My first video flip-through (please be gentle!). This is a postal-themed junk journal I made using Post Office envelopes, vintage mail, vintage stamps, postal washi tape and business envelopes. Cassie, my cat, makes a cameo appearance. via RUclips Capture
I love it!
Awesome! I enjoyed seeing it. TFS. Tere
I just found this many years after it was posted. Lots of good ideas for a beginner like me.
A video that you made 5yrs ago was on RUclips and I enjoy your videos.I see you have not made one for awhile.Hope you are ok an you can make more videos.
Thank you, that was so inspiring and motivation for my grandchildren
I wish that you were still posting here, and hope that you are in good health, Bonnie B!
🌈🤍🖤👍
Hi Bonnie… We miss you. I just went through your videos and love your creativity. Will you be making new videos anytime soon?
You are so kind, Vicki. I have had some serious health challenges, but I hope to get back to artsy pursuits soon! Your comment encourages me, and I appreciate it! Thank you.
🖤🤍🌈💙
Wauw! Do you have a tutorial or a least the measures of this book??😀🤗
Thank you for looking! The cover is from a Reader's Digest Condensed Book with the spine sliced off. I used 5"x7" panel cards as a base for the pages because I had those on hand, but regular card stock cut to 5"x7" would have worked just fine. I do recommend card weight paper over thinner paper because of the wear and tear of turning the pages. I used large book rings (from Office Depot) to bind the pages. Hope this helps! If you have any other questions, just let me know and I'll be happy to answer.
Wow 🤩 I never saw this before! A great way to attach signature pages!
Gorgeous 🎉❤
What a great idea! These are really cute. I can't wait to make one. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! Glad you were inspired to make one. I'd love to see it when you're done! Come back and leave a link!
Very beautiful work and a creative way to use small boxes and game cards to make something beautiful for yourself or give as a gift to friends /family instead of throw old card games in the trash. 👍🏽🌷💙👋🏽👋🏽👋🏽🆒
Thanks so much! You can probably guess that I throw very little in the trash. 😃
Amazing junk journal. There is so much I can learn from you. So happy I found your Channel. Looking forward to many more
So many clever ideas. So glad I discovered your Channel. I love the use of birds because I love them too birds and flowers and butterflies. Where do you find all your vintage letters? They really make your Journal special
Thanks so much, Judie! I usually find vintage letters at estate sales, usually a small shoe box full at a time. Often they are torn and damaged, but that doesn't matter to me because I only uses pieces of them anyway. I do see bundles of old letters in antique stores, but at much higher prices.
I came across your channel just by accident. It was the one where you were showing us how to use a magazine. And I love making junk journals using as many found things as I can. I even make cards for my family using at least three used business envelopes. I have a three-ring binder that has protective sheets in it that hold swatches of color that I have cut from magazines. They make wonderful backgrounds for pages and tags and journal cards. Looking forward to being part of your junk Journal family
Great organizing idea, Judie. Thanks so much for sharing it. I appreciate your comments!
Glossy pages are a dealbreaker for me

Great Journal! I just subscribed and I hope you’ll stop by channel and become my “subbie friend” too! 😀
Hi Bonnie Love this idea and hope it will form my first completed (!) glue book art journal combo. I have trouble finishing! What paper did you use as a substrate please? Many thanks and Hapot Christmas wishes, if somewhat belated from Manchester UK

This is so pretty. I love your collage cards and all the pretty papers you've chosen. Sadly my Tuesday Morning went out of business. It was a favorite source for napkins and pretty paper. Thank you for taking the time to show us inside your lovely book! 💗
Thank you for your kind comments. Sorry you lost your Tuesday Morning store. The two that were closest to me have closed, but I can drive a little further and still get to one. I'm glad the whole chain didn't close.
Thank you
It was my pleasure, Lucy! It was such a fun project to play with. Hope you'll make one; if so, please post a flip-through!
I like the Lemonhead one
Thank you, Katie! I loved making that one. It was such a fun format.
I am a new subscriber. I appreciate your clear description of how you choose your collage elements. This is the second time I have watched this video. I think I’ll be watching it several more times to get the process for the spine. I am intrigued.
Great collages! I was just going through my list of subscriptions to thin them out and look who reappears! It’s so nice to see you, or rather your art again! You still have a unique style and impeccable workmanship :)
Thank you so much for your nice words! I'm glad you didn't give up on me. I hope to post more often because I have a lot of projects in the works.
Beautiful. You have such an eye for color!
Thank you, Jane. I really appreciate the compliment. Glad you liked the book!

Cool way to do a spine and great collage book. Thanks for sharing!
Love it! Your work incorporates so many natural elements. I love using playing cards too and pick them up everywhere. I also have those bird postcards from Amazon. So pretty. I love all things nature.

i love that ! look forward to more videos :)
Thank you, Melissa. I hope to make some more soon.
I think itʻs a nono to use the new envelopes for non mailing. I donʻt think they prosecute but prbly better to recycle old ones. Great first video!!
This one was actually damaged, so I recycled it!
@@bonnieb4994 perfect. It’s a shame not to reuse what we can. Love your kitty too. Keep up the good work.
