Bonnie - How wonderful to be able to see this treasure of a book again. It is a stunner and I loved watching see you turn each page and describe what you used. Much appreciation!! Seth
Fabulous glue book, I luv how you put your pages come together, they are just so so interesting. Great ephemera, quotes and colour. Thank you so much for sharing, enjoyed going through it with you, Ali xx
I am a new subscriber. I appreciate your clear description of how you choose your collage elements. This is the second time I have watched this video. I think I’ll be watching it several more times to get the process for the spine. I am intrigued.
I have been dabbling in collage for a few months now. I loved seeing your book. You have a great eye for piecing together the different elements. Very inspiring! Tfs.
Fabulous collage book. The techniques are so well explained and very neatly done. A real pleasure to view. I'm so glad I was able to catch your post on FB. Now I'll be looking for more videos.
Patricia, I really appreciate your kind comments. I do plan to make more videos (turns out it's kind of fun!), but first I have some catching up to do after being away on vacation.
I have a junk journal under construction which I set aside for lack of encouragement. Thanks to your video, I'm inspired to pick up from where I left off. Thanks for your tips. Your stash of papers and tissues are stunning. Just subscribed to your channel!
I absolutely LOVE your work! I'm sad to see you stopped adding videos of your work. It's hard for me to find others who enjoy elements in their raw states without purposely distressing everything to death. Please consider making more. 😊👍🏻♥️
You are so kind, Amanda. I had some health issues this year, but I'm just about ready to rock and roll again. I hope to make some new videos soon. Thanks for the encouragement!
Bonnie!!!! Hi!!!! New subbie!!!! I just found you!!!! How exciting!!!! I LOVE this book!!!!! Love the way you explain everything!!!!! Looking forward to watching more!!!!!!!!!
Just finished my 3rd Junk Journal and really like the way you do yours. Thank you for all the great info. BTW....I was raised in Doraville. Parents lived there for 37 yrs. :)
I'm so glad it was helpful to you, Joyce! You should (as Nike says) JUST DO IT! I think collage is therapeutic, so even if I'm not happy w/results, I am happy to have worked on a collage project.
Your plea made me realize how long it's been since I posted! Thank you. Just posted a new video -- a nature journal -- yesterday. Appreciate your comments, neighbor!
Hi Bonnie! I came here from your Instagram .And i noticed that that was you! This video has been in my fav collage list and I've watched this video many times. Very colorful and beautiful. I really like your style❤. I found a lot of inspiration. Thank you for sharing. New subbie here!
WOW! Gorgeous Creation! I LOVE this style. Oh Bonnie, by sharing, you have given me a peek into a class I had only dreamed of. Due to health issues, travel isn't possible...but I can play with possibilities from your video!! Thank you so very much for lighting a new creative spark :o)
Thanks so much, Anne. Sorry you are having health issues. I understand, have had my share, too! Creating takes your mind off your troubles, doesn't it?! Works for me! Take care!
Yes, you do need to visit Random Arts! Lots of artsy things going on there. I'm dying to get back up there! You are lucky to be close by. It's several hours away from me.
Hi! I'm a new subscriber. Came across your channel and LOVED your journal! Can't wait to see what else you've done. I've just started making journals myself, so I found yours very inspiring... thanks for sharing!!! 😃🔆
I absolutely love this! However, I guess I’m a little challenged 😀. Could you do a video of how you constructed the hinges and attached the pages? Thanks
Love this journal! And I appreciate all the tips you've shared. I have a hard time with collage and layering work and I learned a lot from you today. :) -fellow JJJ member
I LOVE this! I've never seen anything exactly like this before and I think I'm in love. :-) Thank you so much for sharing. I just subscribed to your channel.
Harder to explain than to do... cut some skinny strips of card stocks the same height as your book, then fold them in half long-ways. Glue them together like an accordion and glue each book page to a strip of hinge. Hope that helps!
Hi Bonnie Love this idea and hope it will form my first completed (!) glue book art journal combo. I have trouble finishing! What paper did you use as a substrate please? Many thanks and Hapot Christmas wishes, if somewhat belated from Manchester UK
Bonnie I love love love your books so much I had to subscribe. You are so talented but you really inspired me. keep up the great content. By the way I have a sister named Bonnie and I am Connie, we never knew who our mother was calling so we both came when called. I think it was a plot.
Gorgeous!!!! I. Going to Hendersonville soon and will have to go to Saluda. After you glue the page to the hinge, do you glue the page that is on the back side of the hinge to it?
Yes, exactly! That way the hinges are always hiding behind the pages and not shown. Sadly, the wonderful store in Saluda has closed. The owner decided to take a much-deserved retirement. I will miss it when I can travel again ---
@Valuemama, I stopped for awhile because of some health issues, but I'm ready to get back to it. I've been making some things, but no videos -- but I'll be back. Thank you so much for the encouragement!
It's a hinge-type binding method, using tall, skinny strips of cardstock folded in half. Just glue the hinges together, and glue the pages to each side of the hinge fold. I'll try to explain better in a future video.
Bonnie - How wonderful to be able to see this treasure of a book again. It is a stunner and I loved watching see you turn each page and describe what you used. Much appreciation!! Seth

Thanks very much, Connie. I had to laugh about your mother's plot! Pretty sneaky!
I will miss it when I can travel again ---
very cute book!!
Thanks, Laura. Glad you stopped by.
Have you stopped making videos for RUclips? Would love to see more of your work.
@Valuemama, I stopped for awhile because of some health issues, but I'm ready to get back to it. I've been making some things, but no videos -- but I'll be back. Thank you so much for the encouragement!
Awesome book!
Thank you so much, Glenda. I appreciate your stopping by.
New subbie here! Love love love this book!! Did you use card stock for the pages?
Kelly, thanks so much! I did start each page using lightweight card stock as a base. I chose plain beige because I thought white would be too stark.
Beautiful work tfs huggz
Appreciate the kind words!
So fun to see this, Bonnie! I wish Seth Apter would do a class near me! (Chatt. TN)
Me too, Peggy! I drove several hours to take his class -- and would do it again in a heartbeat! He is the BEST.
Há! OK just saw the ending....and I think I get how to do it! 😄
Oh, good! I am sure I could explain it better. Will try again later --
What do you glue the cut outs on ?
I used a medium-weight beige card stock.
New subbie
Thanks for subbing, Elena.
I like the spine but Seth never gives or shows how is done.
It's a hinge-type binding method, using tall, skinny strips of cardstock folded in half. Just glue the hinges together, and glue the pages to each side of the hinge fold. I'll try to explain better in a future video.
