ty to refrag and zhopter for the gl in chat. i feel like i can concentrate a lot better on the game now after my break. wasnt really focused on the end result in this one or being the "fastest" so i was able to relax a lot and just flow. had some close calls. lasers in erz1 were very close to touching me and the game let me go through a laser in erz2. oh and black core 2 bruh i still havent learnt that boss at all lmao im always just winging it.
ill probs do more attempts of ultimate for fun but no idea if ill actually end up improving this time or not. just want to keep improving my focus and play so i can tackle a sub 20/19 any% even stronger than before.

It's nice seeing this category get some love. How hard did you find Ultimate compared to any%?
I attempted this two years ago and struggled a lot. Got to black core 3 4 times and died every single time.
With this record though, I got it on my first ultimate attempt stream! I'm better than I was back then so that helps but I think mainly what helped is knowing what my weak areas are so I could decide where to be safe and slow and where I can afford to play it risky and fast. Definitely a lot different than any% where you want to be just non stop speeding. Luck also helped a fair bit in the lasers in egg rock 2 lol.

Yep! I made it myself. It's mostly music from the Air Gear OST and some Jet Set Radio stuff.

@@novakami935 uploaded and dropped a link in the desc! music might not loop so well in some places. didnt really bother to fix it since im usually not in acts long enough for looping to be a problem lol but yeah hope you like it
