Whether or not we reach what you aptly call a "state of maturity" depends first and foremost on us - both as individuals and as a people - as well as on the people we choose to represent us and to lead the nation forward. The political/racial divide has failed, so we must, as you say, make bipartisan decisions". I am confident that, if Jamaica, Barbados and Guyana are moving forward, we in T&T can do so too.
