Please keep this series going! So many iconic black women who set trends and influenced the hair/beauty game. Love seeing them get their flowers through something so sacred to Black women.
THE HORNS WERE ICONIC!! She was the queen of horns, I don't remember anyone wearing them before her and definitely not as big and cool as her horns!!! Such a perfect scary spice look ❤❤❤❤❤
Mel B was the first celebrity I ever saw to rock her natural curly hair when I was 5 years old when Spice Girls came out, and I looked up to her. Growing up, my mom was trying to get me to relax my hair, and I always said no up until 6th grade. Now, I have been natural for 12 years now.
She was my only representation growing up in the 90s all my friends and women in my family had relaxed hair. I was the only one that wore my natural curls. Shes always been an inspiration for me! Thanks Mel B! 💕💕
Mel B was the first person to help me love and style my curly hair. I was hoping to see her talk about her Bantu knots look because that was my absolute favorite when I was a kid. 🤎
Her, Macy Gray, and Kelis. I distinctively remember when small bits of natural hair that was not locs or braids started showing up. It was those three that stood out.
Spice World movie brings me the most nostalgia more than any movie i put on. Popped it into the cassette so many times as a child I can’t even count. Such a fun movie..it was cool because they were just playing themselves
I remember when I was a child I didn't pay her much attention, I guess being into the "Barbie aestehics" I gravitated towards Emma as my favorite Spice girl. Now that I am older and looking back I realise how awesome she really was. Her style was unique, fierce and she was (and still is) incredibly beautiful.
I love Mel B’s hairstyle from her days with the Spice Girls!!! they’re so iconic and she’s one of my favorite female celebrities and singers!!! ❤😊🎉🎉🎉❤😊❤😊❤😊❤😊
People used to constantly call me scary spice back in the day lol. It was just my natural hair but apparently that made us twins 😄. Shes beautiful, glad shes doing well!!❤
That doll change my life 🥺🥺 i was like finally black barbie with curly hair. I cried of joy. Representation matters. I use to braids my white barbies to look more like me and paint their faces. Anyways thank you love u 🖤
Of course she was my FAVORITE spice girl! 😍 to learn about her hair story warms my heart because she likes volume & style but with minimal maintenance 😍
You will always remember Mel B from the Spice Girls! I remembered I wanted to have hair like hers. But my hair was very long and tangled up unbelievably!😂
Actually he joked used the nickname as a joke. He didn't realised that he created the most iconic nicknames. But he most likely realised it he created the most iconic nickname. Hes name is paul btw, they exist a video with him and the spice girls on RUclips. I read it in a article and hes worker said he did this as a joke.
Ooomg I had the Posh Spice doll 🥹😍 such memories omg and I never realized they were supposed to be “horns” she was sporting 😂😂😂 I thought it was just very cute buns lol
Mel B, you'll never look better than with your crazy natural lion mane!! Though it's perfectly understandable that one need some change to feel like you get ahead in life and becomes someone else. However that crazy curly look suits you so well because this is so you !
Wish she had talked about getting her hair healthy again after all the things and cuts she did to it during her AGT time. During the Spice Girls reunion tour in 2019, she wore a full wig on the shows, and let her braided hair rest to eventually get the big afro back.
