I just found your “other” channel from Hoof GP. My heritage is Scottish/Irish. Watching this video made my heart sing. I felt exhilarated! I felt a sense of pride & belonging. Keep up the wonderful work showing us your love of Scotland! ☺️
Just when I think Scotland couldn't get any more beautiful, you show another part. Stunning, just stunning. Your boys are pretty awesome too, Mrs HGP must be pretty proud of all of her boys😊
So happy that you're able to spend time with your family. Your Mom is so cute! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your family time. Now go enjoy them. We can wait.
Hey GP, it kinda pissed me off that YT has demonetized most of your videos. I was thinking you’d be properly compensated for the amount of views you have. Plenty of people love videography, but not everyone pulls in a half million plus views per video. You’re content is special.
LOVE THIS VIDEO AND YOU AND YOUR FAMILY IS SO ADORABLE!! ALSO PLEASE TELL YOUR WIFE THAT I LOVE THE COLOR OF HER HAIR AND ALSO SHE IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!! 💗💗💗💗
Beautiful country. Especially with the Fall colors coming in. There are no bad day, only sunny days and not so sunny ones. As Always, May God Bless you and yours!
I LOVED this Graeme! Thanks for sharing, I'll probably never make it there so loved seeing it. Your drone footage is amazing, loved the autumn colors of the trees.🍁🧡🍂
I live in the USA. 20 years ago I was able to travel to Glasgow. For 2 glorious weeks I traveled north to Skye, on to Wick and down to Edinburgh and back across to Glasgow. Braveheart was one of the sites along with Sterling Castle on my exploration! I loved every minute! I left a piece of my heart in Scotland when I returned. I may never be able to go back now but I appreciate you sending beautiful sites of Scotland so I can still see it!! Thank you ever so much!!
I actually put my phone down and went and watched this one on my computer. 😍😍😍 Scotland is truly beautifully!!! And if course, you did a great job on the videography. 😁😁. Congrats on the new computer!!!
@@renegademermaid1806 I'm part Scottish, and my wife is Irish. I have been to Aberdeen, but it was in February. I did enjoy the food. It's been about 20 years though. And I'd love to go back with my wife.
Just goes to show how little history of each British nation is taught across Britian, I hadn't a clue there was a monument or that it was in Stirling!? Looks stunning and it's definitely on my bucket list!
Your countryside is stunningly beautiful! The interactive learning opportunities in the monument are amazing. Thanks you for sharing part of your country’s historical locations and I hope you and your family have a wonderful get-away. 🥰
Truly beautiful scenery, did mum take lots of cakes with her to share? And after all those steps up the Wallace monument someone should put a slide down the outside.👍
Ah, Scotland is so lovely. Thank you for showing us the monument. I likely won't make it to visit even though I would love to. I'm glad you took the family on a historical holiday!
As usual, another great video Graeme! Really enjoyed the visit with your family to the monument & the history lesson too. Beautiful views, always appreciate your photography! 👏🤩
Scotland looks amazing. When I get the chance to visit I will visit the Wallace monument, it looks so beautiful. Maybe you could be mo tour guide😁😁😜😜. Thank you for all the amazing videos 👍👍
The scenery is absolutely spectacular. Hope you and your family have a lovely vacation. The weather looks lovely on the day you visited the monument. We got our first bit of snow today...so not ready to transition into winter weather yet.
What incredible beauty. Thanks for sharing. As an armchair traveler for now due to Covid-19 I enjoy these type of videos as they then challenge me to learn more about a particular particular place and it’s history.
So beautiful! We were supposed to go to Scotland last May. Then Covid happened. We've been working on our backyard this year instead. I told my daughter that I needed a sign that says Scotland because my backyard was supposed to be my trip. So we shall call it Scotland!
So beautiful! And it’s great to share because I’ve always wanted to go to Scotland but with restrictions still here in Victoria 🇦🇺, the pull to travel is stronger than ever! 😅
So....Did he? (in reference to your title) Thanks for dragging us along on your sightseeing, much appreciated. Pretty colours. Raining here too in my country today. Nice since a drought was forming.
patricia here--- what beautiful countryside you have there!!!! im in the desert so all i see is brown things... lol oh send us some of your rain cause weve had none!!!
Very fun video, Graeme! Tkx for showing us a bit of beauty & history. My own family (Kincaid) dates back to Scotland & Ireland (Riley). It's my hope to visit someday. But since I'm TERRIFIED of flying, I highly doubt I will make it, so I depend on people like yourself to bring me along of THEIR excursions. 🤠 Have a beautiful and blessed day 🙏. LUCRETIA
Love Stirling, my ancestors came from their and our best friends live there too. That monument is high but very satisfying to climb isn’t it? We took our little boys up it years ago x
Ahhh would LOVE to visit Scotland....my fathers ancestors are from there....We’re MacNutt but I think it was different many generations back...and your little fellas are so cute!
Was in Sterling when there was a flood last year and only the Scots would go kayaking and swimming in the streets making good of the weather circumstances. Brilliant 😊
I feel like I have a personal tour guide of your beautiful country, if you and the family ever come to the states again, Virginia will host you, to return the favor. Mad love to you and the family
Some day I would love to visit your great country. My sister and I are doing our ancestry on our mom's side Addington and Bellamy we are distant great granddaughters of King Malcolm St. Margaret Queen of Scotland and King William the lion. Thank you for all your videos. My love to you and the family.
Graeme, I love this video!! Do you think you can do a historic comparison of how hoof care was performed in medieval Scotland, if it was done in the past, how much does it differ today, and what breed would they have had of cow, thanks!! Keep up the great content!
Between you and your brother I feel like I have had a guided tour of Scotland this weekend. It's all in the family! I guess your mom likes you best because she went on holiday with you instead of your brother 🤔🤭 I'm just kidding 😂
I'll throw in another "well done, Graeme" - another special moment that we're so grateful you've shared. One of my little things is to open up Google Maps and without just typing in the name, see if I can spot the place - which I'll brag a bit that I can usually stumble onto. One thing that I'll also mention is how many names in the "old country" (whichever country you choose), have namesakes here in Canada. I have good friends living in Ayr, relatives in Stirling (both Ontario, Canada towns). Most of my ancestry is English or Irish and it's the same with those place names. One other story relates to the town of Craigellachie, BC - the site of the driving of the last spike of the first trans-Canada rail line (Nov. 7, 1885). When the management of the Canadian Pacific company (almost all Scots) were on the brink of financial ruin the telegram from the president went out to his colleagues to "Stand fast, Craigellachie" and they agreed on the naming of the town. The message was drawn directly from the Scottish traditional "Rock of Alarm", essentially saying hold on at all cost. Isn't history fun?! :-)
Hey Graham I'm from Oklahoma I met my husband in Belfast Northern Ireland I've been to Sterling Castle William Wallace's monument you name it Rob Roy's grave I love Scotland England Ireland Wales all of them. Much love from Oklahoma USA Jackie 🇺🇸💖

Tell your Mum she is beautiful and looks great!
It’s so good that you can spend time with your boys and share your country’s history with them as well. Youngsters grow up so fast.
Wow!! Thank you Graeme. Scotland is SO beautiful. I hope I can visit one day. Your family is beautiful, as always. 💜 🏴

One of these days I will go to Scotland. Thank you for sharing your amazing party of the world with us.
Very beautiful. Maybe I will see it someday. My Paternal Grandfather was Scots Irish. I have probably seen Braveheart more than a dozen times.
