A Walk in the Woods

- After a hectic and stressful few days, we went for a much-needed walk in one of our favourite woods. Oscar the Dog was delighted. When life gets a bit much there are very few things that can soothe the soul as well as communing with the spirits of nature and the gentle energy of trees.
Also, one of Damh's tunes as we walk it could not be a more appropriate song if it tried.

Thank you for your beautiful video, we got a new puppy this year ,a rough coated Jack Russell Terrier called " Merlin " and what a difference he has made to our lives 😊 seeing the world through a puppy's eyes and the smallest thing like finding a snail shell or pine cone can send him into a zoomie of delight which is what we all should be like.Blessed be xxxShaz

A truly beautiful woodland, thank you so much for sharing your walk. I feel lucky & blessed to have 2 woods just 10 minutes walk from where I live, one at the western edge of the village & the other to the east. They are both lovely & full of wildlife including red squirrels & deer. I was able to have a tree dedicated this year, in the wood to the west, to my Labrador Max on the 20th anniversary of his death. The wood is looked after by The Woodland Trust Scotland & is where we always went for our daily walks. It holds so many memories of him for me & I still miss him after all this time. When I walk in this wood I can feel his presence with me & I feel happy that his spirit is with me & looking after me. Blessings to both of you & Oscar.💚💚✌️✌️

I love the smell of wild garlic and all the wildlife sound then going back a night to see the different wildlife can't beat nature

Not sure if this is what he means by the lyric, but I believe "the wisest people I know" means the trees. That's exactly how I feel when I vent to the leafy beings. They always give the best advice. Great camera work, Cerri. Felt like I was there, and I really needed a walk in the woods from my couch.
Many years ago, long before I became a druid, I was being bullied at school. I kept it from my parents and told nobody, except for an oak tree I met on the way home each day. I would sit at the base of his trunk and tell him everything. He would surround me with love and understanding, then I could go home and seem fine.
