This, this program got me through covid lock down, a disabling accident, the loss of my husband 😢 I could watch, rewatch and just let it take me away. Like so many of my US countrymen I saw TT for the first time during lockdown. I immediately became hooked, and it saw me through the loss of my dearest friend. I have wracked my brain trying to tease out this show's therapeutic properties and simply cannot.
Much the same for me - got me through COVID, the illness and passing of my mother.... Here's to better, brighter days!
You have to love Professor Lewis' humility. She wins a British Academy medal, but when asked her personal highlight outside of Time Team, she recounts her work with students. We need many, many more Carenza Lewises in this world; it would be a far better place for it.
I’m loving the TT reboot as much as I love the older shows. TT is an international treasure!

Great year seeing Tony back was the best
As a family of three generations weer loved Time Team on television, wee were guitted when it was cancelled, we'd lost an intellectual link with dad/ grandpa and a great talking point of history, legends, family history etc. I was so pleased to find it on RUclips, first as the gold season of repeats and now the new team, wehich thankfully includes many of the originals too. Thank you for the old memories and the new being created
🤔 My favourite Time Team memory of 2023 was when I paid my 1-yr Patreon membership. Knowing I was supporting something so incredible, being a cog in a large year-long program of research/investigation/preservation/documentation of past lives & events. Yeah, a proud & memorable time for me now and for many years to come. 🙏 Thank you for the excellent journey, Time Team.

I discovered Time Team during covid lockdowns, and enjoy them all the time. Bless you all for your years and years of hard work and making archeology so entertaining. And to all the folks that have worked to bring it back thank you from us late discoverers across the pond for keeping it alive via RUclips and patreon.
I just want everyone from Time Team to know that 30+years since it's inception it's still inspiring and teaching me new things and that it's so very refreshing to watch such educated and passionate people discuss history. ❤ much love from NY. As someone who lacks people in their life w such intellectual interests, it's almost as if you guys have become sort of like friends.

I loved Naomi Sewpaul's "Mick Aston" memorial sweater/jumper. Even if it is not an actual tribute to the great Mick, it brought back many fond memories of seeing him on Time Team.

Well done, another successful year! I've loved seeing you navigate the move from TV to RUclips/online media, i grew up with Time Team and it was at least partially responsible for my love of history. Keep on doing what you guys and girls do best and we'll keep watching. I agree with Matt regarding the 9 day episode format, im sure funding is more difficult but the additional depth it allows for is really great fantastic.

I would love to see you do a live on site. Just a sort of day in the life of how we do our job. Or something along that line while you're doing archeology.

Hey John, from CANADA BC! You and your team has uplifted my connection to real humans being real archeologists being themselves; no Hollywood spin. Mick’s rainbow sweaters and act of rebellion from producers and the playfulness is much appreciated, still enjoying replaying the older ones, developing the technology for Virtual imagery and seeing everyone age so well. I feel connected to my mum’s heritage and often wish I could be transplanted to your awesome Britain. ❤❤❤

What would I like for 2024? More new sites would be nice... (Hint, hint!) But also having a re-run of pre season 12 shows... For example, Turkdean, Braemar, Finnlaggan,... And the programme where Mick and Phil tested out a hypocaust heated floor - oh, sorry, the bath house in the trees. Perhaps some sort of expedition crew could have a look back at some of them where excavation has carried on.
If you're in the UK they're available (except series 9 for some reason) on All4 😃 otherwise as far as I understand, they are available in most countries on TT Classics channel here on RUclips.

Are Tony and Phil still with us I know Mick has passed as well as several others but I haven't heard anything from Tony or Phil on the show. just curious wishing that hoping that they're OK. happy New Year to the entire time team cast and crew past and present and future.
New to this series. The current one is enjoyable, but the old “classic” version much more informative. Newer shows seem to be a lot more fluff and supposition, with a few archeological facts thrown in. I haven’t yet found why the 3 day deadline is put on the digs. Seems a lot of rushed work and disturbance and some damage to important sites and in some cases without a lot to show for it. The work would benefit by more time and thoroughness.

It’s clear that Phil Harding’s name is not to be uttered. If there has been a falling out, I am quite sad. I love the TT family, old and new. Not being able to acknowledge Phil’s existence and contributions is just a shame.

TT’s going to do a segment about female landscape artists/designers of the 19th-20th centuries in 2024. I can’t wait! PLEASE tell me that Gertrude Jeckyll is going to be featured. One of the very best if not THE BEST landscape artists in British history. Sorry Capability Brown, Gertrude’s work puts you to shame!
