I’m dropping BOTH elbows on the like button 🤣 Once again I’m about to get new plugins thanks to your reviews. I need a plug-in addiction support group 😭
Thanks a lot! you're the first to review this plugin and show how to chop sample with it!!! and i've seen almost all the reviews... ;-)
SumnSumnSumn, I like what you are doing, You are helping a community of producers who take advantage of the free products. You are giving me the access to the cosmos sampling finder which is fuel for my fire in my labortory. thx Bro.
Ay man just became a fan after that video of your dyi panels that was great man
Was waiting for ya to post about this new sauce🌌
This is definitely the sauce for the low too.
Got this and it is inspiring. Dig this a lot, especially when you can layer and select the note ranges per sound/tab and apply filtes.
Yessir. I'm not sure whether I like cr8 or cosmos better at this point.
@@SumnSumnSumnHTK Kind of depends... Cosmos can be used without CR8 too just to catalog your samples for dragging in the DAW, but CR8 has some functionality I haven't seen in other samplers at the moment. The sampler in Ableton comes close though...
@@SumnSumnSumnHTK BEEN WAITING 10 MINUTES FOR COSMOS TO CONNECT TO DATABASE WTF IM BOUT TO TAKE A NAP WTF
love this video and that hat is FIREEEEEEEEEEE :)
Damn they really dig XO dirty by taking it's most cool feature lol. I didn't even know I could do that in the Waves one tho, will need to try it out
What a blessing this plugin is right? omg
💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿 I like that. Great video
It's definitely a solid sampler my g
Yes
I got'em both already
You're awesome fam!@
So are you!!!
@@SumnSumnSumnHTK thank you
Haven’t watched your videos in ages as I don’t really work with plugins anymore. I only use this one you’re reviewing as I produce more with samples nowadays. Keep up the good work. Do you know any plugin which can auto play strings or pads in any key? All you have to do is say select C major and it plays something that can fit into the track.
I got it can’t wait to try it out. I’m at the job at this moment
You're gonna love it when you start messing with it.
Me too! Reminds me of the XLN XO drum machine sample field, but XO costs a lot more.
Looks like one shots will be fire
thanks for the review! is the 2500 samples that comes with cosmos are 100% royalty free?
Hello, thanks for the information. At the end or your video, you set everything using the "Pitch". That isn't correct. That's why your chops were messed up. You needed to set your chops at "ROOT". Then everything will be spread out across your keyboard. Thanks bro. Appreciate your time.
Can’t lie this sampler is dope even for fl users
Your tutorials always make things simple for everyone to understand. I found out about this from Devvon but his tutorial wasn’t as in-depth as yours.
Would you be able to do a comparison to this vs *Reason Mimic* Creative Sampler?
I've just got CR8 along with Cosmo's and I've been making beats for a few months now. Does this plugin work best with a midi keyboard?
Great Vid. I bought it but I use GarageBand and can't find it. How do you use it in GarageBand. Would be a nice tutorial
i downloaded it but i cant find the sampler in logic after installation
i only get the standalone version outside of logic
any suggestion on how to resolve this?
Forget the plugz, I need that hat!
(Elbow dropped, btw)
dope tutorial, just facts not a lot of opinion
His lid is money rich. I want iiit
I can’t find it in my daw. I’m using logic btw
The new waves samplers looks like it functions the same as Reasons Mimmic however $10 is great price as to buy the Reason Mimmic sampler if your dont have it is £109.
Can't beat that price tag
@@SumnSumnSumnHTK Makes this very interesting indeed.
Do you know why it isn’t extracting my rock guitar samples and putting them into the relevant key? When I search for them in the key scale, nothing comes up which is weird especially as I have thousands of them.
Idk... also noticed the key in COSMOS sample finder and CR8 don't match up...
@@j.thedude maybe it’s all still a work in progress. It has made life easier though. Only problem it’s hard to do specific genres. Maybe it’s a blessing taking bits from other genres to create something new.
I tried to download cosmos after signing up but it keeps on saying it has been sent to me already. sent where? can you help?
You have to download waves central and download it from there.
Before this sale/release I was in the market for Initial Audio Slice. The price and simplicity of the GUI attracts me to it. But the Waves upgrade yearly plan makes me cringe. With Slice, it seems to have lifetime updates. What are your thoughts between the two?
I've never used the splice one. For 10 bucks this is a no brainer for me if you're looking for a sampler.
@@SumnSumnSumnHTK Initial Audio Slice review would beat great addition to your channel. Thanks for what you do.
I hate the upgrade stuff too. Check Serato Sample also. I haven't looked back at using any other sampler after I bought it.
Inital slice is good too...
@@blackviking1187 serato sampler is free tho
Not just Norton they all pop up
Pad: wooowooowoowoowowowo--NORTON!!!!!!!!
Real talk... When is FL gonna get a smarter sample finder within it's DAW to audition samples? 😅 This just made me stay with FL instead of graduating to Ableton
Bro sampled a whole melody to make a synth sound that every VST has lol
I just bought it, I realized the license only lasts for a year. It states no update plan before I paid for it, after payment, it says the license expires next year. This is why I don't use Waves plugins. You don't own what you pay for.
The license is good forever but you only get updates for a year.
@@SumnSumnSumnHTK OK.. That makes sense. Thanks
I'm mad as hell I bought xo like a year ago lol. This does look better for melodic samples tho. adsr sample manager doesn't even work on my pc. I just wonder if waves will let me put this on 2 computers tho
I almost bought xo but I ultimately decided not to.
You can install on multiple computers. It’s free.
@@GrainPiece it only let me register on one. That's been my experience with all waves plugins tho.
Unfortunately my laptop has been waves free for a while now lol
@@kyledege315 you can pickup a second license on your waves account
Why Norton!!??
Norton literally does whatever it wants. 😆
On the Waves site : CR8 and Cosmos are no more free. 34,99 $ for the sampler and 14,99 $ for the sample finder.
Haha gotta work on that cough…I swear I heard XO lol
Yeah idk bro that cough was hella aggressive too. 😆 🤣
@@SumnSumnSumnHTK lol, cosmos shows promise, especially free
U making me spend my cash!
Takes me 6 hours at work to make $9.99
9,99

check out Waves for a better tutorial

Norton!
Slows down pc
I really don't know where you guys are getting this "Free" Cosmos from, because when I downloaded my CR8 there was no Cosmos no where to be found and I found out that I have to pay an extra $14 to get Cosmos which I'm not complaining about a measly $14 but this advertisement is false and I wasted more time than I wanted trying to see why there was no Cosmos!!!!
