I loved this episode. You & Damh are a great double act, Damh’s fast dance was just brilliant. I too use the Blue Peter method when making things. I’m looking forward to updates on the progress of your seedlings in the weeks to come. Perhaps Damh could serenade them to help them to grow. Parsley stems are very tasty, I cut them up & pop them into bouquet garni or sprinkle them on soups & risotto. Great memories of watching The Herbs. Great fun watching you both. Blessings to you both💚💚✌️✌️
LOL that was sooo funny, good job I've got my TENA pants on 😂 Ceri, you should be on Gardeners World, best ever ❤ The Herb Garden was one of my favourite kids progs. Great planting tips though, look forward to seeing the produce 🌱🌱xx
Super brilliant vlog from John Noaks and Valerie singleton. Next week can we have Tracy island and a visit from a baby elephant. But seriously learnt loads about planting seeds and it's motivated me to get mine sorted out.❤
You two are infectious!! I remember well the chaotic Blue Peter presentation style from my dim and very distant youth. You captured it perfectly. I spent most of your vlog laughing my head off. You are a total tonic, you really are, for a cold, grey day in Shropshire!! I particularly liked the foil reflector, very Heath Robinson and worthy of a gold Blue Peter badge. Happy days! Keep up the good work. I can't wait to see the results of your labour. Blessings to you both. Debs X
I love you both!It was fun watching you.Blessings on your new babies(seedlings)I have never had great luck doing this. Can't wait to see what's next.....
I thought you were going to sit a mirror behind the propagation box, Ceri, but clever you.. You made yourself a gentle version of a solar oven :D Wonderful!! ☺👌👍... Blue Peter.. I've never heard of it (I guess it's a bit like Playschool but with an older audience in mind), but Google just told me we are the same age.. that IS a long-running program!! :) The growing part is one of the most magically heartwarming thing you can do.. When a tiny seedling peeps up at you from the soil it is a very special feeling. Nothing quite like witnessing a new life beginning. There's barely a day can go past where I'm not in the shade house at least long enough to pluck some tiny weeds out of my beloved plant friends' personal space :) The person who so tenderly sows those seeds deserve to look after themself, too.. which sometimes means spilling potting mix on the kitchen or dining day in extremes of cold or hot weather.. That's the rule where I live 🤣.. I'm always pretty excited about the Australia's tallest gum tree species having just about the tiniest of all the plant seeds in the world.. Proves that size means less than some people might think ☺
I so agree about the magic of sowing seeds and watch life grow. Pure joy and makes me even more connected to this earth. The foil, what a great idea! Hope it works out ♥️
LOVED your film, chaos transforming into poetry in motion as you lovingly sowed side by side 🌱🌱🌱 My fingers have been literally itching to plant some seeds this week, seed compost was frozen solid, & now still thawing indoors. I add a pinch of dried chilli to my cocoa, it truly warms you up! Hamberg Parsley grew for me as a short lived perennial, i was trying to save some seed but, unlike regular parsley 🦁 it refused to bolt! Did the same with a parsnip a few years ago, it grew to towering heights in its second year & produced magnificent umbles of flowers, insects loved it, i saved a few of the seeds, but most of them self set, & had an amazing germination rate the next spring, Mother Nature is truly amazing! Looking forward to seeing little green shoots of hope very soon. Happy gardening 🌱/|\🌱
🦁Lovely video, thank you! I especially enjoyed the reminiscing about Blue Peter, sticky back plastic and Watch with Mother! Good luck with your seeds, may your garden grow bountiful!
I love you guys! Thank you for this wonderful video! You and Damh make a good team! I'm going to try out your cardboard/foil invention Cerri. I live in Vermont and the climate is a lot like the UK I think. Good luck with your little seedlings! 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌞♥
Oh, the seed packet incident ... priceless ... along with the sealant episode ... adulterated custard lolol ... I can sense all sorts of comedic upcoming videos.
26:43 I’ve never sowed seeds and I learned so much watching you both. You truly need lots of seeds if you’re growing your own food. This was such a fun video with Damh helping you. Can’t wait to see the harvest.
Ah that cheered me right up Ceri and Dave! I can relate so well to this! I grow and Max cooks and we have the same issue, me encouraging to actually use my produce. I’m also a confused seed hoarder! Nice bit of nostalgia too 😂. Happy growing!
What a hoot you two are.😅 Used to grow veg yesrs ago when my boys were small and currently just have a small shared drying green. But hubby was talking today about building me some raised beds to get me started again. Not sure he knows what hes getting into ! 😅❤ Fabby video.
Parsley root is good in soups. :) for ex: chicken noodle soup, with carrots and a parsley root. The video was super fun ! I've highly enjoyed the introduction and the protips, took notes ^^
Cerri, any chilli/peppers seeds left? Send a few to me to Scotland, ( l pay the postage )l don't have any chilli this year. I'm starting to vlog my allotment this year, it would be fun!

This is comedy gold! 😂 I needed a good chuckle today-and a nudge to start gardening. Big love and many blessings from California! 💕🌱🧙🏻♀️
You missed the golden opportunity with that solar reflector to say "here's one I prepared earlier..." Great video as ever.
Oh my soul Cerri I cracked right up when Dave walked in lol. I loved this it was so much fun. Thank you so much for sharing ❤️ 💕 💗
How inspiring and fun. I’ll have to start sorting seeds now. Thank you, from the Salish Sea, Washington State.
Love this ❤

Thanks to you both for this video, it really cheered me up big time after a rough day😊❤
Height-wise, you two are about on par with me and my husband. 😊
Ah that cheered me right up Ceri and Dave! I can relate so well to this! I grow and Max cooks and we have the same issue, me encouraging to actually use my produce. I’m also a confused seed hoarder! Nice bit of nostalgia too 😂. Happy growing!
Loved watching this
Had a good laugh so cheery.

Here’s one I made earlier - love it !!

I want to hang out with y'all! Next time you're in Ohio... 🦊🤗
I love you guys, you’ve really made my day!
Who knew seed sowing could be so fun! 😂
Cerri, maybe give away some of your yummy excess crops to the homeless shelters since your friends tend to cut off your generosity? Y'all are sweet.
Wow I didn't realize Damh was a Giant.
My goodness, Dave, if you were any taller we'd have to give you a callsign for air traffic control! =P
I too have a bit of a seed problem.
Hey everyone, it's our friend, Damh the Bard! 😅
Have you tried winter sowing in the allotment? Maybe for brassica and such?
Yes, I have a few bits and bobs in the ground right now. I intend to do more this year. :)
Loads of fun. For interest why did you use foil on your reflector and not just white paper
I didn't have a lot of white paper about and the foil was just easy and available. :)
Cerri, any chilli/peppers seeds left? Send a few to me to Scotland, ( l pay the postage )l don't have any chilli this year. I'm starting to vlog my allotment this year, it would be fun!
Brilliant 😂.........I thought dave was upstairs doing druidcast , slightly off subject is that calke green on your walls ? Xxx /l\
Amazon box repurposed!
Hey Oscar!
Appropro of NOTHING, I have to know WHAT IS THE PAINT COLOUR ON YOUR WALLS?!
That's weird...I was just saying to my husband that I wanted to know what colour that is!
Me too!@@mariecarter2569
It is called Olive green from B&Q :)
@@GreenGrimoire Thank you ma'am!
Thank you for another wonderful episode! Lots of giggling, going on on my end, and I really needed that today. Many blessings to you both.
