That's because the mommas did not put braids and heat in their hair when they were 3 years of age.
Now, we have flat irons and wax sticks. Back in the day, all you needed was a hot comb. NOTHING gets hair straight and slick like a hot comb.

I loved everything about this video. So glad Teddy Riley brought them back together and they worked through their issues. They are funny together and we get to celebrate them! Also really love that Coko speaks out about her diagnosis, it is so empowering for all the young people to seek out help

I wish I could give this video 5 thumbs up. The real talk about loving your NATURAL HAIR and how all the weaves have wreaked havoc on our hair was real talk. Also enjoyed their candor…Coko confidently sharing her mental health challenges and looking FABULOUS while talking about it. These women are amazing and don’t need ANY group to co-sign them. They are fabulous all on their own. FACTS!
In spite of their differences and disagreements, they still manage to come together and be the group we know and love. SWV will always be one of the GOATs for girl groups.

That’s what I be telling my daughter, our hairstyles wasn’t expensive and we could take a reasonable price pair of pants and shirt and hook it up. I’m glad too cause I wouldn’t been able to enjoy myself and hang out with my cousins and friends 😅
