brutal fact: in the comics there are two gobblins, the green goblin (osbourne father and son like in the tobey macguirre movie) and the hob gobblin. The second one is like a psycho copycat and his name is Edward Leeds. Ned's first name is Edward

Moon knight is mind blowing 💯fantastic series
Mr. Willem Dafoe himself did every single stunt act as the Green Goblin in this movie.
In fact, he insisted on it.
Myguy is 68 years young, and he's a beast
He'll often take any chance he can to say "I did my own stunts!" when talking about No Way Home. He's rightfully proud!
Apparently, Tobey, Andrew, and Tom started a group text, and Tobey and Andrew ended up going to a showing of the movie together on opening weekend. Can you imagine being in that theater, turning around, and seeing two Peter Parkers sitting behind you at this movie?
Depending on the movie, seeing two Peters isn't unusual.
I just imagine Tobey with that tiny wave. The one from when Peter finally manages to catch MJ's show.
Seeing 3 Spidermans in a one movie was historical
Between Infinity War with the "Mr. Stark, I don't feel so good" and "I don't wanna go..." and then in this when he's trying to talk to May as she's dying, man is Tom Holland great at playing a scared, heartbroken kid who doesn't know what to do.
He was amazing at that in The Impossible. He was about 15 when he made that movie, and he could absolutely tear your heart out.

I remember in the theater when Andrew caught MJ and his reaction was so well acted I just like immediately had tears in my eyes. So glad he got to shine in this.

Andrew Garfield is such a fantastic actor. I think he completely stole this movie. Just so damn good, and so damn charming.

This movie did every character more justice than their original movies except maybe Doc Oc. It's easier when you can lean on nostalgia and intertextuality but this movie got the love it needed.
Andrew garfield improvised the line i love you guys. So the reactions from tobey mcquire and tom holland was genuine

They mentioned that the Statue of Liberty had been remodelled
IIRC I think they timed the release of the last episode of Hawkeye (when the Rockefeller center Christmas tree comes down) so that it was a few days after this film opened (where it was still standing when Peter swings by it at the end).
This movie is a NOSTALGIA FEAST for Spidey fans!

Its insane that you guys managed to go into this movie completely blind.
I love the "been thinking about it a long time.." line for Tobey in regards to curing Osborne. Such a small, simple line, yet it speaks volumes.
Another cool detail they brought back from the original Spider-Man movie is that Willem Dafoe uses fake teeth when playing Norman Osbourne, but when he becomes the Goblin he has his natural teeth.
I never imagined back in 2019 after watching Endgame that we would get the other 2 Spiderman to enter the MCU after all these years if Peter 2 and 3 were there they would also be swinging with Peter 1 in that group shot but imagine their reaction with seeing a Raccoon, a sentient tree, a literal giant man, and the Norse god Thor
Well, it was on our list since Into the Spider-verse and Ezra's and Gustin's Flash crossover 😁😁

Some people were annoyed Ned could use the Sling Ring because he wasn't "special." People forget there's a whole school of ordinary people learning their sorcery. Even Strange is an ordinary person just with an amazing memory.
Ned uses chaos magic and becomes the antagonist Hobgoblin in the comics. I felt they were setting up in the future he will try to kill Peter.

Also, Doctor Strange's "I've been dangling over the grand canyon for 12 hours!" line is totally a callback/payback for what he did to Loki back in Thor: Ragnarok. "I have been falling... FOR 30 MINUTES!!!"
This movie was amazing for how it tied everything together between all of the movies. Truly something special and the right amount of nostalgia and love for the character spanning multiple generations. If my dad was still around he would have loved this movie.

Technically, Norman and the Goblin are two different personalities, two different persons inhabiting the same body. So if you kill the body, they both die. And while it is true that Goblin killed May, the real Norman never would have done that. So to save him, using the cure really was the only option.
Also May wouldn't have wanted to see Norman die especially not on her behalf.
I love the fact that the Christmas tree at the end if the movie was the same one that Hawkeye fell into in the tv series 😊
And the "Rogers the Musical" poster.
You mentioned Toby's face when he stopped Peter from killing Osborn. No. The best face and likely the best scene in the movie was when Garfield caught MJ from the fall. The range of emotions that play across his face go from relief, to redemption to grief in a couple of seconds. Kudos to Andrew.
The new dictionary definition of "catharsis" should just be a shot of this scene.
I cried happy tears when toby came through the portal as he is my Spiderman ,my partner had to go and get some tissues for me as he had the isle seat (we were at the pictures )

”This looks like a trailer” … funny thing, that … because that literally is the trailer to Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness :)
to be honest, many say it's Endgame for them or Iron Man 1 but this is genuinely my favorite Marvel movie. It was perfectly written from start to finish and they reaaally pulled it off with getting all the actors back for this which is of course MASSIVE fan service but it wasn't just fan service in order to be fan service to get people in the theaters but it actually made sense for the story and was just epic (not like a certain other movie that turned out to be a massive disappointment all the way through) . Seeing this at the theaters was definitely the best cinema experience I've ever had, everyone was so hype and the athmosphere with everyone was just crazy!
I'm really impressed that NONE of your fanbase ruined this movie for you guys. Easily up there with Endgame for top tier Marvel movies

Spider-Man doesn't Kill ........... In the comic books Spider-Man had a cold and couldn't talk and his villains were so scared because he's always making jokes....

the ending when he jumps out his new apartment window and webs across that skating rink and big tree, thats the big tree and ice rink from hawkeye show finale. so spider-man was around during that time of the show.
This movie really was a masterpiece, Andrew saving MJ was the best redemption arc ever, you could really see it in his face how broken his face was about saving her considering he couldn't save Gwen. Aunt Mays death really was heartbreaking, she was to hot to die 😭😭. All the fight scenes were perfect, Tobey, Doc Ock, Norman, Electro, all amazing to see again, even Sandman and Doctor Conners too......Also the ending with Eddie, Rob seemed a little confused, Eddie went back to his universe but a little part of venom stayed in Tom universe, so who knows what will happen next.... DUN DUN DUNNNNN haha 😂😂😂😂

Sandman is the only one that didn't get killed by Spider-Man he flew away at the end of Spider-Man 3....

Electro's outfit in the final battle is way more comic
Unfortunately, they could not get Thomas Haden Church (Sandman) back for this movie due to scheduling conflicts so everything was CGI, or re-used footage from the other movies.
Nice job picking up on the Miles Morales reference from Electro.
Willem Dafoe only agreed to do this movie if he could do most of the stunts on his own.
Yes that was the multiverse splitting. The outlines of characters were other Spider-Man villains from the comics.
Just to make sure its clear, everyone knows Spider-Man exists. People know of a Peter Parker,. But nobody knows Peter Parker is Spider-Man, theres no connection.
Which made them pretty much expect this instead of being as awesomely surprised as they could have been and want to be when watching these things. They don't just randomly watch things, the mods make sure they have exactly what they need before watching something.
People spamming them to watch something, is only frustrating to them and gives away more than they should know beforehand.

@@Berto2K That's because most of the work we do is behind the scenes that no one needs to really know about unless specifically pointed out.
Which it has in some videos in the intros or outros. And when they have mentioned multiple times how they have a specific order to watch in, which granted is mostly release order, but we also only give them only a number of upcoming titles, so they don't know what is coming up after those, as they prefer to go in as fresh and blind as possible
I usually also don't really prefer to have people figure out for themselves I'm a mod, but since you asked, I didn't want to lie either xD

Marvel announced they had inked a deal for another Spider-Man trilogy shortly after the release of this film.

The actor who played sandman was not available to film due to other commitments. He lent his voice and they used old footage for his human form. I thought it was strange he was just sand the whole time but that’s why
God i was so happy when Peter got what he deserves, so sad that aunt May had to die but that was the only thing that could make peter less stupid and inmature

To be fair, we were more busy keeping them from seeing the spoiler poster for the Extended version and being spoiled on the three Spidey's. It's also more of ateaser trailer anyway, so although it would have been preferred if we had caught it, our priority was mostly achieved at least xD

The fan service this movie provided was absolutely unreal. One of my best theater experiences since Infinity War and End Game first came out! Glad you both enjoyed it as much as I did!

Tom Holland has been confirmed to be getting 3 more films.
It's rumored Tobey & Andrew are not done as Spider-Man.
And Venom has a 3rd film coming out this year.
I forgot to mention, if you go back to the beginning of the movie where Spidey and MJ are swinging through town, you can see the yellow marquee for Rogers The Musical as they swing by it.

When Spider-Mandrew saved Gwe… MJ, I definitely shed a tear or two. It was cool how they made it clear he did it differently, he took all of the impact himself instead of trying to catch Gwe… MJ with his web.
Alot of comic book fans complained that MCU Spiderman wasn't Spiderman. He was Iron Man Jr. But at the end of this movie, Peter goes back to basics. So the trilogy is basically one long origin story.
Yeah, after all, those 'fans' definitely seem to realize that Spider-Man has literally over a million different backstories, so HOW DARE THEY actually have one using Iron Man and the incredible bond that RDJ and Tom Holland had, right? That's totally not Spider-Man, lol.
Sorry, to me that argument has always felt so narowminded and dumb.
After all, if it was him using some of Tony's tech, that he literally from day one then adjusts to his own needs, and in the second one makes his own suit, just from Stark tech, then I guess the ENTIRE MCU is made up of not actual Marvel characters, but Iron Man Jr's?
@@HIPsteHeero Tom Holland's MCU Spidey made absolute sense in the setting, and setting this trilogy up as a back to basics origin story was genius. I loved the journey. There's always room for different stories in such vast storytelling universes. Just like Andor being my favourite Star Wars thing ever, doesn't mean all of Star Wars needs to be like it. Every facet of that far away galaxy has a place. Andor had quality storytelling, acting and aesthetic. The fact it didn't have light sabers or Jedi was a non-issue.
They are right what we seen him in was basically mcu origin story hevwas basically ironboy until strange cast the spell to forget him and the ironman technology doesnt know who Peter Parker is and thats why he got the new suit at the end and thats when he become spidermam and not iron boy anymore so I hope they make more tom Holland spidermam movies at least another trilogy with him being spiderman and not ironboy

Although, please keep the Andor stuff at a minimum, as the hope is that we'll still get Rob and Trin on the full Star Wars journey eventually other than the Skywalker saga and Rogue One that they've seen xD

We don't know when exactly, we are doing things the best way we can when we can (it's not perfect for sure), we record every day diverse things, but we will get there in the good time.

Andrew Garfield is probably my least favorite Spiderman, but he is so good in this! It makes me want to give his films another try. I also adored him in Tick Tick Boom and Hacksaw Ridge.
Theory: Flash Thompson will get the venom symbiote.
In the comics Flash becomes Agent Venom.

Great reaction as always :D. There will be a new spider-man but it's not out yet hopefully next year because of the actor/writer strike it got delayed by a year orso.
As for your next side project for the future of the MCU i can advise you to watch the X-men movies and some Wolverine movies as they are marvel to and the MCU got the rights from fox like 5 years ago.
In a better world we would have Emma Stone as Spider Gwen.

I think it's easy for people to pick apart some of the weaker elements of the plot but it's hard to deny how exhilarating this movie is when you let yourself get swept up in its emotional beats.

Alot of folks dont realize Spiderman is a tragedy. He doesnt get to have happy endings, he always is left the hard choice. And he usually makes it.
Dude! This has been my main complaint about most of the films. He is the guy who does the right thing, despite the world telling him he is no good. I accepted it for the MCU version, but Spiderman should never be getting keys to the city awards and stuff like train cars full of people willing to give their lives for him. At most, there should only be an occasional few (like the paradoxical Flash Thompson who loves SM, despite being a bully to Peter) who see him as the hero he really is.

We never saw Uncle Ben die in this universe. He was mentioned in Civil War. This Peter never had the "With great power..." speech/moment with Uncle Ben. Aunt May gave that to him (us). Heartbreaking that she had to go but, she fulfilled Spider-Man lore by saying those words to Peter when he really needed to hear them.
Normal spiderman loses Ben this one loses May bc he already had no bed
