I opened the top of mine using a plastic clay knife 😂 I was scared to open it until I watched your video! Thank you! 👍 I highly recommend covering the beeper hole with tape if you want to make it quieter! Make pin holes in the tape if it's too quiet 😉 Now I don't wake the whole house when I fancy a late meal 😅
Thank you this show me the way to open that damn thing . I got a broken Power XL vortex 10 Qt from someone . They got the money back but they let them kept it. They throw it to me to see if i can fix it. The top on this one was made 4 piece . first was the black top. It was pop off. Use a very small chisel to pry it up. 2 screws hold the face plate for the touch scree. The safety switch is right behind that . That has clips on it . Then a ring that is screwed down to the main body shell. All that was wrong with it was the the safety was not plug in and a loose wire for the touch screen.
Very useful, thanks. Looking at another video, I think there may be a fuse along the blue wire, covered by protective sleeve? If that fuse has blown, then that could be a reason for the unit not working?
I found one in the dumpster today Andi t works I always wanted one after I seen my friends.im breaking it down and cleaning it.we all need to recycle I apriciate your video it helped me understand what I was getting into.
I need to clean the area around the back of the heating element. This video didn't disassemble the machine far enough to show me how to get to that.. or is that just not possible?
I just got one second hand. I tested it heading some frozen french fries which seemed to work fine. However the little red light doesn't light up - the one that's supposed to be in the middle of the animated blue fan lights. Not sure if I should worry about this or not. Anyone have thoughts on the subject? Thanks...
The red light doesn't seem to do anything. It's stays on during cooking, even at low temperatures when the heating element turns on and off 🤷 I wouldn't worry if there are no other problems.
has to check if the relay is passing current, or just test the resistor that heats the air, must be open, if that is the case it needs to be changed but not sure you will find one the same size and characteristics, I think start looking a at the relay

Do you know how to take apart the lower compartment to clean (near heating element)? I have a lot of oil buildup which causes smoke when in use.

Only problem with mine is that is not heating up.
Same here. Everything works just as it normally would, but not heating up.
That's the part that it needs to heat up the range. Now it works perfectly.
