I guess some people are just naturals at their craft or it’s in their genes. I heard that being a theater major in college for example doesn’t necessarily make you a better performer. It’s probably lots of theory in college. But that’s true for many professions.
The editing was just marvelous, Her is a masterpiece of film making. Okay a little too hyperbole. Her is incredible film making and the editing is aces!!
finally people who understands the movie. I've watch another interview where a woman thought it was just about a man falling in love with a software, which is very superficial and not in dept.
I thought she was a good fit. She probably didn’t have to memorize her lines since she wasn’t actually on screen ( she could read her part from a script). But she surely had to put in much practice time in developing her character and her tone, intonations, and enunciations.
Considering the role was based solely on her voice and not even in the sense of having an animation to accompany her lines, I'd say she did a pretty good job
Here is a fun fact:
Spike Jonze never went to film school
Even funnier fact: He co-created Jackass and is the old lady from those films..
Spike is awesome at everything he does including music videos too

Most of the best film directors didn’t go to film school.
I want to see Scarlett talk about how she approached her character. Such a great and moving performance.
I would have loved to see the full unedited version of 'Her'. I really want to see Chris Cooper's character!

Hi That's not hyperbolic at all. Her is indeed a masterpiece.
HER deserved all the awards on that edition. It is the best movie I have ever seen.
the video game description sounds like the inspiration for the film arrival

Wish I could have 20 minutes talking to Spike about this movie. I have questions, sir. Unanswered.
We all know why you captured Shanghai🙃🙃❤❤
Haha! "Change", the narrator says. Something completely irrelevant to what Spike is talking about.
I thought she said 'Thanks'. Kind of absurd as well.

It was good. Not the greatest, but it was very good.
