    Dick Van Dyke was my favorite TV show in 1962 when I was 7 but the Have Gun Will Travel dude also had a great show for youngsters.

    @10:51 min. That is such brilliant situational comedy writing -- when Sally is served the coffee and is about to throw THAT LUMP OF SUGAR into her coffee.

    Great writing by Bill Idelson. Beyond clever. Bill appeared in several episodes as Herman Gimschler, Sally's milquetoast boyfriend.

      She didn't "get" 'love letters' from "Joe Coogan" (the boyfriend turned "priest"), she had his sonnets, written to GOD, in a shoebox in her closet. She only thought they were to her, until she read them after seeing him again (in that episode), and understood he had written them to God.

    Anyone else noticed that Laura's dinners seem to always have celery? And full length stalks too. Wonder who came up with that idea and why?🤔

      Having celery sticks, pickles, etc was fairly common back then at meals. Celery use to be a cheap vegetable before idiots started juicing it and drove up the prices.

      Actually I know I have seen at least one episode where Buddy is insulted as being fat. I guess for the show anyway, if you weren't built like Rob or Laura you risked being called fat.

    Wow so glad this is on RUclips and I wish I could meet this type of woman she is loyal faithful and caring not like today's women who try to destroy men and take over and sleep with as many guys as they can and are narcissistic and just want money "options" How do I teleport myself back to this time!

    the writers office was kinda dumpy...intentionally so, but look at the inside of the office door...its exquisite.
    the wood grain is fabulous...unless its formica of course

    Rob said they were going to the den, then went thru the door leading to Richie’s room? Or does that door lead to a hallway? Seems like a weird layout.

      SCRIPT.....nothing but SCRIPT, not the true person.
      It's nothing but stupid television "comedy," no truth in it....especially this show, where lies and deceit were written into at least 99% of the episodes....just like today's "reality" tv, which has nothing but lies, as well.
