As someone with a million sounds would you say passing on the 4gb of sounds from Waves (w/Cosmo) is cool or are they just too amazing to pass up?
They are ok to me. Unless you just don't have the space there's no harm in installing it to me. Even if you find just one sound you can use it be worth it cuz it's free. You can always turn them off in cosmos so they aren't seen.

Very good review! do you know if you can use cosmos without cr8? I just installed cosmis but it's not showing up in my daw..
I forgot to mention it but cosmos is a standalone product as well. So you can open and use it without a daw.

Can cosmos detect the key of any sound. for example a kick that hasn't been labelled previously, can cosmos detect that its in F ect
pretty sure it listenes directly to the file and not its name so I believe it can yes

CR8 vs Quick Sampler in LogicProx
cr8 is more in depth and better for design. quick sampler is faster and easier
I don't use quick sampler but I am working on a video comparing cr8 to Studio One sample one
Cosmos better than XO?

In terms of strictly drum one shots...NO, but free vs whatever XO costs these days is a consideration. Cosmos steals some of XO functionality and adds additional features.
Cosmos take forever to scan my samples
I'm very bitter about this Cosmos deal, the CR8 is cool but I didn't get Cosmos along with the CR8 download in fact there's a charge for it not a lot of $$$ but if they say it's free in most advertisements then it should be free in fact the forum panel reveals a few major issues with Cosmos I'm no longer feeling this Cosmos sample finder I may go back to what i was using,,,,,,,,
That sampler is crap
