    Have you tried techniseal’s structure bond instead of the tubes of adhesive? I’m still trying to figure out which is better. Also, do you seal any of your paver projects after? I’ve never done any sealers but I’m wondering if I should be.

    • @TheChristianHardscaper
      @TheChristianHardscaper  Год назад

      I have not tried that, how does it seem to work for you? and I do not seal pavers. I would if a customer wants it, but there is risk involved with not applying it right and even when you do, its a annual / Bi-annual thing you will have to do. So I don't usually recommend it. If you keep the patio clear of debris and the pavers stay dry most of the time, they will last a long time without sealer. ✌

    • @danw7430
      @danw7430 Год назад +1

      @@TheChristianHardscaper Its a little pricey but like the structure bond. I used it on a few fire pits and to build my grill island instead of mortaring all of the blocks together. I agree with avoiding the sealer. Too risky just for an extra couple hundred bucks worth of work. Thanks for the great videos. I’ve been watching them in the morning and I end up using your tips the same day I watch them. • @TheChristianHardscaper
      @TheChristianHardscaper  Год назад +1

      I almost never estimate per sq ft price. You really have to break down on paper how you are going to complete the job. Every job and jobsite is slightly to very different, even when the project is very comparable to others. You have to figure out everything from where can you park, how far are you moving the excavated soil, is it being taken away, how you are getting the backfill material to the excavated area, how are you getting the pavers delivered, how many guys on the job, rain days, etc... I have found that when you bid based off sq ft, you can get yourself into trouble. Try to think of all the aspects of the job and put the estimate together. Then you can find the sq ft price by dividing your total cost x the total sq ft. It is fine if it varies. I have installed pavers for $18.00 per sq ft and also installed them for $35 per sq ft. Both the same priced pavers but the jobs where night and day difference in difficulty to complete. Do estimates based off the circumstances of the job, not average sq ft paver install prices. ✌
