Awesome build, I have seen similar using laser cut and machined parts, this is the real DIY deal. Very well done!!!
Thank you very much!
A DIY sequential shifter would be great to see. You are awesome.
Thank you, I'll try to make one
@@AllenResalamsir plz is there any possible way to contact you
Bro my only question is how that slip ring mechanism work i mean dont you need wires for paddle shifters??
Good JOB! Good music~
There is no shadow in BEAMNG?
Thankyou! beamng got a lot of bugs, sometimes shadows or texture wont work
This is amazing, if you do another version, for a smoother feel try re-designing your paddle shifters so the magnets push away from each other instead of pulling together.
I knew that in g29/g920 the zone with no Force Feedback (10° right and left) are caused by it having 2 motors, that have to "coordinate" first before apply force. The T300 instad, doesn't have this problem because it's belt driven and with only 1 motor.
So what about yours? Does It have an initial dead zone?
Mine does not have any initial dead zone
Bro design is improving a lot I hope to see more in the future! I wish you all the best and hope that one day you could start your own pc racing wheel company🔥
Thank you soo much 🙏
Love the Slip Ring! Good job!!
Thank you!
Hii bro, how did you purchase the pro version of EMC.
I buyed the stm32f401 Asseln it should arrive tommorow can you Explain where You connected the bts 7960 Pins to? Im Talking About the l pwm, r pwm and the l and r enable Pins
Nvm i was looking at wrong schematic😅
So, coming from a G29, I am tempted to start building one of these... which of your desings would be better than the g29 in your experience? I'd rather do the simple one you posted before... Thanks!
I highly recommend you to try this model as it's more powerful and durable compared to my previous models
@@AllenResalam Thanks! And sorry if someone already asked, but how long did it take you to assemble? (I will multiplty that by 10 probably)
It took me about 3 months to plan and 2 weeks to build including filming
which controller you used? I see in video stm and also Uno?
Only stm32
Can Arduino Leonardo be used?@@AllenResalam
Is the Force Feedback is hard enough? For drifting use and also, how does it cost for 1 setup? Base, Pedals & Shifter if u can do it.
yes it got enough Force for drifting and whole setup costs less than 200 $ in parts
Hey Allen, is it possible to use the same STM board but in a combination with a VESC controller to drive BLDC motors?
you need to ask that to the EMC developer on Facebook facebook.com/EMCDeveloper/
Which is better for you, old or new? you are the best in this field 😊🤯
why do you have two motors in this model?!
Definitely new model for me, its much harder to build , that's why i made the old one so that people with limited tools can make it .
@@AllenResalam thanks bro 😀
@@AllenResalamI can make the old model but with stm32f? Is a bit cheaper
Hey! man really impressed by your work. I have a question that stm32 board require stlink to load firmware. So in this board you using , you also used st link orr just plug into your computer and load it??
You don't need stlink for this specific board, just plug with usb c type and upload firmware
Can you tell me what is the rated output torque of your build and also mention the rpm .
Also I am very confused about what is the desired rpm for drifting. Is 400 rpm is enough for ffb wheel.
i didnt calculate the torque but i can say its good enough (2 motors pulls 15 amp at 12v),
also rpm doesnt matter .
Thanks for that. Also can you provide me a link to the wiring diagrams of stm32f401.
It would be helpful providing wiring diagram, and how to boot, files used for STM32 F401CCU6.
You know that you First Need the Firmware Right? You Need emc pro it costs 10 Dollars gives you the wiring schematic and Firmware and documentation
@@AbdülkerimYilmayan firstly I don't realised, after started to build i understood. Thanks
@@vijayanand6724 ok
Nice Work ive come across an issue that the ffb gets randomly lost when i use it did you experience this aswell ?
Make sure there is no loose solder
Can u give complete cirut diagram
Can this work with the arduino nano instead of the stm32 board?.... great work!
No
@@AllenResalam ok thanks
Hi, great project, but how did you drill the holes through the 12mm solid rod?
using a regular drill with 3mm steel bit
Will the slip ring machaism work with USB Jystick Encoder? Just want to know.
Im not sure
if im using 24v 250watts 14A ebike motor for ffb can i use 24v 360watts 15A powersupply? AND is IT good or something bad happen like high temp or heat im using 2 bts7960 driver
Yes the power supply will be enough but i would recommend a car battery of min 35 Ah for the ebike motor and the motor driver can handle it fine, just use heat sink and fan for cooling
@@AllenResalam what volts for fan?
12v pc fan
Inertia should be playing the biggest role here , note the ffb isnt that strong your wheel must be smaller in diameter and using wood for it is just heavy could kill the ffb
nope, im using ffb at 40% power and its still more than enough
Do you think it's better than a Logitech?
Hi, why did you change the threaded rod that you used in previous build?
it was wobbly and not durable at all compared to a 12mm solid steel shaft , also a perfect fit for the pillow case bearing
The spline setup is much better! More on par with the spline in a real transmission, at least for strength
@@AllenResalam I followed the steps in your first video and used an 8 mm threaded rod. Do you think that if I change to an 8 mm steel rod it will be more stable? I don't want to change all the bearings :c
Video maravilhoso 👏🏼 parabéns grande projeto!
obrigado :)
Hello, I would like to know what is the funcionality for the slip ring mechanish
for unlimited rotation, otherwise the paddle shifter wire will tangle
a question, is this new card ( STM32F401CCU6 ) better than leonardo?
Far better
MUITO BOM FICOU FANTASTICO
could you leave the link where you bought it. very good your video

for a DIY build I would much rather use this than a Thrustmaster t300 servo base as it has dual motors for one and honestly the build quality of the 300 isnt much better than this DIY version lol
Hey brother, how much power do you use for 2 motors?
Max 15 Amp at 12v
youre the best one here , i loved the slip ring mechanism
Thankyou!
Great job! What are the resistances you use?
4.7k for encoder and 10K for pedals
@@AllenResalam thank you so much! Keep sharing your awesome work!

Thankyou and good luck with your work!
can i use 400 ppr encoder btw nice work

Men its that possible to make it without 3d printed parts? I dont have 3 printer and if a gonna rent one in cost more than a logitech string wheel
you can try online 3d print services or you have to use your imagination to find alternative parts
@@AllenResalam ok thanks
Hi
I have question
Is this wheel 900 degrees?
And can i connect a H shifter to it?
It's range is from 5 to 2000 degrees
Yes you can connect an H shifter, I'm working on it
@@AllenResalam Thankful . Can I set it to 900 degrees myself?
@@AllenResalam good work
Yes you can set to any degree in software
Bro can we use STM32F103C8T6 board instead of using STM32F401CCU6 board because i already have STM32F103C8T6 board inhand.
yes but its older and uses old version of EMC
@@AllenResalam thanks bro also can we use potentiometer with gear instead of rotary encoder cause its expensive
No potentiometer wont work
@@AllenResalam Bro also can you make a video of programming the board.Thank you
Connection with stm32 link plzz
i was also trying to make this project but suffered a problem where i live stm boards i cant find an where so is there any alternitives for that edit: i found one but can i use it STM32F103C8T6 also is the encoder incremental or absolute PLEASE ANY BODY REPLY
yes you can use STM32F103C8T6 and the encoder is 600 PPR 2-Phase Incremental Optical Rotary Encoder
Bro can i order it please iam love with it i will pay how much u want ❤❤ Great work
Are u malayali😅
Also new subscriber ❤❤🎉🎉🎉
yes bro im malayali but sorry i dont have time to build and sell them atm
Bro can we use 6v dc motor for ffb
Bro share the circuit diagram pls
Is it possible with Arduino Mega 2650?
No
Bro ware i get programming from stm32 ?
how well would it work with 60 teeth pulleys instead of 100?
less torque and more current draw
@@AllenResalam oh but I can't find any 100 teeth pulleys on Amazon does the old design also use 100 teeth pulleys?
how much was the total cost of the whole project, and how much would it cost if I don't wat it to be quick release and will it work with forza horizon
1.about 100 USD without 3d printed parts
2. yes it will work with forza , use forzaEmu
Hey Allen. Will it work for PS4 as well?
Only pc
Is the firemware same with your old project?
No it's Emc pro firmware
How much torque u get ?
I need some help sir..im getting problem with the forcefeedback motor.
What is your issue
Why did you use that rotary encoder
One more doubt , i.e.
Is this the direct drive strings wheel or it is like Logitech one
How will we get vibrations of forse feedback
Because I didn't see any other dedicqted motor for vibrations?
it is the best quality and accurate encoder for the price. this is like Thrustmaster T300 but dual motor and those motors do all the FBB work
bro, is rs775 strong enough for feedback steering?
yes
@@AllenResalam but anothers said that motor scooter is better. bro
you can use any motor according to your need
Has anyone bought this project?
If you want to sell this, How much would you sell for it?

the idea is nice, but ugly AF. just a thin wet sandpaper and then spray paint:( instead of that wood why not print the wheel too? or use another wich can be sand down and spray painted. i think the case is too much thick. well finally works fine and that's the important part.
