- You don't need to break the bank to get some great looking terrain. Just shop around your local dollar store around Holloween and you can score some awesome bones that can be converted and enhanced to make some great looking props and terrain.

If you've got money, the aquarium section of the pet store has a lot of great minis/toys.
I have a big bag of coconut fibres from there that are great for basing things with!
Found a crocodile skull piece that way, was awesome on the table.
That's what I use for my Tzeentch realm flora and some random trees painted up too. LoL
it's like a secret weapon these bone decorations to be used for all types of cool crafts but doe the new Warcry terrain, awesome idea
I’ve always wondered what the clerks think of me week after week as I peruse the dollar store shelves eyeballing almost every item…creepily pondering how I can turn everything into terrain.
Those turned out incredible, getting major star ship trooper vibes for some reason. Excellent build Knarb
Right on. Yeah some of the bug looking ones have that style!
Would be cool to play a Tyranids Horde deep of game on it.
This shows the bare bones of the build, so very thorough. Excellent!
I see what you did there... Haha. Cheers!
The first week of Nov is like a Terrian crafters black friday, when stores all over discount holloween items to get rid of it now that its over
A fan four feet in front of the window, according to science, is the best distance to push air through the window.
Thats a good number to remember. Thanks!
I love seeing dollaramas in videos idk why but it feels like a little Canadian Easter egg
*drool* at that dollarama.....
For a while now I've been meaning to turn one of these into a huge dragon skeleton terrain piece that someone has turned into a domicile. My idea is that some grizzled old retired warrior had his home, his family and his entire village burned to ash and swore a vendetta on the dragon, hunting it across half the world. Upon finally slaying it in the wilderness, having no home left and nobody to go back to, he decided to live in it's carcass, stripping it's flesh for food, building a campfire under the shelter of its ribcage and living out his days as a hermit.
Hey, I know that Dollarama.. I lived in the same vicinity until recently. Small world. Love your terrain Knarb. Great videos, thank you.
Small world! Cheers.
Great Terrain! The Fremen Astra Militarum(Imperial Guard) look Great!
Nice, smooth, easy and ver playable. Great video!!!!
I'm amazed you have fingers with that level of tool control.
You and me both
These are really useful ideas for a lost world/dead planet scene
All this desert terrain is making me want more Dune! These look great Knarb 😁
His minis kinda look like Fremen too :D
They were heavily inspired by fremen. Cheers!
Thanks Terran!
Watch the 2000 Syfy miniseries. It's free here on yt.
Those incantations... I felt their pull
If you can find them, some of the other bone decor options are also really good. I've been working, slowly, on a giants graveyard with their plastic skulls and bones along with some of the skeleton garland the Dollar Tree carries. While I have a few completed pieces, I tend to have other projects that will get more use that gets in the way...plus, I underestimated the lack of interest in painting more bones after my old undead/Vampire Counts army that I worked on for the last few years of Warhammer Fantasy...
Right on! Yeah it can be daunting to finish big projects like that.
Around Halloween time, I like to buy those little led candles for neat lighting effects
You darn Canadians and your amazing dollar stores! American ones aren't too bad but they're nothing compared to Dollarama lol
Fantastic.
Fantastic job; there’s alway plenty of that stuff around this time of year!
Awesome terrain build I need to make some for gaslands. Very cool video also.
This was great! A straightforward idea executed really really well. Thanks.
You're very welcome!
A great repurposing to those dollar store toys!
You incantation worked on me! :-) Very Cool project (as always!)
Even on my days off i cannot escape sobeys. Great build tho
Looks great, Knarb! I wish I had bones in my dollar store but halloween isn't really a thing here in Japan.
Magnifique 👍👍👍
Nice one
Brilliant interpretation to the collab tho I bought similar items with a similar plan. Get out my head Knarb. 🤣
if you want bones that are closer in size to what a dnd mini would have, usingthe finger bones of real chickens, ducks, squirrles, etc would work. i think you can buy chicken feet at some markets so if you rotted them down youd get lots of bones for projects! the plastic toys don't have bones small enough to be useful
Literally just bought a bunch of those yesterday! Though I got the dragon ones as I have plans for a northern waste, dragon boneyard board for middle earth. Will get to it one day :P love dollarama
I got one of the dragon ones too! Will use it in a future project.
This is really cool.
Fun and quick. Looks great too.
They look amazing
These could be really cool for kit bashing some Tyranids or some kind of dnd skeleton boss
Yeah, they might be a tad big for 28mm models, maybe for some of the bigger units and monsters.
@@KnarbMakes i subed will be checking out some more of your videos. I only have one upload so far but will be uploading more soon!
Pretty epic
very cool
Thanks!
So cool, can't wait to try this. Your guard conversions are awesome as well.
Great idea 👍🏼💜
Wow, those came out great!
That’s incredible stuff with something so easy!
Cool
I loved those skulls. Wish we had those pieces here in brazil too.
These look so cool. And a really nice idea
Awesome, simple build! I’ll have to try that baking soda and super glue.
Nice. quick n easy. Love it
Cheers!
Inspired work, superb and very atmospheric!👍
Thanks!
Love it you’ve given me a great idea 👌😎 frec
Nice one K-Narb
Thanks Bill
These are great. Very useful. I"m glad NOORB is winning.
Whos this Noorb?
ah yes, *spider ribs*
Didnt make much sense to me, but hey, good bones!
I love how Nick is now known for the goop
The things he did to that Goop. I'll have nightmares for the rest of my life...
@@CajunCraftastrophe I've had intermittent nightmares since that video released
@@DungeonMasterpiece I tried washing my eyeballs... it did NOTHING! : )
@@CajunCraftastrophe man I was just about to do that. Thanks for the heads up!
GOOP
damn! time to hit up Dollarama.
Its the best time of year to do it!
I hope what I picked up will work. It’s not a floor tile but a vinyl wall tile. It’s pretty bendy so not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing.
getting paint and glue to stick to that crappy plastic is easy, just dust the surface with a blow torch. just let the fire wash over it, not long enough to warm it up tho, careful lol
That music is so hard harkening to dune
I dug the vibes when I heard it. Had to find a use for it.
Another way to do this all year round is toy Dinosaur Bones
Brah...this is saf!!
Spider skeletons. Checks out.
Mmmmmm, bones 🤤
You want me to send you some?
These are so cool, but here in the UK our Halloween tat is not great
Yeah Bill was complaining about that too. He still found some stuff.
Great work! I like the fire drill.. which I guess was not a drill, but an actual fire. Grit sieve = Great tip! Your airbrushing color choices and overall paint job really nailed the feeling of bones. My favorite is the gigantic human skull in the ground, it totally reminds me of that old picture floating around the internet of a supposedly gigantic bipedal skull. Fantastic work, Knarb, it was a pleasure to collaborate!
It was totally NOT just an accidental fire. Right! Cheers T-Nu
What was it that you sprayed on the bases when you glued it? If you don't mind me asking. :D
CA glue accelerator
My dollar stores and thrift stores near have cool shit in them.
Great, surprisingly easy to make job! :D
I also gotta ask what the minis at the end are from
Thanks! The minis are my own design. Made them earlier this year. See ruclips.net/video/2sd3tR--oLk/видео.html
I... had missed this video... damn YT not telling me! :O
Yo, what was that music used in 4:12? Great video btw!
What dollar store did you go to? I can’t find anything close to these
How many horrible cutting wounds have you sustained?! PS: Looks great.
From this project? Surprisingly none.
Can someone name the premium vinyl "____" thing for me. I'm really confused what those are because there's no way those are "premium vinyl tiles" lol
Just marketing speak maybe, the vinyl tiles are just slightly thicker than the cheapo ones. Is that what you meant?
Lets Go Brandon!
