I have the same question, although yesterday I made a 4 hours search for the answer on the net, found out that maybe You cannot use it, because its chip not supports USB clienting like R2 and R1. I ordered a Leonardo instead.
@@bossoy0769 I have both, I used Leonardo for Pedals and H shifter and The uno for this steering using a potentiometer, some gears to get 900 degree rotation. I went to Forza and clicked Mapping option. It works 👍
@@bossoy0769 I think it actually works with any Arduino. I believe as long as the board supports analog read from the potentiometer, instead of using UnoJoy you can use vJoySerialFeeder to simply read an arduino analog output through the USB and emulate the analog into a vJoy input, then that vJoy input then can be used in X360CE so it'll work in literally any game that supports a controller. With this approach instead of the Arduino being an HID device directly and the game reads it, the input serial analog data simply passed through a third party software that emulates a controller that can be read by the game. Also I see no disadvantages to this other than having to click extra steps whenever you want to use it so, correct me if I'm wrong and this idea has any flaws or something. (Yes I did tried it with my CH340 knockoff Arduino CH340 board).

It's due to bootloader issue. Use another uno which has bootloader to burn bootloader
