I attended the temple about three to four times when I lived in Trinidad and in my opinion I was amazed as how it was built. I still would visit whenever I am in Trinidad.
Jai Siewdass Sadhu. Good composition. The life story of Siewdass Sadhu will always be great History for all children of the Jahaajees and other people.
Dear George, I always look forward to hearing your compositions, it’s full of a true story about our history. Keep on composing my friend, one good day our government will recognize your contribution you making for our nation and pride.
@@shakti8550 Thanks a lot. I try to make my songs as close to reality as I can. There were some historical details that were unclear - the research gave conflicting information - so I had to compose the lyrics in a "vague" way in order not to say something that might be historically correct. Have a pleasant day.
Great history done in amazing fusion..the best.don't stop there . Do one on Reinzi ...Panday...bhadase..seukaran..Naipaul...capildeo ..all for posterity
Thanks. Glad you liked it. There is so much of our history that has been neglected by the former colonial as well as the present day "authorities". Maybe they don't want anybody to "rock the historical boat." Stay strong, bro.
This reminds me of the calypso Jahagi Bhai. Get help on writing the music score and lyrics. Gregory Ballantyne and Leston Paul( alive) comes to mind. Get funding from the ministry of culture and from the Indian community also
@@edmundpersad6641 Jahaji Bhai was a masterpiece of national unity. Sorry, but I compose and arrange my music, write my own lyrics, and fund my own productions. Humble obeisance for honoring "The Son Of Trinidad & Tobago" Sadhu Siewdass who kept Indian traditions alive in the face of all adversities in his time on Earth! Thank you so much! Namaste, Sita Ram to all team members in this production. 🙏🌻
Thanks Tara. You are right - our young people need to know that holding on to your dreams and aspirations is important in achieving your goals. Have a pleasant day.
Thanks. I apreciate your comments. A lot of our history has been neglected, omitted from our history books and therefore lost. I guess the people in charge don't want the general public to know the facts. Have you seen my video "The Hosay Massacre"? It is the same story - history left out of the history books.
Hello George. How timely! Today (June 19) is the celebration of Juneteenth. I've taken the liberty of forwarding your video to my contacts here in Canada, the US and even in Trinidad. I was totally ignorant of the story behind the mandir. I always learn something from your songs and I especially like your facial expressions to emphasize the words or actions. I also appreciate the setup of your surroundings to bring the viewer into your realm. You are an epic storyteller in song and rhythm. Thank you for sharing the talents with which you have been blessed.❤
Hello Eve Sampson. Thanks for your comments. I really appreciate your forwarding the video since many people do not know about certain historical events in T&T. I am happy to hear that you appreciate my music - I just try to tell the story. Have a pleasant day.
Love the way you put it across. Education of our history is a light to help dispel ignorance and cross cultural barriers. Well done. You have now given us a us a reason and a way to celebrate Sadhu's legacy.
