The determination and obsession from Hansi Flick makes me feel kinda positive for the next season of the club.

I feel like we shouldn't judge him by just 1 season. I wanted Xavi to continue but our team is in rebuilding stage we shouldn't keep changing managers again and again give him time and back him. I felt like one more season with Xavi and we would've been much more stable with our project

Xavi isn't a bad coach at all but as shown in recent times barça already has the tactics to win and the players required(almost) but if we want to survive in la liga we need someone serious who has done it all, we need that winning mentality ASAP. Cause trust me, if Mbappe fits in the current madrid squad they will officially make us a small club. And now that i realise all the achievements madrid managed during messi xavi Iniesta era it makes me respect them
Madrid are a better run club than Barca could ever hope to be. That 6-1 win against PSG sent them in a downward spiral that they wouldn’t recover from for at least a few more years.

14:21 ansu was given similar treatment to roque, de zerbi only started him in 3 EPL games and he only had 500 minutes all season, and when he came on he’d be played as a CAM which isn’t his position. The only reason ansu left was because Xavi told him he wouldn’t get much game time with Joao Felix coming in. But ansu needs to come back and play under flick.
He was injured… and when he wasn’t he didn’t play very well

2 things in general I want to comment as Catalan and Culer:
1. I‘ll be missing hearing Catalan as the first language on each press conference… Xavi did that and that made me happy (that’s how low we came in Catalonia) …
2. I think Xavi had not his fair chance … he did not get the players he wanted - because Deco didn’t agree or we couldn’t afford them. Chose one :-) …
The last thing I noted is what Xavi said in his last pre-press conference for the last game against Sevilla … he said - he planed the changes for the squad and they didn’t agree - somehow he said it like that … that means for me - Deco did not agree with his plans …. And didn’t find a solution …
That’s how I understood Xavi.
So grateful for this comment, people on the other so called Barca channels are busy saying Xavi deserved this, it's Karma for not playing Vitor Roque, which is ridiculous.

Kounde was garbage for most of the season (and constantly got outrun + outmuscled), Araujo blew it in a couple matches. Christensen was absolutely imperious at the back + filled in at pivot fixing the whole team.

I disagree RE Fermin. He showed up and scored in big games when given the chance. Also, his link-up play with Lamine is really good. He's a workhorse and covers the pitch like nobody elses except maybe Gavi (when he was still available). Given more chances, Fermin Lopez will impress, if not with goals, then with his involvement in all phases of play.
Yeah I love Fermin as I’ve talked about him a ton. In retrospect he probably deserved a 9 but I wanted to be honest about his entire season as I’ve been paying VERY close attention to him since like September. You’re probably right

to give ter stegen and araujo a 5 and a 6 is insane mean while kounde and gundo got a 8 kound made many mistakes in the whole seasone that lead to a goal or a great attack mean while gundo was barley sprinting on the pitch and did nothing in the big games. ter stegen was injured for half of the season but when he came back was when barca started to preform again and he made very good saves. araujo did everything he could and was very good the only thing he needs to improve is his ball contol he made very good tackles in the first leg against psg and he and cubarsi fully pocketed oshimen. if you look att the games aroujo started compared to the ones he didnt start so can you see it is way better when he played

Lets keep in mind that Xavi never got to coach Barca Athletic or Never became an assistant to a first coach at Barca like Zidane did. He was picked right into coaching first team and he still improved the squad and won a league. 👆 Don't be tricked by what some Barca so called fans tell you. if a success is come quickly it will leave quickly too. Remember in 2008 spain had won THE EUROS before Barca's dominant era and before guardiola ever came around. So things were in the making already.

Xavi said he was leaving and again he turned around and said he wants to stay. Laporta should have said “No” to him but being a legend and Rafa Yuste wanted Xavi to stay too, Laporta said ok. Xavi said in Sushi gathering that he believed in the team and that he can create good things. And then turn around and gave that interview that we can’t compete because of financial problems. Obviously Laporta felt Betrayed and decided to sack him. So if there is any criticism against Laporta. It is because he believed in Xavi. No one begged Xavi bro.
At this point I hate hearing many Barcelona fan’s assessment of Xavi. The fans of this club are just entitled and talk as if they are still on the level they were pre-Covid 19. They have unrealistic expectations and don’t give credit where it is due. Maybe it’s because they thought Xavi would’ve been a Messiah or something. I know Koeman or Setien did not even get this much stick for being as bad as they were.

I always appreciate your comments but these rating are graded on a curve based on potential, not on what they acutually did
They are graded mostly on expectations. If I expect a lot and the did a lot, pretty good score but if I expected a lot and they didn’t meet them, bad score (and visa versa).

Sorry but u can’t rate Laporta because if this or that.. the most important thing is the economy of the club and so far it’s a 9/10. Decision on coaches, he hasn”t done anything wrong really, I think Flick is a great appointment. The way he dismissed a Xavi is shameful but nothing to do with his performance, he’ll be judged on whether Flick is the right appointment not Xavis dismissal. Laporta is all over the place atm but he ends up getting things right is what matters.
