hahaha it went higher
Was shocked to see it start clacking after. Polycarbonate plates almost guarantee a deeper sound.
bro prolly got the denser pc plate. the flimsier plates make deeper sound. Just like a guitar string
What plate was the "before". It sounds a bit deeper before imo, the Pom plate seems to have made the sound a bit crisper.
the before sounded hollow but after makes it sound alot better

@@TyCottle You kind of did the opposite of your goal and gave the keyboard a higher pitched sound (just what i expected from polycarbonate). But im not saying that its bad! -You definitely made a very *good* choice as the material balances the aluminium sound into a pleasant clack which is absolutely great 👍

Hey, I wonder where can I buy a plate for ciy board specifically the ciy tester 84, or are plates generic? I'm pretty new to this hobby so I don't know that much

I just switched from the AL to this and definitely deeper. Remove the tape mod and it will be noticeable

i think clacky switches(clacky switches meaning just pressing the switch without keycaps and no board sounds clacky) sound very amazing with pc plate

it does sound deeper... the tone is much deeper. more creamy too
Use lubed glorious panda and it will 100+ better
Switches are already lubed with 205g0
before sounds better
