    The road venture is a great tire on and off road. Unfortunately i could not find anywhere selling a new set so i had to go with something else. Im in bakersfield also.

      @expresscarreviews thanks for the coffee invite and ill be sure to check out the video also. I also like to do offroading camping around kern county. Some good places nearby.

    I think you should just fix the trunk latch regardless of it keeps breaking. I say fix it once and if it breaks again then use the strap to unlatch the hatch.

      @@aidanm7462 yes, the trunk latch is working at the moment. The strap is a backup to save me some hassle in the future if it occurred to me

    And the rear hatch will always break at the worst time.
