[READ]: Haha, I did MAJOR research before buying it. I was basically torn between a 350 4T or a 300 2T. But the ultimate decision was made when I asked myself what I want to achieve with the 2nd bike. I want to progress (with my sumo). And by having a 4 stroke with the same characteristics as my 500 EXC means that the riding style is much more similar than a 2 stroke. I have riden 2 strokes before and yes I feel like the riding style is way different. Like im addicted to engine braking for both wheelies and racing. So I cant see myself not having that at this point in my life. #deep xD haha thanks for watching tho and reading this. ur a true champ and I hope u have a nice day!

Clean the complete fuel System( inline Filter, tankfilter, injector ) and buy a new startplug. Then it will run like new 🤟🏻😉

Change the sparkplug first. If that doesnt work out, do a rundown on the fuel system, clean and check everything. If that doesnt work, check wiring. Keep us updated!
Maybe the throttle position sensor is the issue? Read a lot about that a while back. Fooligan had the same problem on his 2016 450, the dealer fixed the TPS issue and it worked fine again after that. Qualitymuffin/Stenbraten also had issues with the TPS on his previous bike

Try changing the spark plug that’s what happened on my 450 sxf, I guess they somehow get a hairline crack in them and then when they get slightly warm they ground out and it shuts off

Check throttle position sensor is set correctly, and make sure the fuel system is clean. Sounded like it was flaming out or not getting fuel.

Just bought A similar 350 as a companion to my 450 exc. Ive just gone through the fuel system, new filter in the tank, cleaned the fuel injection and the little filter in the fuel line. Spins like a kitten. maybe its the same as yours. Or maybe its electrical. You should check the voltages at the battery when its running, to see if something is not normal there. thats easy for a start at least. greetings from Denmark.
A little side note, check to battery poles, sometimes there not 100% connected.

There is tiny filters in the fuel line mate to stop muck from getting into the ecu disconnect the line take out the filter blow out with air compresor and start it it should work fine had the same problem with my dads 2013 sxf 250

Spark plug, battery ground cable under the seat might have corrosion where it touches the subframe, fuel filters may be dirty, injector may be dirty, ecu problems
Probably something with the fuel pump. Maybe even just changing the filter will help
does it idle better if it gets warm? if so it might need some valve adjustings. but it might just need some service as all the other comments says.
Yoo BLDH, check ground wires on your bike, battery. could be oxidise ! only looks like electric issue
the clear lining drys out if the tank was empty so clean it out and replace the feul filter
Du får ladda upp lite fler sumo-sundays när du bara crusar senare i sommar :) väldigt trevligt att kolla på. Behöver inte ens vara redigerat
I had a problem with mine only 13 hrs. used. fuel pump had been ben rebuilt. they did a crap job so it got a second rebuild. fine now!
some thing to due with your fuel or ignition, it sounds like its miss firing but then it would most likely not even start so try like most of your comments say, clean the whole fuel system and replace the spark plug, should do the trick. if not, then maybe the timing is of and you need to look at the timing chain or camshafts, but that wil not be the case because it would not run or run much worse!

Low battery voltage? I have heard that if battery level is low the injectors wont run perfect.

I had a similar problem on my 690 and i fixed it by removing some corosion from the ground cable that's attached to the battery. Hope it works!

Do the easy ones first, Drain the old fuel, clean the entire fuel system, change spark plug, check wiring (main terminals etc)
In line fuel filter dirty or injector take off fuel line where it goes to your tank and in the line is a tiny small filter clean it replace it or throw it away then try again

Might be the ECU fucking with you, shouod check tge valves, and prob the piston aswell. It'll be good after that

Yoooo! I had this exact same problem with my 350! Watch my videos and see. It was a tear in the spark plug boot causing the spark to short out. These engines have very little space to pull the spark plug boot out causing you to pull them out sideways and tear the boot. I always grease my plugs when pulling them out and putting them back in now. Check the boot for a tear. Mine was a tiny little tear. This was a very frustrating problem to diagnose.
Check your sparkplug, then change all filters in your fuel line and clean your injektor! Maybe you have got an problem with TPS Sensor, but this thing should be checked by an KTM Mechanic. These guys are a pain in the ass to calibrate without the KTM software.
You could've gotten this chinese bike, gpx fse 450, people seem to like gpx bikes so guess they're fine, costs less than this new ofc, but has lil less powah, i think 450 makes around 43hp

Tja, kolla ifall statorn ger ut rätt mängd ström, hade en själv där statorn inte gav ut tillräckligt vilket gjorde att den startade men dog ganska direkt inpå

How would a 350 excf perform As a supermoto for the streets ? They are much cheaper then a 500 where i life And They only have Like 5HP less then a 450
I have ridden tried this actually! well. with 14-52 (stock) the comfy no-stress speed is 70 km/h but still being able to do 5th gear wheelies at 70 km/h. So for a stunt bike / just on smaller roads i think it is really good and has a lot of potential. I think you could gear it towards more topspead and still have a good sumo. 14-52 is enduro gearing.

Fuel pump may have gone bad. Put fresh gas in it first though
Simple solution to your problem. I assume its a bad ground in a battery coz it drained it. Clean the contacts and you are good to go

why dont you drive in winter whit supermoto. i drive winters in finland whit my aprilia sx 50 2t moped just get winter tyres and dont break whit front break you will be good. and i think that ktm has something whit spark or fuel system try chancing sparkpulg
cause his supermoto is more expensive than a 50cc 2t moped. He litterally said why he wasnt using his main bike. He wants a new one to toss around during off-season.

When was the valves checked? They usually don’t move, but you never know.
Change the sparkplug.

Too much for a bike with 100hrs, you do piston at 80hrs engine after 2 pistons or it will blow up and give you all sorts of problems
these things will probably do 300h with no problem when trail riding. Racing is another side tho..
