    Just finished watching the entire playlist. Your presentation was top notch as well as your videography, descriptions of what you were doing and why in each episode were extremely helpful. One thing I would like to have seen you do was install some sort of edging to separate the lawn from the stone border. Great job I learned a lot, OBTW I hope that Bennie quit smoking!

      Nice, glad you liked it! I would have liked to use some kind of border along the stones as well, but the decorative stone was an add on and already over the budget which the customer wanted to spend so no edging unfortunately... And Benny has not quit smoking yet, fingers crossed that he does some day! ✌

    I know this video is a year old but holy sh** that patio looks so clean with that poly sand color and especially with the stone apron

    What an excellent job! You two work fantastically together. I stumbled across your channel looking for instructions on how to install pavers. I wanted to see if this was something I could do myself. I am fully confident yet. Time to watch some more projects you have done.

    This job really looks great! And that black polymeric sand looks perfect! I'll have to use something similar on my job at home when the rain stops. Nicely done fellas! And tell Benny to ax the cigs!😁 Cause we care of course. Take care brothers.

    Yee guys are doing some nice clean work …. I enjoyed that series as I’m trying to get to know how to do my own patio in Newfoundland …….. you should think about getting some customers out at the end every few jobs to get their feedback on camera 👍

      We have quite a few different soil types depending on where you are here in Massachusetts. This stuff was full of round stones of all sizes, but the soil itself was great ✌🏻

    How much lower was the patio than the grass? Have a situation like this but my end product is about 5-6 inches lower. Might be too much to just lay stone around for a fix.

    Only thing I would have added would be steel edging all the way around because edging the grass along the chipped stone is going to be a p.i.t.a trying not to send stones flying. But the steel edging would be quite the additional cost for the customer.

    • @TheChristianHardscaper
      @TheChristianHardscaper  2 года назад +1

      I totally agree, but the cost of that was not in the customers budget. Even the stone apron was an add on that just went over the original budget. Maybe in the future though if he gets sick of weed whacking stones… 🤣✌🏻
