If you have the patience and mental strength of a monk. But I'd really recommend it. And please note that most reviews are just people whining that the game's not perfectly what they want.

I think tbh, Skyrim cannot be succeeded till the new version comes out, here in 2024 and still wondering if i should buy it again. Every explore was interesting, concocting potions, magic spells, theivery, you could play the game as the mood you felt that day, no other game has come close since, if the new version was £500 I would save up for it and not complain about the price either, because the attention to detail is amazing.
I would love to see a game exactly like Skyrim but more in a low res / 8-bit style. Having a super smooth pixelated game with customization and huge open world can be a fresh thing instead of the always “hyper realistic” looking games which often don’t look good
I have 1500 hrs on Skyrim over the course of many yrs. In only a few months I already have over 600 hrs on Dragons Dogma 2. Great follow up game to Skyrim just a lot shorter
Arcanum is so great. It’s in my Top 5 RPGs of all time, easily. This list does have a couple of mods already, but there’s also as feral, the TC for Skyrim.
KCD is kind of an "anti skyrim", it has the same base elements but differs drastically. First is the fact that while skyrim is a fantasy rpg, KCD is a historical one (set in the Kingdom of Bohemia in 1403). Second is the fact that while skyrim is accessible to everyone, KCD is much more realistic and hard to master (combat especially is much more realistic and what makes many newcomes quit the game (because they assume the tutuorial they're given is enough to go out and fight (it isn't), this is due to the fact that both you and Henry (the player character) have to learn to become good, Henry is a village boy that sucks at everything when you start out, so you gotta grind with him too.
dude you need to use a lower 3rd and title the games you're talking about then put them in the video description. Like how tf is anyone going to know how to spell Gedonia to be able to find it?
I've tried Arcanum, and just getting to the first town for side quests took me a while to figure out. The map is not at all intuitive. The buttons to do anything are hard to work with. The character creation doesn't really help you understand what stats WILL help you survive. Most of it's a crap shoot. Especially the trait system, which is often more punitive than actually helpful. Though it's true there's a fairly insane customizability, and you CAN get through the game by being the smooth talker with ungodly amounts of charisma - you're GOING to need to fight some time. So I tend to want to go Half Ogre (because other than Darksun Shattered Lands, no other game has ever let me play a semi giant race - and even in tabletop D&D you need a very permissive DM to allow that kind of Character) The problem for me is all the points you need to build up to be able to do ANYTHING in skills, or magic. There are trainers and costs involved to training; but there's also a skill point investment attached to it as well = that's TOO MUCH bullshit just to get stronger so I can be better at surviving all the crap the game's going to throw my way in the long run. It's the same problem I had with the Gothic and Risen series'. * I would LOVE to see them re-make the game and stream-line it, a VERY little. Make the UI more intuitive, maybe fuck off with the skill trainers - or if you do actually find to be able to use a trainer, then don't you dare charge me any skill points. One or the other, assholes. Not both. Have the weapons types be a bit more robust, and more commonly found. Maybe cut down a few of the less useful magic trees (they can all have their niche uses I know, but most of the spells in any school aren't what you're focused on. There ARE clear standouts that EVERY mage wants) Do that, mark the side quests and fix the bugs attached to them, maybe give new players a quest objective for at least the main quests - or a journal that's actually helpful - and a retooled Arcanum would be absolutely awesome... but I'm still waiting on VTMB 2 to be any good, and it'll be a while before I can afford to hope for another older game I like to be salvaged. [Frustrated by, and gave up on does not mean I can't see it's potential]
How is this even possible not only not include timestamps, but even not include game titles - its extremely non convenient for non-english users💁♂"Number 2, hmdonia" - and I have to rerun several times to actually hear which game to google. Its hard to get list of games. Anyway, thanks for the video
There is no open world game like Skyrim because Skyrim in and of itself is a mediocre game. What makes Skyrim special, and why it's arguably the most successful game in history is the ease at which it can be modded and the modding community that's sprung up around it. No other game has that. People tend to forget or are too young to realise just how shoddy a game it was on launch, Dragons flying through scenery, broken quests, and graphics that were a step down in terms of its peers than Oblivion was before it. The modding community have taken this game apart and rebuilt it from the inside out, transforming it into an entirely new game that's stood the test of time. But without that, Skyrim would have been long forgotten.
I can heavily recommend Outward! I´ve been playing it for years and despite having hundreds of hours in this game, I come back to outward time and time again for another run/different build, just like I did back in the day with Morrowind

Two worlds 2 looks like you’re coming up against Thanos. Maybe it’s about the early years of Thanos’ world
I would love to see a game exactly like Skyrim but more in a low res / 8-bit style. Having a super smooth pixelated game with customization and huge open world can be a fresh thing instead of the always “hyper realistic” looking games which often don’t look good
Sounds like Valheim, not exactly like Skrim since its a survival game, but very close to your description.
morrowind?
Dread Delusion! You’re welcome ❤
@@hilltoast9204 wow! That’s what I’m talking about! Thank you
I have 1500 hrs on Skyrim over the course of many yrs.
Where’s Kingdom Come Deliverance? The most similar game to Skyrim
KCD is kind of an "anti skyrim", it has the same base elements but differs drastically.
First is the fact that while skyrim is a fantasy rpg, KCD is a historical one (set in the Kingdom of Bohemia in 1403).
Second is the fact that while skyrim is accessible to everyone, KCD is much more realistic and hard to master (combat especially is much more realistic and what makes many newcomes quit the game (because they assume the tutuorial they're given is enough to go out and fight (it isn't), this is due to the fact that both you and Henry (the player character) have to learn to become good, Henry is a village boy that sucks at everything when you start out, so you gotta grind with him too.
where can i find le second game please
dude you need to use a lower 3rd and title the games you're talking about then put them in the video description. Like how tf is anyone going to know how to spell Gedonia to be able to find it?
thx man. I ve searching for someone that spells correctly the second game to find it in google. WTF of videos in this channel
Agreed. A lot of the time details like that will determine whether or I subscribe or not.
I also enjoy the fable trilogy, they're the games that helped me find skyrim too!
Amazing games fall damage and I’m glad I’m amongst the first to watch the video
answer I keep every video into if it's 5 seconds but these dude used the Skyrim best relaxing music in the first intro so I didn't skip the intro 😂
Can anyone list the names of the games please? I couldn't catch some of them due to hearing processing issues. Thanks!
Risen was one of the best games i ever played back in the day
I've tried Arcanum, and just getting to the first town for side quests took me a while to figure out.
Put the names of the games on the video...
Gothic1-2-3, Risen1-2-3.
man, in 2023 we have text to enable and help people navigate your video
Honestly the only game that matches open world feeling like skyrim for me is ER
i'd rather wait for tes6 tbh
@@Ultrasoniic tnx! i'll need it!
Well discover immortality.
Even after "Starfield"?
@@_Dovar_ what else is there to do man? only hope remains
Had to mention enderal, way better than skyrim

Wind Waker
i just started the game again yesterday with some mods and they work so great i love the game!!!!!
Apart from skyrim, how many of those can also be enjoyed in VR?

@@JULEBOL Exactly 🤣🤣🤣
Character from Skyrim and background from photoshop !
How you going to say a name like what gidonlia? And not show the name. How I'm I suppose to find this game if I can't spell it
Enderal?
Witcher, Zelda, Dragon's Dogma all left out...
My problem with outward was the combat. The animations and actual hits didn't match
"adalar" means isles in Turkish. Its a funny little concidence. Isles of isles
Where’s Risen and Elex?
What is 6 ??
Number 5 Ohwoodwwdd....thanks
Good video.
How is this even possible not only not include timestamps, but even not include game titles - its extremely non convenient for non-english users💁♂"Number 2, hmdonia" - and I have to rerun several times to actually hear which game to google. Its hard to get list of games. Anyway, thanks for the video
oldschool runescape
How is fallout not on the list?
I have it and really enjoyed Two Worlds 2
im def buying Isles of Adalar
So, you hate Skyrim because the modding community helped it to the point where it became the best arpg ever released, right?
Only Fallout or other Elder Scrolls games can be like Skyrim
Morrowind has more freedom than Skyrim.
As did the 1500s compared to the 2000s
Gothic series!
All games took from Gothic series
I can heavily recommend Outward! I´ve been playing it for years and despite having hundreds of hours in this game, I come back to outward time and time again for another run/different build, just like I did back in the day with Morrowind
I knew youtube was gonna drop knowledge when 'Two Worlds: Two' made the list
its crusader kings 2 not elder kings bro xd
I have never found a game that is "like Skyrim" to me. If a game is desceibed that way, it is only set up for disappointment, at least for me. I have to look at other games of such type as their own thing to avoid that.
Sorry there is none, no game is like Skyrim. Skyrim is a unique masterpiece.
I'll save u the time waste just go & Play "Tainted Grail Fall of Avalon" just like Skyrim
Outward is outright awful
I just wanna cheat
If i cant cheat i aint playing....
