactly what I had in mind. But following this genius video I made mine clean and fresh. Just make sure to dry it really way. And of course pay attention - no warranty for that action - but mine was expired anyhow.

You have to aerate your lawn which involves punching holes in it. Extreme cases like my lawn, I am just digging it up and replacing it with new sod. Thanks for your question.

You're welcome, I hope it helps. I use to mistakenly think a laptop meant I could put it on my lap or in bed on top of a blanket covering the vents. I stopped doing and added the risers that helped keep my laptop from overheating. The term laptop is misleading imho

Not trying to get more views or anything but check my other video on a potential software setting for windows that causes the fans to run all the time. Might help and thank you for your comment. Maybe leave the camera on and do a live stream of your cat during the day :)

One can only think that maybe Dell wants our laptops to fail or us to upgrade. Your laptop can run hot for a year or two and degrade at a faster rate in that time till one day it breaks and you have to pay money to buy a new one.

Thank you for your comment and I 100% agree. I had a bunch of these that were returns from Best Buy and what I think happened is that people buy them but don't clean them regularly. I mean basically just empty them out after each cleaning. It takes 2 minutes and they will be fresh and clean for a long time. Most importantly make sure everything is super dry before using

I've cleaned the filter with everything under the sun and to no avail. Which could only mean the source of the smell is originating from within the vacuum. I'm too afraid i'll break it if i open it so I'm thinking of just returning it and purchase a vacuum that won't have this issue in the future

Oh yeah, if possible returning it is the preferred way to go. They should not have made it so that it has these nooks and crannies inside that can trap junk and smell@@Dabby724

That sucks. Did you by any chance check out my other video for a software fix. Windows 10 has this one issue which causes the processor to run at 100% for even small tasks thereby causing it to overheat and run the fans. Which OS are you using? Also if you haven't, try running through the steps one more time from the beginning

Click on the windows version. I am using a Mac right now and it shows my Mac version and says no downloads. As soon as I click the drop down and select windows 7, 8, or 10, I see the download

Not if the fan and insides are clogged with dust and crud. Also a reset won't help if the vents are blocked from air flowing freely. In my video, this was a new laptop with nothing but Word, Safari, and Avast on it. The fans still drove me crazy. This solution helped immediately but problem still persisted and as I explain in my other video it was a setting in Windows that caused the fans to run 24/7. I appreciate the suggestion as there are cases where you are correct and doing a "factory reset" helps but people keep in mind this will wipe everything out so make backups first :)

Hello, try cleaning the laptop if the insides are clogged with dust or you can perform a factor reset. Sometimes having too much software bogs it down. Otherwise it might just be time to upgrade your laptop cause it can't handle newer Windows and newer software. Let me know if any of these suggestions work and good luck

I wish I could say I am surprised but I kid you not when I describe how Godaddy didn't have a single qualified person I could talk to when I had my issues. Immediately switched all of my domains and hosting elsewhere.

Which windows version do you have?

​@vthoughtproject I've been having the same issue with windows 11, there's no option for additional power settings in the power settings. I'm on version 23H2

Disregard the previous comment, I found a workaround! Using the Control Panel and clicking View By Small/Large icons, you'll be able to access the Power Options from there.

Also the noise level doesn't seem linear so that 50% reduction feels like you finally stepped out of the wind tunnel doesn't it :)
