@@MarcusLloyd yeah dude, love the videography. Seriously it ups the quality tenfold versus trying to move a tripod around and stand in frame. Definitely a new favorite channel of mine, subbed on YT and IG. Keep killing it man! I need to make it to NYC, trying to shoot medium format out there soon
really enjoyed watching this. You love the camera and it shows. You don't compare it with other cameras, nor hammering on the disadvantages. You made the video fun, and showing what the camera will do. Thank you for sharing.
I bought a RB67 about 10 years ago. Had it for about 5 years. Never used it. Not once. Sold the camera with the film still in it. LOVED the weight, build quality, and the idea of film backs that I could have pre-loaded........with different film stock and whatnot. HOWEVER, I found the form factor of the camera to be cumbersome as hell and it just did not speak to me. Subsequently, I discovered the Pentax 67, which does speak to me. Would like to try a Mamiya 6, but did not want to buy one because I thought it would be difficult to find a professional to replace the bellows system nowadays.
I REALLY ENJOYED THIS VIDEO! YOU GOT SOME REALLY GOOD SHOTS OFF OF THEM ROLLS!! I DO WISH YOU CAUGHT THE ROOFTOP SHOT WITH THE GRAFF AND THE SCENE WITH THE KIDS RIDING THEIR BIKES DOWN THE ROAD WITH ALL THE LEAVES!!! I ENJOYED YOUR ENTHUSIASM USING THE CAMERA. SUBBED!!! -THE BLACKMAN ARMED WITH A CAMERA
This was great. Glad to see your channel is growing. I picked an RB67 up last night here in the Bay Area. Just need a light meter and I’m good to start exploring with this. Excited
good videography. Stable and good colors. Very good pics for first using RB-67. A shot of the bicyclists from behind would have been great. Keep it up.
That thing is humongous...lol ! I had a C330 decades ago and only took it outside to shoot once. That was enough for me. With the bellows it was great for closeups as I recall. Nice pics.
Hey Marcus great vid mate awesome results. I just shot my first roll on the RB unfortunately lock down issues mean the film not got to the lab yet so I just Ioaded a preview. Cannot wait to see the images judging by the quality out of yours bring them on. Cjheers mate liked subbed etc
If you put the strap around your neck and slot your right arm through pressing down on the strap it makes it a lot easier to hand hold and you can’t drop it . Lovely locations
Maybe I am showing my ignorance, but why wouldn't you set your infinity to the right hand side of the f-stop for environmental shots if you want the whole scene to be in focus?
Hi Marcus, one question. I'm having problems after develop my films (like a scracth mark in every photo), and I think it's because my use of the grey plate.¿Do you put it back after every photo, or how?
Hey , I have a shoot next Monday but my rb67 film counter isn't working. do you think it's possible to shoot without that and how many times would i wind it before my first shot?
The RB is a beast but you get used to it. I have hiked a couple of miles with a full kit including 4backs, 4 lenses and a backup body. I would go much more than 2 miles though.
One of my first medium format cameras I purchased 5 years back for about $275 and now it’s going for about $800 or so when ever someone with a large following makes mention of the camera! Hahaha! It’s by far one of my favorite cameras ever shooting with! Checkout my work analog work if you get the chance @behindeachfilmgrain
Your first time user experience was a joy to watch. Brought back memories. 😀
haha thats whats up
Love the composition of not only your photos of the Mercedes but the videographer 🙌🏼
Thanks brother. Daniel is behind the lens and absolutely crushing it

Great video and I love the beautiful fall colours in a beautiful neighbourhood.
This was one of the last days before the leaves were gone. Glad we made this episode happen

Man thanks so much Brian! Glad you found the channel as well
I was out there last week with my HASSY 501cm, with Portra 400 of course.

Another great video.Love that opening scene

This is the great work of my buddy Daniel!
This is such a fun video :D Just ordered my own RB
Nice! Have fun with it. It’s a beast
Super interested in getting one. Awesome video. Just subscribed
Much love Orlando 👊🏾
Excellent work, that's my favorite camera. Your architectural eye is excellent, you might want to try 4x5
Not a bad idea. I love shooting my 6x9
That thing is humongous...lol ! I had a C330 decades ago and only took it outside to shoot once. That was enough for me. With the bellows it was great for closeups as I recall. Nice pics.
Yea it’s a pretty massive camera and yea the Focusing system make for great closeups

Perfect , as always !😍
thanks for always tuning in fam
Nice video 👍... Leaf game out here is crazy..lol
haha
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it
Quite a big camera, but the photos turn out really awesome, I really liked the photo at 6 57, the symmetry was really beautiful
Overall I really like the camera. A little too heavy for me but I could get used to it
@@MarcusLloyd Maybe not for everyday use, but for some shots from time to time, it is really nice
@@BogdanFrunza11 totally! Would be great for portrait shoots
Nice video !
To save time and frustration, I usually carry three extra pre-loaded film backs.
Damn thats a great idea especially since the camera itself is so cumbersome.
Have you tried the Instax Fuji Instant film back with this camera?
It is very good time of the year to shoot streets flooded in autumn colours, isn't it ?...
Couldn’t ask for a better time of the year
Awesome photos. No need to work out when you shoot that baby. It grows on you.
Hahaha true
To me RB is the ultimate medium format:)
nice vibe
Thanks 💯
What focal length lens are you using?
hey, what camera strap is that? would love to know thank you!
cool pics and outfit keep it up
Glad you peeped the swag
If you put the strap around your neck and slot your right arm through pressing down on the strap it makes it a lot easier to hand hold and you can’t drop it . Lovely locations
Great tips! It’s still pretty heavy
how many photos do you get in a Roll of Portra 400?....what kind of 120 film if you just want to 'shoot' in black & white? Cheers from Canada!
Maybe grab a roll of tri-x 400 or hp5 and give those a try.
@@MarcusLloyd i will make 'note'...thanks Marcus!
RB67 shoots 6x7, so 10 shots per roll.
Maybe I am showing my ignorance, but why wouldn't you set your infinity to the right hand side of the f-stop for environmental shots if you want the whole scene to be in focus?
What lens did you use here?
Hi Marcus, one question. I'm having problems after develop my films (like a scracth mark in every photo), and I think it's because my use of the grey plate.¿Do you put it back after every photo, or how?
So this was my first time shooting with the RB. My buddy Daniel mentioned that he leaves it out for the entire roll.
@@MarcusLloyd ahhh okay thank you :))
Hey , I have a shoot next Monday but my rb67 film counter isn't working. do you think it's possible to shoot without that and how many times would i wind it before my first shot?
great question. i only shot with this camera for this one video and i dont have a ton of knowledge on it
What focal length was the lens?
Is that thing you hold up testing the light ?
Yep yep sekonic light meter
@@MarcusLloyd you should do a video on how to do it with using outside light , i cannot figure this out :/
Where do you change the iso on the camera lol😅
Lol
After I had dropped my Mamiya RB 67 in the Atlantic Ocean
I dryd it over a vulcano at the bacside of the moon
where I made a selfie with a monster.
The RB is a beast but you get used to it. I have hiked a couple of miles with a full kit including 4backs, 4 lenses and a backup body. I would go much more than 2 miles though.
you get all my respect for hauling that weight around on a hike. i barely made it with just a afternoon of shooting
Awesome video and great channel🔥 def will sub & does this thing shoot film videos?
thanks for the support man!
I noticed when you focused you then move the camera after putting the magnifier back into its place, this will cause your images not to be as sharp
welp that explains a few photos for sure. Thanks for the tip
I had the exact same problem it was only when some pointed it out to me it’s crazy
@@Thomas-py8ni such a crucial tip. Thanks fam
Sweet! #Londonlovesyou

So it's like a dollar a frame
