More time with Catalpa crew is always good. Backflip Bella, 😊 looked painful.
Hello. Catalpa. Crew it would be wonderful to be able to watch you for an hour. I enjoy your adventures and look forward to your new blogs every week. 😀
🥰thank you
Touching! It's hard to close one chapter and start another one. Yet, that is how life goes forward.
OMG I cried so much …….. so glad you got to travel home with Nalukai!
🥹🥰
Loved the longer format, didn't want it to end :) Thanks for sharing.
So I watched the intro as usual and thought, "Well, this will be good to watch as I eat dinner." What started out as a normal vlog quickly turned into a documentary and then a docudrama when you sold Catalpa. I used the right cursor key to speed things up when I saw Bella crack her nose. Listening to the Indonesians talking about their camper van excursion was very interesting and surprising. And then, at the end, when you reached the top of the volcano, I fully expected to see Lee come over the ridge in a helicopter to rescue you all. A great video. Thanks for the ride. See you next week.
Still waiting for the search party 😆 thanks for watching 🥰
I was cutting onions. you're full of love and loads of good vibes. I'll keep watching
Oh jeezo! Tissues! You guys are the opitomy of how love should be! Haven't felt so lonely in a long while. It's wonderful to witness such a strong bond between you all as a goal to strive for. Lovely.
🥹🥰 thanks for watching
Just found your channel , WOW , you have a great family and a great circle of friends . Down side is , this was your last posting on your home , " CATALPA " . The boat is a big part of the journey , but it's the Family , the Crew and the Friends that makes it a HOME . I am safe in saying , that your NEW HOME will be an amazing place once you get on board and set sail .
But I will say that , you are an amazing Mum , 3 kids and a Husband to look after . Climbing that Mountain was awesome , it showed how fit you ( Mum ) are and how you would run rings around the 2 YOUNG GIRLS 😁😁😁😁. To put it bluntly , you are a Mean , Lean fighting machine .
Honestly look forward to the next chapters in your Lives.
Awesome film guys. Loved the update. God knows we have all been waiting for it hahaha. Looking forward to the continuation.
Haha yeah sorry for the wait 🫣 hope it was worth it 😉
@@SailingCatalpa totally, best cliff hanger ever!!
excellent! looking forward to part 2
Beautiful video 🤩 feels longer than 2 years since we saw you on the Gold Coast in Australia 😢 miss you all so much ❤
Miss you so much too 😘😘😘
This was a great ep guys - loved it. I'd definitely watch long form videos from you again.
Awesome, thank you!
Hard to believe it's already two years since you guys sailed back to Australia together with the Nalukai crew. Hopefully you guys join up with Nalukai in the near future, if they still sailing. Much love from British Columbia in Canada.
Awesome episode guys loved it
Well done to guys for being brave enough to take the hard steps to live the life style you wanna live, not many of us have the guts to do it, wish the whole family health and success in life ✌️🌹❤️👌
Thank you 🥹🥰
Loved it ❤
I remember you guys selling and moving up to a bigger boat (or boat project)
Hope to see you sailing soon
Wow! I was not expecting to cry.. great episode! 💝
First love such sweet pain getting it and losing it. But the voyage will continue, which is good for you and all of those that follow.
Defenitly like the longer videos, around 30 to 40 minutes in my opinion ✌️❤️👌
She is more tough than a lot guys
One of your best vlogs to date. I was wondering how the sale of Catalpa went and how you ended up in California on your new boat. The enery you guys have is positively staggering. Walking all over town, hiking trails climbing mountains? That nutmeg jelly must have some good energy additives.
I did the same thing to the bridge of my nose when I was twelve years old. But I had to get eight stitches. 😢
Oh that was Bella’s biggest fear 😉
I remember those warm happy days, it was such a shock for you guys to be ripped out of this life for me. But it all worked out amazingly, although now you need to get back to INDO ! I remember Banda, not sure who first introduced it to me and the history was such that I really looked at a lot of videos about it, what an interesting place ! But wow, what a cliff hanging ending !
Nice to see what happend to catalpa, two year cliffhanger ❤
Yes it’s been a long time coming 🫣
Love it was such great times 🩵
Wowza…I’m Glad you have shown the “Background” of your Adventures😜…I’ve been watching since you got your “New” Boat…Continue to Stay Safe and Enjoy😎
I really enjoyed this long format video, and yes, I made it to the end.
That’s great ☺️🥰
Love the extended format. Also loved seeing you sailing with the crew of Malukai. Looking forward to getting you back on the water and maybe meet up with them again.
Awesome we loved it too and can’t wait for that 🥹⛵️
Excellent Vlog guys! Thank you. Looking forward to the next episode .
I didn't know that you did not have another boat in mind when you sold Catalpa I. That puts a whole different color on the story. That was a brave thing to do. I think it turned out well. You now have Catalpa II, your new home.
Absolutely it was a wild ride of emotions for sure but we got there 🫣🥰
Tears from me as you said goodbye to Catalpa I, sometimes change comes with the tears.
WOW I was so enthralled i forgot i was watching a video and now its 6.35am Mon morning in Ippy Aussie and I'm too awake to go back to sleep. That was a bloody bewdy my li'l Aussie fam. Keep 'em coming guys !!! I take it the purchase has now been finalised and all payments received, so you were able to post this final chapter. Thankyou. You did an awesome job. 🇦🇺🤗💞🙏👍👌✌️👏✝️🇺🇸
Thanks so much we are so glad you enjoyed watching 🥰
Yes I totally enjoyed watching a full hour of Catalpa ❤
Seeing your smiling family each week is the highlight for me. YES YES YES to the longer videos😂❤ What a Rollercoaster of emotions this video brought up, how hard that must of been sailing away , homeless and uncertainty of what the future holds. Captain are you still happy to get your hands working on the new boat ? It has been a bit of a slocg to get C2 out and sailing. CHEERS AND FAIR WINDS Steve h.
Thanks mate yes it has been a wild ride haha watching this back lee had no idea the work he was getting himself into 😅😆
Everything goes in through our eye's, everything else is just feeling, this is awesome 1hr length story, do more guy's !
Cheers mate
Omgg I didn’t expect to cry 😭 so much in an episode! Beautifully told 💜
🥹 🥰 thanks for watching
Great video, and I really liked the longer format.😀👍
Great look back on your Indo experience and handing over Catalpa, plus the adventures with Nalakai. Looking forward to the next episode. Our only son is living the dream up there in Indo.
It’s a dream life for sure ☺️
Definitely love the longer episodes 🤘
Have you left Penasco ? If so when ? You are a great team !
An interesting insight. Thanks for sharing.
As a comparison, growing up as an Army brat (British) by the time I was 10, we had lived in 6 different places, moving to number 7, in 4 different countries, in 3 different continents (Europe, Africa, Asia) and I was in my 4th school. In the next 8 years, another 3 moves, another school and 2 colleges to add to the mix and we still weren't done. After Uni (another 3 moves) I then spent a decade in the Army myself living and working in at least another 10 locations. The concept of 'home' is something I am still trying to work out at the age of 52.
I think I remember Delos going up a peak, in a similar part of the world, and some of them losing the trail on the way down, eventually making it down several hours later after bushwhacking their way down the hill.
I can see how that would be possible 😆😅
Very emotional and touching, very difficult to sale your adventure home without knowing any plan. You have me hooked, I subscribed and will follow you for your adventures wherever they take you.
Thanks mate
Ok Bella, tell the truth... Who punched you on the nose? Mom or Dad??..😀
😅🫣🤣
I really like you guys and you're one of my favorite channels, but I didn't think I wanted to watch an hour long video. I was wrong. I very much enjoyed it and was sad to see it end. I look forward to seeing the next one.
Awesome glad you liked it ☺️
Y'all are Australian I'd think those spiders are nothing compared to what you're used to at home!
Haha yeah we still don’t want them on us 😆
Great episode and let’s us know where the old girl went, Lee was right, it turned out well,
Catalpa ll is a beautiful yacht and is now the new chapter, loved you hour long episode
Cheers
He’s a very smart guy 😉 thanks for watching 🥰
I swear, Bella and Taj remind me of the children of Dirk Pitt.
Sorry I love videos but this one is ways too long please keep ithem under 25 minutes.
Thanks for your opinion 😊
That thumbnail is amazing, Bella looks so bada$$.
Doesn’t she 😆
Love love love seeing your story unfold!! So inspiring to always see you guys trust in the universe. She has big plans for us all! Super emotional right there with you, every step of the way!! Pretty special to realize we both came across our Pearson 530 sisterships in 2022!
Thanks for watching it’s been a journey and I loved looking back making this 🥹Yes I didn’t realise we bought them the same year ☺️
Great video guys. Thank you.
@27:15 Great lifestyle with kids b4 they leave the nest (as has just happened to Zatara), vs 'maybe' only seeing them for a few hours a day, whilst trying to keep up with the Joneses, fund others lifestyles, via taxes, loan interest rates, consumables we don't really need. 💜
I hardly ever comment ; but that was Magnificent !!
I admire your courage and resilience...!!
Your story Inspires me so much.
Thank you So much...
🥹 thank you so much 🥰
With this very long episode it gives the feeling that you almost with you! Liked it very much! What an adventure! Great parents great children!❤
Glad you enjoyed it!🥰
What a wonderful journey and story about the end of Catalpa 1. I enjoy the longer format as well as the shorter ones. Your experiences and challenges make watching your channel so entertaining. You have an amazing family and the individual personalities and talents make watching your videos so intriguing.

Thnx for sharing, luv your Eps & the raw emotion of it all, safe travels
Thanks for watching!
After 10 years, you only have 43000 subscribers. That surprises me a lot since i've been watching since twenty fourteen
If you ever climb Banda Api again be careful that that edge you appear to be on is very undercut. Great vid.
Does Nakukai have a youtube channel?
Unfortunately not yet I’m still trying to convince them ☺️
Most excellent…an hour escape into an adventure. Thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it 🥰
I never miss a video but if you ask me one hour is to long
Thanks for your input ☺️
A wonderful episode. Thanks for closing that loop for us. Could the release of this story be a sign that Catalpa II has splashed? I hope so. You all deserve it.
The dramatics about selling a boat and leaving completely by choice and your own decision to do so, it's not like you were being kicked out of the country, were a little over the top. I give the acting a 4 out of 10. And no idea where the money for a new boat might possibly be coming from. It was probably going to fall from the sky like money does when I need to pay for something. Oh yeah, it was going to happen because you guys just always find a way. 😅
Borax is the best cleaning soap, and Brazing flux
"All part of growing up and being British" . My kids got that when anything went wrong. My little girl married an Aussi so I wonder if her kids get the same, with the obvious difference. Little sympathy for a stupid child.
Well great video great family and great friend s , so much energy spent , wears me out just watching , but I’m glad I did , ouch Bella I hope you’re all healed up now , very brave young lady , can’t wait for the next video , hopefully not far off , Graham 🇬🇧
The video is very good and I really like it
Thanks ☺️
Jesus is my Hero
Lee is an amazing man That I can only Aspire to be more alike
Great, loved the long video.
Hi
Hey mate
Great vid. I would just recommend you guys not smiling at the camera in the intro like that. Really looks like ai robots for a second.
Nice to see you close to gap in timing of videos, been watching for years and was wondering what the hell
Always great whatever length you post. This was really enjoyable .
Thanks so much 🥰
Banda Islands are very interesting; both geology and history.
Thank you for that catchup.
Outside movies, that is the first time I have ever seen someone use those strips like that.
Shit I cryed like a baby all those wonderful memories but all the new ones to look forward to best of luck .
Aluminum or, aluminium, is THE way to go for boat material. So superior to anything else. Ferro is always a gamble. You had a good one. But you never know. And hard to tell. Yes aluminum is more expensive but worth it. Well worth it a cheaper in the long run. No need to even paint it. There are some good French aluminum monos. Shoal draft, good sailing vessels. And can be fairly affordable. Looks like the mult you were on is aluminum. Nice. Good luck and fair winds to your wonderful family. My wife and I cruised over 25 yrs.
Absolutely we would love a Ali boat ☺️
sitting on the bow of the dinghy while under wasn't safe!!!
FANTASTIC ! AND FABULOUS !

Happy to finally share it 🥰
Always wondered what happened to Catalpa. 😊
Do you have contact with your Nalukai friends regularly now that you have Catalpa 2? Your families seemed to blend so well.
Yes we talk all the time miss them a lot 🥹
That fill in some of the gaps. - Really enjoyed your little films now, your documentary is great. Story worth telling.
Cheers mate

Funny, I am watching this excellent video while making landfall in our first Indonesian port Tual!
Amazing that’s so exciting enjoy that beautiful country 🩵
I'm looking for how to find the motorhome travelers RUclips channel?
The channel link is on the screen when we are talking to them ☺️
@@SailingCatalpa thanks. I watch on brave browser so I guess those don't show. But then I also get NO ADS😎 so I'll just accept 😎
@azul29156 I’ll find their channel and put it here ☺️
@@SailingCatalpa hey I'm flattered you don't have to do that I'm just nobody🥰. Either way thanks for just replying
@azul29156 @keluargakusmajadi is their channel 😁
Bella, always listen to your Intuition!
The hour went by fast! Do more this length. I'm not saying do all this length, but more.
Awesome thanks
Hey! I didn know about Catalpa 1, I can imagine how hard it must be to let go your boat after those amazing years sailing across Indonesia, but I understand you need a better one to circumnavigate the world.
My last trip to Banda was in Nov 2022 for a week, and I also stayed at Abba´s Cilubintang Estate. It was my fourth visit. Usually, I hike up Gunung Api every time, but this time I didn't because my friend wanted to learn scuba diving, it was her first time. Now I miss hiking up that mountain after seeing this video.
Banda is so beautiful isn’t it great hike I’m sure you won’t miss it next time ☺️
Nice one! The Format of an hour is good, seems more connecting somehow. so if you have to much footage for a shorter one, i´m happy to watch. 💗
Thanks 🥰
Make the passage and visit the US.
So, when not if you sell the boat... what then ?
