    Just for the record lenox oaks is in a nice area. You can call it River Oaks/ Upper Kirby. It's right off 59. The street It's on Drexel goes right to Westhimer's River Oaks shopping center. It is actually right down the street from Wesleyan where Alexan River Oaks is at. Just clarifying for those that want to be in the area lol.

    I had a very bad experience at La Maison. And I’m sure what happened to me has happened to others bc they say it’s protocol but googling someone’s job instead of going by what’s on the application is not nobody’s protocol. I couldn’t still moved there but I cancelled bc I refused to be treated like that. Alexan Memorial was one of my favs too.. lol they almost got me too but I found better. Loved the video😊

    This video was very informative and helpful! I looked at places outside “the loop” like in the suburb woodlands area. But I feel like it’s far from a lot of things.

      Thank you so much for watching. I actually lived in the woodlands when I was searching for apartments in this video. I loved living there but it is definitely a slower pace, further from the city and family orientated. You do save money though so it all about what you like. I vote the city though. ☺️

    My favorite part was your dog Storm. He was like "Whaddaya gonna to do about it?"

    so if 2 people apply at the same time and they take the other person's application and not yours, do you get your Administrative Application Charge and Application Charge bACK?

    • @beingsalinya
      @beingsalinya  9 месяцев назад +1

      I feel like the leasing agents try to be quick with looking over the applications and are mindful of the apartments they show you and let you apply for so it is not doubled up. Usually if someone else has the apartment you might be able to apply for another one because the application fee is for the apartment as a whole. I'd ask your leasing agent of the apartment just to clarify. 🙂

      A lot of people live in the med center for convenience or live in surrounding areas like River Oaks, Memorial City or surrounding suburbs. The further out of the city the more money you are likely to save. Hope this helps.

    • @raulaldape7845
      @raulaldape7845 10 месяцев назад

      Do not move to the med center, while it may be “convenient” the prices are insane and the crime is even worse. One of the areas with the most amount of crime. I work in apartments in River Oaks and they’re built like a fortress quite literally for that reason.

    This is the one hunderdth video I see on Houston apartments..... Reviews and news channel clips are basically telling me not to move there due to crime.

    • @beingsalinya
      @beingsalinya  Год назад +6

      I personally think any major city has crime. It is just important to do you research to pick the best area for you to live in. I have felt very safe since moving back to the city. 🙂 I hope you find the best neighborhood for you!

      @@edgu71eg I live in the Katy/Fulshear area and it is very safe! It is far from everything inner city though. It does have everuthing you need in this area though. I work from home so it doesn't bother me! I get out on the weekends!

      @@citgotv1885 Yes it Is. Certain parts of course can be worse than others. But that's anywhere you go in the city.
