I love these videos especially with Mimi. Yall need to have tickets to come to the studio for Mimi's cooking. I would seriously buy and take a trip. ❤️
I love cornbread dressing but don’t like any bread other than cornbread mixed into mine. Especially not while bread which I don’t even like for a sandwich. Lil’ Sis really lost me with the Stove Top Stuffing. I have tried but I cannot make myself swallow it. Where my family is from on the Gulf Coast some people put oysters in their dressing so there are different proteins that can be used. We sauté the vegetables in our family. I am going home for Thanksgiving. ❤
My mom always used regular cornbread with the addition of Mrs. Cubbbins Cornbread Stuffing. It's WAY WAY better than the Stove Top stuff. And any stuffing or dressing with white bread? Instant thumbs down.
Just based on looks, I think Mimi's looks better. No shade to Chef Neicy, but if I had to pick one of those to serve at my dinner table, it would definitely be Mimi's!
My dressing has completely changed now that I'm living in Ireland. They don't have cornmeal so now I use a bread for stuffing. I also started adding sausage and more veggies to give it more texture and color.
I just love Grandma Mimi and I could watch her on RUclips all day!!!! I'm a huge fan of cornbread stuffing and even though I'm a Yankee white boy (sorry Mimi!!!) I do love to cook and I love making cornbread dressing for the holidays. I have never seen it done the way Chef Niecy does it. The way she mixed everything into a soup just seemed bizarre and I could tell that it turned out too mushy. I make mine more traditionally which means I saute the trifecta in butter ahead of time and then use chicken (or turkey broth) poured over my homemade cornbread along with the veggies and sage sausage. I add a bevy of spices such as poultry seasoning, garlic & onion powders, a bit of chili powder, rotisserie chicken spice, salt, pepper and some dried parsley for added color. I also add some sauted button mushrooms. I too prefer mine to be firmer and a bit crumbly. Thanks for the video Mimi!!!
I can guarantee the true ingredient that made the most difference was the bouillon, and the crime was boiling the big 3. I'm from Georgia, so using chicken bouillon, sautéing your big 3, and using your own cooked chicken or hen to make broth is a must.
I like my dressing stuffed with a crunchy top. But I sauté the vegetables, we use turkey meat, and I have never in my life heard of adding cream of anything to my dressing, but to each their own. I wonder if the chef didn’t cook her long enough or if it was that cream soup that made it too mushy. But it looked closer to the consistency that I’m used to
i’m so accustomed to the BEST southern food… neither one of them have good dressing imo. the REAL trick to having phenomenal, aka the BEST dressing you’ll ever have in ur life, is to use homemade TURKEY!! not chicken broth! pour ALL of that baked, spicy & savory turkey juice into the cornbread, and shred the turkey FINELY for the dressing. the turkey is wayyy more savory than chicken (if you know how to season food), & gives the dressing an everlasting/addicting flavor. the second secret thing is season the dressing extremely well!! u gotta taste it BEFORE baking it to make sure it’s savory enough. i can’t give too much of my family’s passed down secret recipe, but just know that my parents have won food competitions & have been told that they have the best bbq/southern food. so i know my stuff
Yeah this is like the girlfriend of the cousin who was brought to the Thanksgiving dinner dressing that everyone will try just 2 be nice 😂 no baby that's not southern at ALL!!!
Listen... We all do it different, but in south Georgia we don't put sausage in dressing and it definitely don't crumble. Neicy wins. Old G didn't make dressing. Idk what that was.

@@BxBabyDollJIffy is a perfect starter kit, add a few more eggs, corn meal, self rising flour, butter, sugar if you like it and Baby😎❤ 💥 Boom ❤ Thanks for Watching ❤
@MsMiMiSullivan Thank you, Ms. Mimi. Merry Christmas!
Oh great, thanks for the recipe will give it a try!
10:26. I lost it 😂
It was the most unexpected thing possible😂
3 different types of bread? 😂😂
not gonna lie, the stovetop threw me. lol
@@deenice7155I do see a lot of black folk lately on RUclips that use a packet of stovetop. Dani Ross (I think that’s her name) did it once and I tried it and it was pretty dang good, it my grandma would a laughed at me
She know that she didn't have to spit out that food. 😂
I love these videos especially with Mimi. Yall need to have tickets to come to the studio for Mimi's cooking. I would seriously buy and take a trip. ❤️
Yes my girl Mimi is back 💛
Niecey I’m so so proud of you!🤍🤍to see us grow up to where u are now and representing Chicago makes my heart warm.love you🩵
I love cornbread dressing but don’t like any bread other than cornbread mixed into mine.
We love MiMi on this channel. she's the original O. G. but where is the sage at ?
I don’t know what these Ladies made…BUT MY GRANNIES IN MISSISSIPPI WOULD NOT APPROVE 😂
The two last girls scrapping the fork on their teeth was so cringe 🫠
Just based on looks, I think Mimi's looks better. No shade to Chef Neicy, but if I had to pick one of those to serve at my dinner table, it would definitely be Mimi's!
I LOVE cornbread dressing, and am missing it today! Please, don’t hand me
no “stuffing”. I don’t want nothing that’s been stuffed into a dead bird!❤❤❤
😂the spit out was crazy!!
Once she couldn't cut that thick bread, I knew Mimi was about to tear her up lol
I need Mimi as a life coach 😊 she make giggle and kick my feet lol ! 😂
My dressing has completely changed now that I'm living in Ireland. They don't have cornmeal so now I use a bread for stuffing. I also started adding sausage and more veggies to give it more texture and color.
So it’s stuffing not dressing.
STUFFING IS MADE WITH BREAD, DRESSING IS MADE WITH CORN BREAD!! Hello from South Mississippi Mississippi
?????
We need a second season.
Mimi was SILENCED after that bite LMAOO
I can guarantee the true ingredient that made the most difference was the bouillon, and the crime was boiling the big 3. I'm from Georgia, so using chicken bouillon, sautéing your big 3, and using your own cooked chicken or hen to make broth is a must.
Nana Mimi is an agent of chaos and that's why we need her in our lives. You don't know what she about to say!
I am, obviously, not a black woman but I am here for the OG. Grandma is always going to make the best dressing.
ALWAYS!!!!!!
But it looked closer to the consistency that I’m used to
Dressing/stuffing is all about where you come from. Luckily I grew up in nyc as well as Kentucky so I can do both 😉
The first grandmother is so made for this! 😂
i’m so accustomed to the BEST southern food… neither one of them have good dressing imo. the REAL trick to having phenomenal, aka the BEST dressing you’ll ever have in ur life, is to use homemade TURKEY!! not chicken broth! pour ALL of that baked, spicy & savory turkey juice into the cornbread, and shred the turkey FINELY for the dressing. the turkey is wayyy more savory than chicken (if you know how to season food), & gives the dressing an everlasting/addicting flavor. the second secret thing is season the dressing extremely well!! u gotta taste it BEFORE baking it to make sure it’s savory enough. i can’t give too much of my family’s passed down secret recipe, but just know that my parents have won food competitions & have been told that they have the best bbq/southern food. so i know my stuff
As an elder millennial she does not speak for all of us Mimi 🤣🤣
I need Mama Mimi to have a TV show!
As soon as I seen Mighty Mimi, baby I clicked so fast!!!
Grandma Mimi presence is gold and am so happy to see her more often
Yeah this is like the girlfriend of the cousin who was brought to the Thanksgiving dinner dressing that everyone will try just 2 be nice 😂 no baby that's not southern at ALL!!!
Right! No sage, no poultry seasoning. No butter around the pan. No thanks
her food would make me think she don't like us and now we got beef.
I solely clicked cause of Mimi in thumbnail. If there’s anything I know about her is that she always has something to say 😂
I love Stove Top Stuffing cornbread mix but the young lady isn't cooking anything she's just remixing what came out of a Kraft box. 🤣🤣
Grandma cool asf 🤣🤣🤣
I LIVE us up top fermented. We're so real. 🥰🥰
And I knew she was going to win.
not the biting the fork trying it 💀
I don't know why this tickled my soul. Go OG. Can't no younguns hold us back!!!
Stove top, but jiffy is where she draws the line 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Did anybody notice that grandma MiMi ate almost all, of the millennial's dressing. 😂
Definitely run a Christmas episode 😂 we need ham/cranberry sauce & pie or something idk
I'm old school too; that's where the nostalgia comes in on Thanksgiving.
Listen... We all do it different, but in south Georgia we don't put sausage in dressing and it definitely don't crumble. Neicy wins. Old G didn't make dressing. Idk what that was.
Exactly 😂 whatever grandma made was not southern AT ALL!
My mama taught me to make it with the sage sausage 😋 My grandma made it with gizzards
