I miss Christensen because he can be a great back up for either cubarsi or inigo. Araujo I have mixed feeling, he is a good CB but I don't know if he can executes the offside trap, his passing is not as good as cubarsi, inigo, and Christensen, add that his red card vs psg gave me ptsd LOL
@ucbrowser2447 I genuinely believe Araujo is one of the best CBs in the world I think we've all forgotten how good he is, his long passing will be forced to adapt and he has adapted to all the challenges put on him I trust him 100%
We really need them. They are very impressive but i think this wont work in the long run. Teams are stunned now because its new for them. Teams will adjust in the long run. But when araujo and christensen comes back, our ultimate CB are Cubarsi and Araujo with Iñigo and christensen at the bench
Having 2 high IQ CB's with incredible passing is so amazing, and the fact that Inigo is left-footed and Cubarsi is right-footed is such a blessing, something which not many top clubs in the world have. Perfect partnership!
Glad Iñigo is getting his recognition. Been watching him for years and was happy he joined us, I was really suprised when he didn't play much last season.
His high football IQ and leadership skills have saved us this season. Flick might give instructions before the match, but Inigo is the one who makes sure the instructions are implemented on the pitch
The seconds options on this team stepped up so hard that it’s hard to even imagine the first options replacing them when healthy. Araujo, Gavi, De Jong and Christinsen are all players you could argue don’t even need to be played, and could add instability when they come back. De Jong and Gavi are always going to be key players. De Jong especially. But he’s having to fight for places with the likes of Casado and Fermin
I think the biggest thing about flicks team is how pedri and inigo are so consistent. How many minutes theyve played last season both of em would have been injured. I hope aroujo learns some leadership skills from inigo and calma from cubarsi

Our centerback of Martinez and Cubarsi is doing well because of Hansi vigorous training that he gives them. By the way, Hansi prefer his right center back to be right footed and left CB to be left footed because it's easy for them to release the ball when under pressure from pressing high and kicking long balls.

Since lefty CB’s are such a rare commodity to have in your squad, gives Flick an extra incentive to use him. - knowing that he can’t afford to slip up even a little bit because Araujo and Christensen are on standby once they come back from injuries means that he has to give it his best at all times or he’ll lose his spot in the starting lineup.

All the players who are coming or will come from injury have to earn their spot again. Gavi, Frankie, Araujo, Christensen needs to have to fight for their spot in regular starting line up.
As much as I appreciate Ronald Araujo's strengths (pace, heading power, pure physicality), I doubt he can form the same brilliant combination with Inigo Martinez as Pau Cubarsi. I suspect that he lacks a certain awareness of the exact spatial positioning and coordination with his partner. But let us be surprised!
I don't want Araujo with Inigo. Araujo's got incredible athleticism but none of the brain to go with it - he's far too reliant on his physique to bail him out because his defensive fundamentals are weak. He has all tbe speed in the world but is the worst at playing the opposition offside because his first instinct is to head for home, reactive defending, not happy to defend on the front foot. And with the ball at his feet, he's far below the elite. We saw that vs PSG.
I remember the barca debut match of inigo, he was terrible. Every single pass of him being intercepted by opposition. I thought what xavi saw in him. Fast forward to now I think he is the best defender for us since pique

Secret hero who misses more clear cut chances than he scores. Lewandowski still hasnt convunced me even though he scored 2 good goals especially second one against real. He is missing absolute open goal goals every match.. its not 1 ot 2.. its almost every match and majority of his goals came because of excellent team play more than his individual quality.. sure some might say his positioning is good. It depends on goal to goal.. whether it was clever positioning luck or like in most cases a mix of both.. So no.need to overhype like just because of blind numbers
I’m happy for iñigo .. I’ve watched him over the years and he has always been just that a steady and dependable defender.. and with cubarsi as a revelation this yr .. it’s nice but what I hate about football and I guess sports in general is exactly what was stated in this video .. we don’t need Araujo anymore… and that’s sad bc there was many times in the past few years the but for only the chestnuts of the uruguayo.. barça would have lost or been humiliated. So what about that a player who’s given there all for the team and saved on many occasions? Does he not at least get a shot back to see how he teams up with iñigo or cubarsi ? I don’t like just dumping someone when he still has a lot to offer. And he’s still young too .. can learn a lot and become our stable rock in defense who will give all for club for years to come …🤔

Inigo has been great but I don't like how he always throws his hands up in frustration when a pass isn't immediately available... observe him in tomorrow's match. In my opinion it gives off a bad impression of him panicking on the ball as opposed to someone like Pedri who takes his entire time on the ball calmly even if passes don't open up in lime 15 seconds.
