    Gorgeous flower. Thank you for sharing your great, flowing and detailed technique to create it - One botanical comment - Dahlias don’t have small fern like fronds with symmetrical 2 sided projections. Your other larger leaves were beautiful, but for dahlia lovers, the frond thingies would be a little confusing…

    With your tutorial, my dahlia turned out well, after a couple of failures following another artist. But I couldn't achieve that beautiful cafe au lait color you describe. Could you please advise how to mix paints to get this color? Also, should the petals dry before I paint the second layer? Thank you for this beautiful tutorial, Olga.

    • @olgakoelsch
      @olgakoelsch  Месяц назад

      Hi Yulia! Glad it was helpful! Just experiment with your pink and orange paints and water amount and you will find your best mix! To make more define petals, it’s better to dry the previous layer

    So beautiful! You list the Princeton brush but what is the quill that you are using? Thank you.

      I use Søstrene Grene very often, but they might be not available worldwide, so I could recommend Princetone as they are very good as well!
