Having a moose show up at the dam just as you get your bow built is such a great feeling.
Having the exact number of days show up like that on the screen has GOT TO be a good omen :D

hell yeah - congrats on the early moose! I’m watching these vids whenever I find service while hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, and the moose battle was so entertaining during a lull of the trail. the one thing that may get me off trail is my desire to play TLD again lol, but this series is helping me get my TLD fix. to day 500, buddy! -Donks

@@davidnjara yess the whole dang thing! whenever I eat a granola bar, I think of my little food meter going up - or my fatigue meter going down quickly during a big climb lmao

I don't have the game yet so sorry if this is a stupid question, but can you fall through the muskeg in this game? IRL, muskeg is very similar to a pete bog and can swallow up heavier unsuspecting animals like horses and cows.
Its frozen over - but you can fall through the weak ice! You immediately get out of it but you lose some health and get instant hypothermia.

Is it true you get more warmth bonus from drinking tea in cover from wind?
So I play pilgrim, because I always find myself struggling to balance all of the essentials required to stave off wildlife. What would your advice be to somebody who struggles with carrying all of the essentials without always being overweight?
Depends, do you mean to scare off wildlife or to take them on? Bow and arrow are lighter, but not as easy to use as firearms. Revolver is best used as self defense against wolves, but can be used to bleedout wildlife in a pinch. A flare is always good to have, as it is a wind proof torch for emergencies. A hatchet to deal the most damage against wolves in struggles.
