we're leaving Los Angeles, and honestly it was the best thing to do for my mental health. Los Angeles, was truly a chapter in my life solely for isolation and revealing what needs to be healed. while i'm not fully healed, i can say that i've grew such a profound level of emotional intelligence and self love for myself.
many days and nights were spent alone. for someone in an isolation season in their early twenties? whew, not for the weak. it really changes you in so many ways. i'm so grateful for the friends and memories i was able to experience there. LA will always have a special place in my heart as it's helped me grow so much. still, it's not my favorite place for long-term living, so i'm excited to see what LA has to offer on a more touch-and-go basis in the future.
this is your sign: if you're living in a city that you deeply feel no longer serves the chapter of your life you're in, make that move. don't want another second longer. you, your physical, spiritual and mental health deserve to be placed in easeful environments that help calm your nervous system.
